"You all- don't you have any shame ganging up on them like this?"
Ralaza Heavenshade saw a large group of transcendents stand some distance away from her. To her back were Lea and the others she had just been talking to, but right now, they surrounded one area, leaving only the other open, which was the path of retreat.
"Hmph! Ralaza Heavenshade, are you siding with an Anarchic Divergent? You must know that is an extreme taboo even in your Azure Dragon Upper Realm."
"You…"
Taus Serpenzal from the Emperor Cobra Upper Realm spoke first.
He was pissed because an inferior blood like a Phantom Gaze Cobra seemed to have a subservient attitude towards the Anarchic Divergent and his cronies without dying for the myriad Cobra Clans even though he emanated his regal aura towards it when he initially came here, trying to allow it to let him roam free.
The Phantom Gaze Cobra didn't listen to a kingly existence like him but had its tail between its mouth when talking to the Anarchic Divergent, making him furious.
On the other hand, Ralaza Heavenshade wasn't able to say anything. Even she knew she was treading on the edge with how close she appeared with them to them. But ultimately, these people were not Anarchic Divergents, so she didn't think they deserved that kind of treatment.
"Watch your mou-"
"Ralaza, come back."
Ralaza Heavenshade was just about to go off when a solemn voice emerged from the other side, causing her to turn to look at Riaz Heavenshade.
This person wasn't her brother but someone who was in competition with her brother for the throne. They were both princes while she was a princess, so she was obliged to listen to them. Clenching her teeth, she turned to look towards her brother Rath Heavenshade for help but saw that he didn't say anything and stared at her, causing her to tremble ever so lightly.
"Brother…"
She muttered ever so lightly, knowing she was adamant at this point.
Her brother already let the Anarchic Divergent go instead of using all his powers to snuff out a calamity. It would become a huge matter later on, impacting his future. In the same way, if she remained adamant even after she was warned, she would impact her brother's path to the throne and even harm herself.
At this moment, she saw fog spread over towards her, engulfing her along with Myria and the others.
"Seize them!"
A solemn voice emerged from the misty fog that covered the entirety of the bridge.
Myria stood at the center of the stone bridge, her foot hovering upon the sand.
"Go. Your help isn't necessary, but your gesture alone is appreciated~"
Lea also hovered as flames began to emanate from her, her voice directed towards Ralaza Heavenshade. Behind, Sophie, Bylai, Tina, Dalila, Epsila, and the others also took their positions, forming a crescent-like curvature that covered the wide bridge.
In their center was Lea and Myria. However, Lea floated towards the back, hovering behind Myria, essentially putting Myria near the forefront.
Ralaza Heavenshade looked at them and had the courage to face numerous Empyreal Monarchs and Kingly Monarchs. She couldn't understand. What did all these women have to do with an Anarchic Divergent? Why would they all place faith in him? Her expression behind her veil changed numerous times, but in the end, she sighed.
"Good luck. If you all can hold out till he comes back, they would probably retreat…"
She shot away and disappeared into the mist when suddenly a huge axe came slicing through the air towards Myria.
*Rumble!~*
Abruptly, a booming sound reverberated throughout the bridge as heavenly lightning and flames swirled into a terrifying bolt as they spun on each other mid-air, striking the incoming huge axe!
The man holding the axe staggered back, his axe almost leaving his grasp.
"What!?"
He wore a blue-white robe with silvery-white fur, the same as his hair color, while he had the symbol of a white tiger etched on the back of his robe, his face and chin defined coldly, yet his expression that was full of pride was now etched in shock as someone blocked his strike with equal prowess.
He was none other than Thiago Tigerius of the Sacred Tiger Upper Realm.
Thiago Tigerius appeared shaken as he looked towards the side, noticing a crimson-purple-robed woman who hovered out of the conspicuous band of beauties.
"Careful! There's another Divergent who could be an Anarchic Divergent~"
Layla Mistwalker's voice resounded, her voice appearing to sound from very far away, but in truth, Thiago Tigerius knew she could be extremely near, hidden within the mist as it was the Mistwalker Family's domain, not to mention they practically combined their prowess to spread the mist at the moment.
"To think there was someone as powerful as us in his playthings."
Thiago Tigerius threw the axe on his shoulder, appearing to be nonchalant as his shock receded.
"Oh my~" Fairy Thunderblaze giggled, "Did you mean to say weaklings who couldn't compare to his playthings?"
"You-"
Her voice melodiously fell, causing Thiago Tigerius's heart to tremble as he pointed his axe at her.
"Fuck, if you weren't a Divergent, I would've brought you back home!"
Her voice and mannerisms shot through his pride, making him want her.
