Everyone was watching the old man who rose to the air and was about to self-destruct. When the energy had gotten to the level where the old man could explode, it suddenly stopped. When they looked at him properly, they saw that a figure had mysteriously appeared behind him and had placed a palm on his shoulder, forcefully stopping the old man from self-destructing. Grey was standing behind the man, his palm on his shoulder as he wore a blank expression on his face.

The moment Grey took action, the two old men who were in the Sovereign Plane opened their eyes and looked straight at Grey. They hadn't even bothered to look at the entire incident all this while because they didn't see the need to. There was no need for them to speak, their presence alone was enough. And this was initially the case as the old man from the McCall Family was about to kill himself, yet at the last moment, someone suddenly appeared and stopped him. When the duo saw Grey's face, they couldn't help but wear an odd expression. They tried to sense Grey's cultivation stage and their expressions truly took a change as they noticed that they couldn't sense his cultivation stage. This meant only one thing, Grey was stronger than them. At the thought of this, the duo exchanged glances. "I wonder who Your Excellency is, and why you're involving yourself in Sir Xavier's business?" Of the two First stage Sovereigns, one of them wore an all black attire while the other was in blue. The one in blue stepped forward and spoke, not allowing Mark to take charge over this upcoming conversation. "Xavier? What's that?" Grey wore a confused expression as he heard the name that was called. He really didn't know who this Sir Xavier was. It hadn't been long since he entered the City, and he found out that the Family he was actually hoping to find out about was about to be wiped out. Well… not wiped out, but close to it. If he hadn't come, there's a chance that he might not get what he came for. So he didn't get the time to learn about the powers in the City. Raging Flame City is under the jurisdiction of Raging Flame Faction, but the Faction itself is not situated here, rather, a few kilometers away. Grey at least knew the next of the Faction Leader and the other Peak Sovereigns present in the Faction. He was not scared of them, but he didn't want to cross them unnecessarily as well. If it didn't call for it, then he honestly didn't want to meet them. The old man from the McCall Family was taken aback when he suddenly felt a palm on his shoulder, and then noticing that all the energy he had gathered had been resolved with ease, he actually felt despair. He thought that this was an expert from Mark's side that didn't want him to kill himself, but wanted to torture him. It was only after hearing the question of the old man in blue did he turn to look at the figure that stopped him from his certain death. Seeing the young face before him, he was a little surprised. Grey still looked around his early twenties. Although the old man knew that there were powerhouses who kept their youthful appearances even while they were hundreds of years old. Nevertheless, he could tell from a glance that Grey wasn't old, rather, he should be around the same age as Mark and his son. If Grey could easily stop him from self-destructing, then he was at least a Sovereign stage powerhouse. As this thought flashed through the head of the old man, he felt cold beads of sweat appear on his head. Even when the two First stage Sovereigns appeared, he wasn't under this much pressure. Mark was using borrowed strength to act wantonly, even forcing the old man to want to commit suicide since he knew he could not. Grey, on the other hand, could kill the old man with a snap of his fingers. The difference between the duo was too great. What scared him even more was that he didn't know which side Grey was on. But hearing how Grey replied to the question, he realized he was not an enemy. That was all that he needed to verify. He whispered to Grey seeing his confused expression, "Sir Xavier is a member of the Raging Flames Faction. He's also the son of the City Lord." "Wait… he's not the City Lord?" Grey was shocked. He even thought that this Sir Xavier would be the City Lord of this place, after all, his name was called in a manner that'll make others feel that way. He didn't expect that Sir Xavier is actually the son of the City Lord. The old man from the McCall Family shook his head. He soon understood that Grey didn't have any clue about the powerhouses in this place. Thinking about it, he felt that Grey was a genius who rarely had time to communicate with others, so he didn't know others. His thought process isn't wrong, even in the Aurora Continent, Grey barely knew anyone. He's almost always on an adventure or cultivating, so he didn't even have the time to know others. He knew a few people's names, but he didn't even know their appearances. He was lucky to see the paintings of a few of the top experts in the Aurora Continent, hence the only hope he had of even recognizing any of them if he ever sees them. "So that guy is the City Lord's grandson?" Grey raised a brow as he looked at Mark, he felt he was even more displeasing to look at now that he knew that he wasn't even the son of the City Lord. This doesn't change that his background was powerful, but that was for normal people. For someone like Grey, even Mark's grandfather will not be able to make him fear in this place. The City Lord of this place won't be more than a Peak Sovereign, and Grey didn't have anything to fear against Peak Sovereigns, especially one that might not have any help. Also, he was a hundred percent certain that the City Lord wasn't a Peak Sovereign. The old man in blue didn't expect that Grey would react in this manner. He initially wanted to use the name of Sir Xavier to act as a deterrent since he didn't know Grey's strength, but from the looks of things, the other party had no idea who Sir Xavier was. He didn't rush as the Clan Leader of the McCall Family explained to Grey. "Now that you know who you're dealing with, I'd advise Your Excellency to withdraw." The old man in blue said after waiting for Grey to digest the information. "What does Xavier count for?" Grey asked with an indifferent expression. He isn't one who was scared of others, especially now that it might affect a treasure that will help him grow stronger. The old man in blue almost tripped when he heard this, he didn't expect Grey's reaction to be this indifferent. He could tell that Grey didn't place either Sir Xavier or his father the City Lord in his eyes. "Why are you talking this much with this brat? Just kill him and be done with." Mark said coldly. He could sense that Grey is probably powerful, but this was Raging Flame City, the City of Raging Flame Faction, the overlord of this Territory, who would dare to act arrogantly in this City?

The two old men exchanged glances, they too also wanted to do what Mark suggested, but Grey didn't look like a pushover. If they were to offend an entity they shouldn't, then even deaths won't save them. Thinking of this, the old man in blue gritted his teeth and decided to still try to make peace with Grey. "I wonder if Your Excellency would like to have this discussion somewhere else?" The old man asked. Hearing his question, the crowd were stunned. They all thought that the old man from the McCall Family would die, but they didn't expect someone to appear at the last minute to save him. The fact that it was a youth made it even more shocking. But the thing that left them speechless is that the Blue and Black Protectors of Sir Xavier who were known for their ruthless nature were actually trying to take a step back. Offering to have the conversation somewhere else was a subtle sign of the Blue Protector wanting to take a step back and not let the old man from the McCall Family kill himself. At the realization of all this, they couldn't help but look at Grey, wondering where he came from. The crowd weren't the only ones staring fervently at Grey, both Mark and the young man from the McCall Family had their eyes on him.
