"Are you kidding me?" Aren mumbled as he looked at the timer.
It took him 57 seconds to finish making this hammer into Articule in this try!
'Hmmm, I did try my best and was in full speed. The moment the rays touched other dots, I started filling them with Armalist Force. But...how do I complete it in 25 seconds?' Aren thought with confusion.
Aren decided to remember all of his actions and reactions to the dots and rays when he was infusing his Armalist force on them.
Closing his eyes, he fell into deep thought to revise the full process.
A frown lingered on his face for five straight minutes before his eyes shot open, 'Focus and Observe...It looks like the hint really pointed one to observe their whole process after it's finished and not while doing the process. So the speed of rays moving increases if I infuse my Armalist Force on the dots with...more pressure.'
Aren started to make scenarios in his mind on how the process would work out.
After a while...
'The start should be fast as well. I will infuse the Armalist force with higher intensity in the giant dot. Afterward, I will have to keep up with speed and continue infusing in that intensity and speed by focusing fully,' Aren thought after he ran several scenarios.
He then answered the voice, 'I want to try again.'
[This is your last chance. Once the result is out, it will be submitted, and test 1 will be over.]
[00:00]
Aren took a deep breath before touching the hammer and executed <Gear Enchantment> as he hurridly created the cube in 3 seconds.
Without wasting even a half-second, He pushed the cube inside the hammer as it melted into the hammer before a vast starry river appeared in his mind, and he started the process.
He slapped Armalist force in the giant dot with a higher intensity as it shot out rays at the same speed and hit two dots. Aren was ready as he slapped Armalist Force on those two dots right as the rays hit them.
The difficulty increased with more dots, but he was focused and managed to hit all dots simultaneously by partitioning Armalist forces into round balls and slapping them on the dots speedily.
*shua...*
Aren hit the last dots before he realized that he had finished the process.
His gaze went to the timer and...
"FUCKKKKKKKK!"
[00:26]
Aren frustratedly shouted as he punched the hammer away, but it disappeared instead.
"Damnn...just fucking 1 second?" Aren cursed.
If there were a large difference, he wouldn't feel that frustrated but...fucking 1 second? Hell!
[Test 1 has been concluded, you will get the B-grade rewards after you finish the following two tests.]
Aren looked at the notification as he took a deep breath and calmed himself, "No point in wasting time rambling about something that can't be changed."
[Test 2: Trial of Armalist. Choose one out of three gates. All three gates have different types of rewards, and based on your performance; you will get a higher reward of that particular type.]
[In simple terms, if one gate has defense-type rewards, then you will get a defense-type thing, but how good that thing will be related to your performance.]
Aren saw three giant gates appear in the darkness in front of him.
The first gate looked sci-fi with white and blue patterns, and its shape was perfectly square. The doors of that gate were slightly opened with a five-centimeter visible gap from which Aren couldn't see anything as he was a bit far from those gates.
The second gate's shape was a rectangle, more height-less wide. It was burning with purple sparky flame while its material stood out due to its high contrast black radians. One could see pulsing purple and black patterns on the gate's door as well.
The third gate looked like a triangle gate with a gothic-demonic design and patterns with mixed black, red, and green colors. But this gate also had a hint of sci-fi to hit due to its silver-white border around the gate that released blue sparks.
However, the most surprising thing was that...he could see small information on the gates. He didn't know if it was due to his eyes or was supposed to see the information without eyes. But judging from the information he got, he felt that it was later.
The first gate's name was [Aurelion Ravitas Gate]
[Aurelion Ravitas Gate]
-Rank: Mythical
-Type: Trial Gate
-Difficulty: SSS
-Note: Not about surviving but killing.
-Reward hint: Obliterate, Annihilate, Ruin.
The second gate's name was [Divine Asunder Gate]
[Divine Asunder Gate]
-Rank: Mythical
-Type: Trial Gate
-Difficulty: SSS
-Note: Balance is everything.
-Reward hint: Order from Chaos.
The third gate's name was [Magia Adepta Gate]
[Magia Adepta Gate]
-Rank: Mythical
-Type: Trial Gate
-Difficulty: SSS
-Note: Conquer all, absorb all, own all.
-Reward hint: Leash not unleashed.
After looking at all information, Aren fell into thought, 'What is the reward hint implying? I will get reward with key points of those words?'
'Hmmm...If I take those reward hints literally, It means that the first gate will give me a powerful thing with very high offensive capabilities. The second gate will give me something all-rounder and control-related thing because of the hint 'Order from Chaos', or is it something else? Hmm...Anyway, the last gate's reward hint is vague; however, it can also mean leashing the unleashed? this sounds like control thingy as well.'
Aren fell into deep thought as he started thinking about which gate he should pick.
[A/N: Hello, dear readers! I am the author, and it's time for our first event! Choose A Gate For Aren! :D I have created a poll and its link in the comment section. Vote for the gate you want Aren to go in, and Aren will enter into the most voted gate. As you know, the rewards are different, and which gate Aren enters will decide how Aren will move in the story. ]
I POSTED THIS LINK IN THE COMMENT SECTION AS WELL.
