The staff of the space dock was surprised when they received the instructions from the Fleet General, to clear Dock number two because someone was coming over. Although they had yet to receive any flight schedules, they still followed it because the status of the command was level S.
Then the next moment, the sensors went off, and the chief of the Docking Station was shocked and he was about to announce an evacuation when the sensors fell silent. Just like how they have went off all of a sudden.
He turned to look at his deputy and said, “Can someone tell me what happened?”
One of the monitoring staff members pointed at the screen and said, “Boss, two people appeared in the bay area. They stepped out of a space portal.”
The in charge was shocked even more. He shivered and said, “Increase the defenses to max, and come with me to confirm who these people are.”
…
Shi Lang and Amelia had just appeared in the center of the docking bay when the Terran sighed and said, “I had forgotten about the defenses.”
Amelia chuckled and said, “Expected that from you. What now?”
Shi Lang shrugged and replied, “What else can we do other than waiting for them to come and confirm the identities? They have never seen anyone who had manipulated space perhaps.”
Amelia nodded and replied, “Yes, spatial abilities were rare even back then and if the genetics have not evolved beyond the speculated levels, then it should still be a rare ability.”
Shi Lang hummed, and before he could say anything, several people and around three dozen robots came pouring through the two doors of the Bay area with their guns aimed at Shi Lang and Amelia.
The drones said, “Don’t move. Raise your hands.”
The couple sighed and then Shi Lang said, “Did you not receive the information from the Aries Command Center?”
The people suddenly froze, and the Station Master, stepped forward as he asked, “Sir, was it you, who caused the spatial anomaly inside here?”
Shi Lang waved his hand and opened a small portal inside the bay area again which caused the sensors to go off again. He sighed as he closed the portal and said, “I swear, had it not been for the sake of protocol, I would have gone home, take a look, and then meet the General Council before heading out, rather than going through this hassle.”
The station master gulped and said, “Well, I apologize for the inconvenience, Sir, but can I see your credentials?”
Shi Lang raised his left hand and operated his communicator, Amelia did the same, and their credentials were displayed to the man. Fleet General Haru had done a quick job of refreshing and reinstating their credentials.
When the Station Master saw the IDs, he almost pissed his pants, but he held on, after all, he was a soldier too. He saluted Shi Lang and Amelia as he said, “Sir, we have prepared a special convoy for you to head to the General Council.”
Shi Lang waved his hand and said, “I want to get down and I will do it my way, but can you just inform the people to not be surprised. I will not open any space portals, but taking to the skies shall be fine.”
The station master nodded hurriedly and then he took the two people to the space elevator. This thing connected the space dock to the planet, and they could take the elevator to travel from the planet to the dock port.
Shi Lang looked at the side and said, “Amy, let us flex to them a little.”
Amelia chuckled, she waved her hand and a jade like sword appeared beside her. The weapon was levitating in the void, and even though the people had been trained in cold weapons, they have never seen a spiritual sword.
Amelia’s sword was refined by Shi Lang and it carried a spirit of its own, that woke up after Amelia had refined the weapon over the months. The people were staring at the sword when Shi Lang said, “Raksha.”
The sword spirit replied, in his mind, “Not your taxi, mate.”
Shi Lang chuckled and then he said, “Tribulation.”
The golden spear appeared beside him, and it made the people think that a real dragon was hovering in the void. The two people stepped onto their weapons, and using a small space jump they appeared in the void outside the docking station. The entire Docking station staff, the people who were curiously looking out to find the reason behind the sudden evacuation were shocked to see that two humans were standing outside the docking station without any suits over them.
Then they both stepped on their weapons and they entered a flight that took them straight towards the ground. However, as the speeds increased the phantoms of the two spirits became evident. They materialized into the ethereal forms of hundred feet dragons, one golden and the other white.
The golden dragon was made up of golden lightning and the white dragon was flickering with four colors of elemental essence. Shi Lang chuckled as he looked at Amelia. The lady smiled at him and said, “Catch me if you can, Lang.”
The speed of the dragon under her feet shot up and Shi Lang gave chase, however, he didn’t use the super speed that he had comprehended, but just chased after her.
The two people forgot that they were heading to the ground to meet the Generals, but began to place around the space lift, chasing each other. To the onlookers it looked like the dance of the dragons.
After half an hour, Shi Lang and Amelia were neck to neck as they peered through the veil of clouds and the magnificent view of the ground appeared in their view. The place was shimmering with golden lights, and Shi Lang held Amelia’s hand as he said, “We are home, Amy.”
Amelia smiled and said, “My home is wherever you are, love. I never left home.”
Shi Lang smiled and before they knew it they were already hovering above the ground station entrance of the space elevator. They could see that a few dozen companies of soldiers were present on the location, and they were all looking at them.
The Terran put away his tribulation spear and Amelia did the same with her Jade Flash. They both appeared in the void, standing over and looking down at the mortals of the federation.
The soldiers saluted and said, “Welcome Home, General Ace!”
Shi Lang smiled and said, “Thank you, where are your generals? Are they not taking me seriously?”
The atmosphere turned cold, and that was when the young man had yet to reveal any strong moves.