However, Fairy Thunderblaze didn't care. She appeared beside Myria, her expression solemn.
"Let's retreat. They're not easy opponents even for me, much less when I'm still heaving for energy."
"When did you become his plaything?"
Myria uttered some nonsense instead, causing Fairy Thunderblaze to turn speechless as she didn't expect a serious person like Myria to joke around.
"Don't babble about. I only remember making a deal with you that I would become your bodyguard in exchange for you know what."
"…"
Myria lightly smiled behind her veil.
*Clang!~*
She waved her hand at this moment, causing a wave of light to shatter a mirage, revealing a beautiful white-robed woman who appeared ready to pierce her sword through her body.
"Where is my brother!?"
That woman's eyes were wide in shock, but she retreated into the mist as she demanded to know where Lest Mistwalker was, leaving Myria hovering, her clothes fluttering from a sudden gentle breeze.
*Booom!~*
A giant hammer swung from the side, heading straight towards Myria. A tremendous wave of light energy surged along with it, although it struck a light barrier that suddenly appeared out of nowhere, causing it to be stopped in its tracks, further revealing another man who held onto the hammer with the same shock in his eyes as the predecessor.
"What the-"
With Myria not even turning to look around to defend, Fairy Thunderblaze was also shocked as much as a Kingly Monarch from some Upper Realm trying to break through their defenses, only to miserably fail at it. Swiftly, she raised her hand in both vertical directions, immolating flames emerging from her palms to the ground while annihilative heavenly lightning shot up.
She unleashed both flames and lightning at the same time as they curved toward the Kingly Monarch, intending to deal him with a death blow.
However, two crescent barriers stopped her attack before they could unleash the maximum prowess, causing her to narrow her eyes.
*Booom!~* *Booom!~* *Booom!~*
Numerous attacks from the horde of assailants fell, lighting up the bridge that was covered in mist. Stone projectiles, fiery fists, tremendous aqua waves, tumultuous gusts of wind that had the capacity to slice apart, everything was thrown at them.
The battle raged, becoming a whirlwind of myriad elements twisting the heaven and earth energy, causing utter chaos on top of the stone bridge.
"What's going on here? Ho! A battle amongst heavenly geniuses? Aha! Kill yourselves!"
The Variant Dark Dragon laughed from the distance, causing numerous faces to produce a frown but no one bothered to stop.
Within the mist, Myria's gaze remained unwavering as she raised her hand, her fingers dancing with intricate movements as they summoned fire, water, earth, light, darkness, and other numerous elements to counter almost everything thrown at her, leaving the Monarchs who attacked from the mist to turn shocked with each passing moment.
Even if their attacks somehow made it through, they would get blocked by the other women standing around her, leaving them unable to pierce through their defenses.
However, none of them stopped their attacks because they knew the time was nigh upon them.
"You died~"
At this moment, a white fairy appeared before Myria, causing her eyes to become unfocused.
"Myria!"
Fairy Thunderblaze saw that Myria had fallen into an illusion. She swiftly moved her hands like snakes, thinking of using a Divine Technique, but it would be too late by then, causing her to flick her fingers and unleash a terrifying thick bolt of lightning at the woman who was casting the illusion.
*Bzzzz!~*
The crimson lightning instantaneously traversed the region and struck the white-robed woman, or so she thought, until she saw a white-robed man appear and smile at her.
"Mistwalkers…"
Fairy Thunderblaze uttered as she clenched her teeth, knowing these opponents were extremely difficult to deal with since they used illusions, especially when they teamed up with others; they would practically become invisible with their illusory powers.
Just as she thought it was time for her to unleash one of her trump cards, Myria's eyes snapped open, and with newfound clarity, she uttered.
"Seems like you're all within range~"
"…!"
The Mistwalkers looked at Myria in shock, unable to believe that it took only two seconds for her to break out of their powerful illusion that should've caused her to die by all means.
Before they could even react, the mist surrounding them was blown away by a sudden surge of strong wind energy from her, revealing numerous figures pierced by multiple light lances, their movements turning restricted.
*Spliss!~*
As though a hundred lives vomited blood, the sound of blood hitting the ground like a jet stream echoed across the bridge.
"This is… a killing formation…?"
"How did we not find it…!?"
"It's her spirit formation! How could it be so strong? Who is she!?"
Numerous Empyreal Monarchs shouted as they pulled out the light spears. Some were injured, and some seemed to have dodged the light spears altogether like Rath Heavenshade, but none of them seemed to have died, although the Kingly Monarchs were fatally injured, some slumping on the floor from the loss of consciousness as the light spears seemed to have dealt them a soul attack.
