"You, of all people, need my help?"

Davis blinked, "I'm sure with your bodily might you could get down from these stairs by yourself."

"Well, I'm sure I could, but we're in a hurry, aren't we?"

Fairy Thunderblaze uttered with some difficulty, although it was unknown if she couldn't withstand the pressure or was regretting what she had just said.

"We?"

Davis acted ignorant, causing her to smilingly purse her lips behind her veil. Panning her gaze, she saw that the gazes of his people were also on her, their expressions appearing to be full of smiles under their veil.

"Fine, fine. I won't take advantage of a person who I want to help like you did."

Davis extended out his hand as though wanting to help her down, causing Fairy Thunderblaze to narrow her eyes. She didn't mind the blame but wondered if he was truly helping her or had some ulterior motive behind it, as she had just seen him take advantage of every woman he pulled and hugged dearly.

Although it wasn't taking advantage since they were his women, she didn't know how to react if he would really pull her into his embrace.

Sighing inwardly, she was about to take his hand when she suddenly noticed a patch of wetness in his palm.

'This… is that… spit?'

Her brows twitched as she raised her head to look at his face again, which possessed a villainous smirk.

Myria, Lea, and the others also noticed this, not knowing when he actually smeared his spit on his palm. They couldn't help but think this was so low, but once they remembered what this woman actually did to him back then, they justified that it was deserved.

Or perhaps, because it was their man doing this, they couldn't help but automatically justify it.

Either way, they watched this show with amusement, wondering if Fairy Thunderblaze would take his hand.

"How gracious of you, Emperor of Death~"

Fairy Thunderblaze smiled, "I accept your help."

She reached out her hand, actually grabbing Davis's palm, causing him to become shocked as he didn't expect this from Fairy Thunderblaze, who was an extremely prideful woman, probably more so than Myria.

"But I can't help but want to clean this helping hand before I take it~"

*Bang!~*

Abruptly, Davis's hand exploded with annihilative heavenly lightning and ordinary flames, causing a small yet compressed explosion to occur as it rattled the space around. His palm came out scorched, a bit bruised, but he saw that there wasn't much power infused in that attack as though it was done out of equal spite, although raising his head, he saw that Fairy Thunderblaze was no longer there.

The formation present here evicted her as she broke the rule of not using energy.

"That stupid bi-"

Sophie growled as she clenched her fists, imagining that if she didn't want to take the hand, she should've just slapped it aside, but instead, she went ahead and attacked.

"Did you need to do this?"

On the other hand, Myria seemed unamused as she glanced at his bruised hand, which didn't seem to be harmed much.

"I guess not."

Davis smirked, "But I still wanted to taste her own medicine as I learned that we're really the same."

"Regardless, she probably stole your spit, becoming able to track you and perhaps even perform karmic attacks on you."

"That wasn't my spit. It's the condensed liquid of all your sweat gathered on my palm."

"…!"

Davis shrugged, causing Myria and the others to shudder. Their jaws almost dropped. They weren't able to believe it, but the pressure of the second challenge really did cause them to perspire a lot, so they had no choice but to believe his words, becoming embarrassed.

"… and there's no way she could perform attacks with a convoluted body fluid unless she could separate them."

Davis shook his head and waved his hand as he gestured for them to follow. His hand already seemed to be healed while he continued to walk towards the third floor with a satisfied smile.

"What?" Sophie appeared beside him, her eyes scrutinizing his expression, "Are you impressed by her actions?"

"You could say that."

Davis chuckled, "After all, she stated that she resorted to scheming to keep her dignity and pride, and she just did that. I like integrity."

"So you like her? It can't be…"

"Of course not." Davis shook his hand, "She's too calculative, and although she has integrity where she wouldn't abandon her dignity, I don't think she can be loyal to any other person other than herself, and that is one of the topmost values I prefer in you all."

"Oh," Sophie nodded as though she was satisfied with his answer, "… then how should we deal with her if she comes back?"

"Depends on her actions."

Davis pursed his lips, "But first, let's deal with these people."

As they walked further, they came across another chamber.

The people here were very few, amounting to only fourteen, but they all radiated tumultuous undulations, appearing to be in a standoff.

*Booom!~*

A clash of supremely powerful energies reverberated around the chamber, yet there wasn't a single crack forming on the surface of the walls. Two silhouettes shot back from the impact, but neither of them seemed to be injured.

Instead, their expressions were full of provocation and excitement.

"Ahaha, Thiago Tigerius. It would be us Azure Dragons from the Heavenshade Clan who will have the last laugh, so all forms of struggle are futile."

A crimson-azure-robed man with azure-golden hair laughed. He seemed to have a high nose and handsome facial features, which accentuated his tall frame, which was seven feet tall. He appeared to be a fey, a Kingly Monarch.

"Shut your mouth, Reo Heavenshade. It's not yet decided who will have the last laugh as our leaders, with all the luck gathered, have entered the fourth level. You dragons are strong but luck? Not so much." chuckled Thiago Tigerius.

He wore a blue-white robe with silvery-white fur, the same as his hair color, while he had the symbol of a white tiger etched on the back of his robe, his face and chin defined in a cold manner, yet his expression was full of pride.

"Our pure Sacred Tiger blood contains all the luck the universe has to offer."

"As if!"

Reo Heavenshade scoffed, but as he grinned, he turned to look toward Davis and the others.

"Oh? Newcomers? And immortals at that? I certainly didn't expect this…"

He turned his body towards and punched his fists together, cracking his knuckles as though expecting a new fight.

Davis also saw these people, not knowing what to think, as they were all bloodied, as though they had gone through a tumultuous storm of wind that sliced and diced them, forming all sorts of injuries on their bodies. He knew it was because the third level consisted of crossing a Killing Formation, but was it that strong and indecipherable that only their leaders, Empyreal Monarchs, somehow managed to traverse it through sheer prowess?

Nonetheless, there was a fey from the Azure Dragon Clan in front of him, causing his blood to reverberate in excitement as he wanted to compare pure brute force, but his blood was boiling a bit as he spotted a few purple-robed men with insidious looks.

Their eyes were full of vileness, yet they were blessed with a devilish charm capable of attracting any woman.

"The Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realm's Hexadra Clan..."

"What? You have something to say to us?"

Davis coldly spoke, but it prompted one of the three purple-robed men to look at him with a face full of glee, although he wasn't looking at him but the beauties behind him.
