Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 3652 - Child of Heaven

Chapter 3652 - Child of Heaven

Tianming had previously seen Lord Muhu, who had yet to transform into spiritform state. It was clear the latter was no overflower, though, so Tianming could easily deal with him.

Before him were thousands of orderlies from the Order College. From what Tianming had learned, orderlies controlled the college with a system similar to the Tianming Dynasty. They prided themselves on being diligent and erudite scholars, hence the name. But in fact, it was no different from any dynasty.

God Domain Nine was their headquarters, where the true elites gathered, and God Domain One was merely a branch on a “port” that was responsible for overseeing the various nations of the Xenoabyss within the eyes of heaven. In the eyes of the orderlies, specters like the aurumites were barbarians and unworthy of their time.

"Principal, the Soulfiend will perish in an hour and the Taboo Ocean will spit out Original Sin!"

The orderlies smiled and congratulated one another.

Following the gazes of the strange single-eyed spiritforms was a person who stood out from the rest. In the God Domains, there was a clear distinction between the weak and the strong, the noble and humble. Astron density was the key; the more astrons one possessed, the closer they were to becoming a cosmic god. Therefore, the principal was extremely conspicuous.

He was sixty meters tall and shaped like a gourd, consisting of two spheres, one large and one small. On the upper sphere were ears, an eye, a mouth, and a nose. As if it concealed a soul world, strange ripples filled the large solitary eye that stretched ten meters in diameter. The bigger sphere below was his limbless body.

Despite his round shape, he wasn’t fat at all. There was a reason behind the ordelies’ particular body shape. Because they could no longer use their hands and feet in battle, two stacked spheres were the most suitable form. Orderlies at the Overflow stage were all shaped like gourds, and the larger their bodies grew, the stronger they were.

There were many directions for life’s evolution! Mortals became less and less human as they grew into cosmic gods. After all, it was transcendence. No longer were they flesh and blood. Tianming himself was half an astral lifeform.

At that moment, the gourd-like principal of Order College made his way through the crowd under watchful eyes. A white light burst from his strange eye, beaming on the center of the Taboo Ocean.

"Look alive! Surround the area and get ready to deal with the Soulfiend’s counterattack. It isn’t the Nightfiend, but it can eat you up!" The principal’s voice sounded in every orderly’s ears, as if speaking directly to their souls.

"Yes!" The gourd-shaped spiritforms dispersed on full alert. No ordinary person would dare look into their eyes, which were both the window to their soul and a weapon. Any regular specter would be trapped in them.

After making the final arrangements, the principal walked away with a solemn look.

At that moment, two bright lights appeared in the space in front of him, gold waves rippling within. Two terrifying auras suddenly descended and the orderlies immediately bowed, their eyes filled with awe. Thick mist burst from the light, forming two pure white clouds that shrouded even the principal. It felt like their souls were being purified as everything around them turned white.

The principal looked up. From the gold waves in the depths of the clouds, two figures about fifty meters tall emerged, a man and a woman. Radiating the glow of the Overflow stage, they both had snow-white hair and skin, and flawless features and proportions. Every part of their bodies, even their eyelashes, seemed to have been crafted with precision. The man was handsome and the woman was angelic. Their astrons were covered in intricate divine celestial patterns.

There was no doubt they were a wonderian pair.

Although there were other wonderians around the Taboo Ocean, the two new arrivals definitely stood out from the rest. The fifty-meter-tall young man and woman were full of vigor and possessed a superior bloodline. It was obvious that the wonderians who had settled in the Million Mundi couldn’t compare to them, not even Zhoutian Shenhai. They were blue-blooded aristocrats of the Upper Star Ruin.

Upon seeing them, the sixty-meter-tall principal became serious. Taking a step forward, he said, “Greetings, children of heaven, Yugong Huishenjun, Yugong Huiqiye. It’s been ages since we last met!"

"Principal Gourd, you’ve got it wrong again. The two of us are one child of heaven.” Yugong Huiqiye coyly smiled. She was sweet and angelic, with two big, lively eyes and skin as smooth as cream. Not only was she taller than Fengqing Youmeng, she had also inherited a purer bloodline and bearing. The density of the wonders inscribed on her astrons surpassed any foundationeer wonderian.

"You’ve got it wrong as well, Miss Yugong Huiqiye. My name isn’t Principal Gourd, it’s Mu Tianyuan,” the principal calmly replied.

"’Principal Gourd’ is much easier to remember," Yugong Huiqiye playfully laughed. It was hard to tell if she was mocking his appearance or expressing intimacy by giving him such an unpretentious nickname.

However, it was clear that Mu Tianyuan, the “king of the port”, detested the moniker.

"That’s enough small talk. Mu Tianyuan, I’m here to speak to you about something." Contrary to the sweet young woman, the man was icy. Long white hair draped over his shoulders, framing his handsome face. Although he was a level behind Mu Tianyuan, he was more imposing.

"Go ahead," Mu Tianyuan said.

"A group of wonderians were killed and overflow fragments were stolen. And it happened in the eye of heaven in East Melodia!" Yugong Huishenjun said, his voice deep.

"How could that be? Who’s behind it? Was it Team Hexapath who was killed? Right after they completed the transaction!" Mu Tianyuan was surprised.

"The letter I received said it was the work of specters!" Yugong Huishenjun said.

"Specters? The aurumites?" Mu Tianyuan shook his head in confusion.

"All it said was ‘specters’. The letter offered no other information, so I’m here to ask you!" Yugong Huishenjun coldly replied.

"There were signs of a battle, but it was over when our people arrived. I ordered an investigation but I don’t have information to give you yet," Mu Tianyuan said.

"The strongest specters in God Domain One are aurumites?” Yugong Huishenjun stared at him with fiery eyes.
