Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest
Chapter 1535 - 1535: Don't Stop Fighting!—–
Elayne was honestly amazed, from her own Weapon, Irene, having evolved to a point she became incredibly powerful, with new forms and transformations, to Rita’s gun and her magic combining their effects and even synchronizing to create even stronger attacks, to Mark’s blazing, endless storm of slashing attacks and draconic flames, and Lily’s almighty hammer strikes, capable of splattering a hundred Nightmareborns in just a single blow, although leaving her a bit tired afterwards, and Jenny’s new halberd, her great and rapid moves, and her destructive capabilities now that she held a great weapon to go with her own innate power, everyone had become too amazing.
And partly thanks to her, and Ignis, the new Divine Forge they created within her Domain ended becoming an incredible new asset to their growth, old weapons she had made using basic materials and objects have now evolved to the point they could compare to Legendary Weapons from Arcadia, finely forged by the most talented blacksmiths out there, and even then, they could perhaps never compare to her own creations, unique in so many details, abilities, and powers.
BBZZZTTT!
The swarm of Mosquito-like Nightmareborns had become much smaller by now, the ones attacking the front at least had reduced their numbers quite considerably, and the speed at which they were being replenished had also slowed down a lot too.
It seemed that Planta and her friends’ efforts had paid quite considerably, their powerful, elemental attacks, combined with their coordination and the amazing weapons they held were enough to quickly tear through most foes, allowing them to easily get through the swarm.
With only a few hundred meters to the Nightmare Cloud, the swarm in the backside, however, was intensifying as more kept trying to attack the area behind the barrier instead of the front!
Despite that, Elayne, Mark, Rita, Lily, and Jenny were quite busy right now, as they were constantly fighting the frontlines, they had little time to put into caring about what was going on in the backside of the large ship they had created, a combination of many spells together.
Gabriel and Katherine were also working hard! Gabriel created barriers outside of the ship itself, offsetting some of the damage that the vessel was taking even as they shattered pretty quickly, and he also released large, golden arrows with white feathered wings behind them, a special, powerful spell he had unlocked.
“{Radiant Angelic Arrows}!”
The arrows chased the Nightmareborns, targeting the specially large and chunky ones, and blowing them up into pieces, explosions of holy light also released shockwaves, blinding and weakening other Nightmareborns in the process.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
The little angel has been growing stronger every day in his own way, and right now, his internal Celestial Essence had reached a very high amount, allowing him to unleash stronger spells.
“{Heavenly Shield}!”
He also conjured layers of Heavenly Shields, powerful Barriers Angels could conjure, resembling giant golden shields made of metal, beautifully decorated, but that were actually magical constructs.
The attacks from the Nightmareborns quickly were reflected by these barriers instead, the more damage they took, the more these shields gathered energy, until they fired giant beams of light against their attackers for extra damage.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“That’s amazing, Gabriel! You’ve become really strong!”
“Hehehe, right? I’m amazing!”
Katherine praised little Gabriel, as the fairy girl pointed her hands down, grasping the grass, flowers, and the spiritual nature of the terrain of Planta.
“Let me help on my own way as well!”
Back then when Elayne’s Domain was attacked by the Cursed Sorcerers, which now they know were actually members of the Black Hand, an organization of Warlocks, Sorcerers, and Assassins originating from the Ancient Middle East, Katherine had to fight to defend the Domain.
Although her original purpose upon being summoned was to protect the plants and help them grow, the fairy was forced against the wall to battle and survive, and also to protect her place.
And it wasn’t like she wasn’t familiar with battle, and like back then, Katherine had to fight using the nature around her.
“This is how Fairies battle, Nightmareborns!”
She raised her hands, as her eyes shone brightly while her green colored hair waved by the wind produced by her attack.
“{Nature’s Wrath}!”
She weaved nature into giant fists of stone, dirt, wood, and plants, as they rushed towards the Nightmareborns, punching them constantly, until they started slowly dying one after another.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
“Hmmm…”
As she fought, she realized there were a lot of cores falling from the monsters as they died. She remembered her master talking about wanting to pick them up, but because of the current situation, that was very hard to do.
“I’ll pick them up for master then!”
She spread out large hands made of wood everywhere across the outside world, gathering many of the spherical cores that fell when the Nightmareborns died, and beginning to gather them inside the vessel.
The holy light inside the barrier naturally purified them, making it impossible for these cores to revive as new Nightmareborns as well, so she began gathering more and more.
“These materials are sure to be valuable for master, I hope she praises me once she finds this big pile! Heheh!”
As everyone was working hard, Elena and her friends battled the Nightmareborns gathering in the backside, already making a huge swarm of over two hundred more.
“Elena! Do you think you can handle that many? Should we help you?”
She heard Morpheus voice echoing behind Elena, but the girl didn’t even look at him, holding her knife, which rapidly transformed into a long black katana.
“Don’t worry about us, Morpheus, keep advancing. We’ll clear this out quickly.”
As she said that, she stepped forward, reaching the barrier in front of her and facing the monstrous syringe-headed bug-like Nightmareborns.
Her online persona, which was already something of an alter ego, DarkReaper, began to resurface within Elena, as her eyes glowed bright red and her skin turned pale blue, while two black horns grew over her forehead, this was because she conjured her [Blue Oni Demoness Transformation] Spell.
“Let’s test my new blade…!”
