Downstairs, in the restaurant area, Will and few others prepared a space to hold the talks. They moved some tables and chairs. When we got there, we all were directed to have a sit, while he stood in the middle, visible to everybody.

- I believe everybody already saw what is going on - he started.

Some people nodded, others even just plainly said 'yes'. I just watched in silence.

- There might be an alien invasion according to what that alien said, so I believe we should prepare for that. Each of us is strong enough to make a major impact during a battle, some could even determine the outcome - he looked especially at Adam and me.

Silvas left his chair, as he probably felt called out, and joined Will.

- I agree.. Maybe we live in different places, worlds even, but this is our home, and it will always be this way. Whoever they are, and whatever they think they can achieve here, they are wrong. We will protect this place!

- YEAH! - screamed Martin, as he flexed his chest muscle causing the shirt to rip right between his packs.

There was a second or maybe two of complete silence, as everybody looked at him.

 - That's fucking right! - shouted sanders.

This caused an avalanche of screams. Everybody was suddenly eager to fight. It went on for a couple of minutes, before Aram rose his hands, to calm everybody down. It took him a moment.

- Please, quiet, please... Don't waste your energy. We still are not sure if such a dark scenario will happen. Let's wait for now for more news, but please keep in mind that this world might need you to save it.

- He is right, people. You are the heroes - added Will.

I noticed that on the side a small group build-out of the waiters and cooks gathered and observed us. There was even the restaurant chef among them. He cleared his throat as Will and Adam stopped speaking.

- Perhaps... Would you like to eat something? - he proposed.

- Yes! - shouted marting - Meets and beer!

This was the start of a fest, that went for few hours. We finally bonded properly with our counterparts from the Hungarian gate. Hunters shared their stories, their worries about the current events, and their hopes.

I wasn't too talkative and kept hanging around with Will and Adam until I spotted Vikram. Then I left the whole group to speak with the guy. He actually wasn't alone, but with another guy, whose name I really didn't care about. For me, he was just Adam's assistant.

- We need to talk. You, Will, Adam, and the two of us - said Vikram. - There has been some development.

They both seemed very serious and nervous. I nodded and turned around to give Will a sign to come, since Silvas was already on his way, as he probably also spotted his assistant.

- What is going on?- he asked.

- We need to talk - I informed him. - The five of us.

- Five?

- Yes, Will too.

- What's going on? - asked Will, as he joined us. - Some news?

- Yes - confirmed Vikram. - Come upstairs, to my room.

He then immediately turned around and went straight to the elevator. We all followed and shortly arrived at the right flor, to then walk straight to the right place, and close the door behind us.

His place was the same as mine, so I won't describe it, since there is no reason to.

Vikram made sure the terrace was also closed, and then finally spoke.

- They made a contact with that alien ship. Spanish reached them first, but a bit later British also appeared, so we have confirmation from two sources. Right now the world leaders are assembling in UN headquarters in New York, but they basically have two options to decide on.

- They will either join Ixan empire, or we will have a large scale conflict, which according to that alien messenger, we have no chances of winning - Adam's explained further. - But to join them we have to meet the requirements, and on top of that, we also have to prove ourselves as a species.

- What are the requirements? - asked Will.

- And here trouble starts - said Vikram. - We need either one ruler or one government responsible for us, and we also have to show that we are strong enough. We still don't know how, but right now the bigger problem is the one government.

- Oh yes, that does sound quite troublesome - Adam agreed.

- The world leaders are assembling as we speak to figure it out, but we have been asked to confirm your cooperation in either of those two cases - his assistant spoke again.

I noticed Vikram's eyes glued to me. He was obviously concerned about our recent argument, and the fact that it could affect my decision, but I wasn't that petty. There were bigger things at stake.

- Of course, we will cooperate - said Will. - Why wouldn't we?

- Wait a minute - said Adam. - We will cooperate, but on our own terms. We are not soldiers fulfilling the orders.

Will nodded, understanding what Silvas meant by that.

- We will notify you when we will know more - said his assistant. - Right now we have to wait for the further development of the situation and the decision.

- There is not much to decide. We should agree - said Adam. - The war could devastate the whole planet, and we are not ready for that. What do you think, Peter?

He probably asked me just because I was silent all his time.

- Depends on what it really means to join them. If we will have to pay tribute and follow their orders, then I don't think it's a good idea, but if we get some of their technology and stuff, then I believe we should join.

- In the end, it's not up to us to decide - said Vikram.

That's how the conversation ended, and the three of us went downstairs, to tell the rest what we've learned.

The rest of the day and night was just waiting for the development of the situation and more information. It was kinda crazy. Some of the hunters were really driven mad by it, so we had full hands with making sure nothing would happen.
