Back For My Daughter

Chapter 629 We Are Fairies, But The Cursed Ones

"When you meet the person whom you will marry you need to make sure that he will really love with all your heart."

Lying on the bed, little Meng's mother said while caressing her cheeks.

"Hmm."

"Then Mommy, what is the secret of our family?"

Little Meng asked with excitement, right now all she wanted to know was about the secret that her mother was going to tell her.

"Don't be afraid of Mom my daughter."

Finally, the mother gritted her teeth and held her daughter in her embrace tightly.

The little girl was suddenly stunned to see that her mother was holding her mother so tight that it had started to hurt her now.

But the next moment, what the little girl saw made her want to run away.

"Momm, what...what happened to your eyes, ahu ahu, sniff, sniff."

The little girl stared at her mother's face with her eyes wide with tears falling from her eyes as she extended her fingers near her mother's eyes.

Right now, she didn't feel any pain after being even tightly held by her mother, and that was because the little girl was seeing something which had not only stunned her but even made hr afraid.

"I am sorry, my child, Mom is really bad."

The mother also burst into tears as she hugged her daughter not knowing if this was the last time she would see her daughter with her eyes or not.

But right now, she was determined to not do what had happened to her back then.

Although little Meng was afraid for the first few moments, the person in front of her was still her mother, and so she quickly hugged her even tighter and started crying.

Even if she looked a bit frightening, the little girl could see that it was her mother who always loved and cared for her.

After a while of crying in each other's arms, the pair of mother and daughter sobered and the mother stared at her daughter without an ounce of fear of making her child afraid.

"You aren't afraid of Mom right?"

"No, I am not."

The little girl looked at her mother's face which was having many green glow marks and her crystal-like eyes.

Not that she was looking at her mother's eyes, the little girl even felt that her mother's eyes were very beautiful.

"Mommy, your eyes look so beautiful."

The little girl exclaimed finding that her eyes were really so beautiful.

Never in her dreams, had the mother thought that the thing which worried her so much making her not to even let her see her own daughter's face would be an utter joke.

If she had known that her daughter would even find her eyes so amazing then she might have been spending all these days enjoying herself with her daughter.

Of course, the little girl would be afraid if she were to suddenly see that her mother's eyes looked completely different than before.

And that was because the eyes of her mother didn't look like eyes at all.

They were like two sapphire gems which were placed in her eyes.

If one looked at it, they would immediately be frightened due to the light emitted by them, but after getting sued to it, one would definitely notice that they were beautiful and looked as if it was a fairy.

"Haha, how naive I was to think that my brave girl would be afraid of me?"

The mother laughed out thinking that all this long she had just wasted instead of spending it with her daughter.

"No, Mommy, you look so beautiful with the eyes, just like how you said about the fairies."

"Alright, now listen to Mom carefully."

With that, the mother started to recall a few things which sometimes made little Meng surprised and even made the little girl wonder in excitement.

"So Mom, was Grandmother, Great-grandma and her mother all fairies?"

After a long time, Little Meng asked with her eyes shining with light, of course, a little girl would definitely be fascinated to hear the stories of fairies and monsters, and hearing that her mother, her grandmother, and all of their mothers were all fairies, the little girl couldn't help but exclaiming amazement.

With a mocking smile on her lips, Little Meng's mother nodded.

"Yeah, we are fairies, but cursed ones."

"Huh?"

The little girl didn't understand as to what her mother meant since she had not revealed everything to her and still hid a few things from her afraid that it might break the little girl's heart.

'Only if there was a way for me to continue living with my child?'

While Little Meng was filled with ecstasy, her mother's face was filled with a pained expression while she sighed in her heart.

'I only hope that my child won't suffer the same fate as all of our ancestors did.'

She looked at the moon which was completely brightening the sky with its silvery light as tears dripped from her eyes which she wanted to hide from her daughter.

__________

'Even I hoped for Qiqi to not suffer the same fate as our ancestors did, back then or what might have happened to me after a while.'

While looking at the cute little face in front of her eyes as the little girl clung to her, Yuan Meng thought the same as her mother had about 25 years ago.

'But with Qian'er, I am not worried about anything, I know he will find a cure for us, I don't want to leave my child and husband alone crying in misery.'

She caressed Little Qiqi's face as the little girl snuggled into her arms.

Yuan Meng wiped her tears seeing that the little girls were staring at her.

"Mumma, what happened, why do you cry?"

"Aunt Meng, we really  promise that we won't act like adult people now."

Thinking that Yuan Meng felt sad because of them, Little Jia apologized and said in a hurry.

"I know, after all you are so sweet and adorable, it will only make any one of us feel sad if you don't enjoy your childhood."

Yuan Meng nodded while pinching the cheeks of the two little girls while starting narrating one of the stories her mother had told about the fairies who came from god's worlds and lost the ability to live for long.
