Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4064: In The Third Sanctuary

"Stella, thank you for bringing us here."

"Not a problem. I'll patiently wait for your return."

Myria extended her gratitude to Stella, causing Stella to reply politely as she cupped her hands before giggling.

It only made Myria smile with warmth. She had been around a lot of plant lifeforms, and their cheerfulness and innocence always made her feel at ease. Of course, it wasn't to say plant lifeforms couldn't be innately evil. However, even if they are voracious and tend to eat other living things to grow due to their nature, they aren't seen as evil but pure and innocent enough not to know the difference between right and wrong.

This applied as common sense to what humans may perceive little plant lifeforms as and not the ones that had definitely grown for hundreds and thousands of years.

"Be vigilant, Stella. Our survival lies on your small shoulders."

Behind Myria, Lereza raised her hand and admonished her.

There were also others, such as Natalya, Fiora, Zephya, Tia's avatar, Vereina, and Illumina. Furthermore, Andiron was here.

Considering this lineup, it was clear Tia and Andiron were here to cast their karmic techniques to protect this mini-realm.

And while Stella was here, she continued to allow the mini-realm to grow. After all, the mini-realm's expansion hadn't reached its limit.

Fiora was here to undergo her childbirth tribulation. Hopefully, they wished it wouldn't be an annihilative one, but with both Davis and Fiora being Anarchic Divergents, it was difficult to tell. There were no records stating that a child between two anarchic entities would result in an annihilative tribulation, so they were still hopeful, but not much.

In a few days, they might find another place for her, but only if they manage to secure it.

Fiora wasn't a magical beast, so she wouldn't feel too weak to face the tribulation, just like Niera didn't. As a human, her power would instantly return unless there was a complication in the childbirth itself, which almost never happens unless the mother is injured or has a condition in the first place.

Zephya was obviously here to protect Fiora as her spirit if any other troubles appeared. Natalya was also here as her sister, but she was eerily silent.

On the other hand, Lereza, Illumina, and Vereina were going to head out with Myria.

Lereza was a Level Nine Immortal Emperor, and so was Vereina. They were barely away from reaching the Empyrean Stage. They were to accompany Myria, but if possible, they might even undergo their respective tribulations before her.

"Understood, the great guardian of the main palace~" Stella cupped her hands and bowed her hand, still giggling cheekily.

"I'll leave my avatar here." Lereza nodded, "If someone intruded, don't try to fight them. If I can't handle them, I would advise you to quickly shift back to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary."

"Understood," Stella nodded, "But don't worry, I'm stronger than you and can handle all kinds of troubles as long as it was under the Empyrean Stage."

Lereza raised her brows as she saw Stella's aura was at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage. She didn't find it strange, nor did she mock Stella because Stella was really strong. However, her lips curled.

"Don't think you're the only one who took the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill."

"Ah!~"

Stella gawked.

"When- oh~" She asked but instantly knew the answer as Davis seemed to be busy these three days before their departure, making numerous plans.

She mostly didn't pay attention as she recovered from using a Void Dust Fruit and reached Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage after being taken care of by Davis. She had been busy preparing to advance all the way from the Fourth Cycle to the Eighth Cycle in one fell swoop, so other than overseeing the defense of the mini-realm, she really wasn't paying attention to what had been happening inside.

She cast a glance at Lereza and even Andiron, feeling boundless pressure from them.

"Senior Stella, please take care and retreat if needed. I will protect them all outside." Illumina cupped her hands and bowed.

"Oh-ho~ You understand me, Illumina. I'm starting to like you more and more~"

Stella shot a look full of approval at Illumina and nodded with a sleazy smile, "Maybe even say a few words about you to him in good faith~"

"…" Illumina's bunny ears flailed ever so lightly, and her cheeks reddened behind her veil.

"…"

Lereza's expression twitched.

An Empyrean was really paying respects to someone lower than them in prowess. This was beyond her comprehension, but she could see why she would also be trusted with a diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill. Illumina really wanted to serve this family with all she had, even taking the position of a maid to serve all the wives in the harem.

Her clones would only last for three days, so it may not be sustainable since she came here now, but still, even accepting the position of a maid made Lereza feel like she wasn't doing anything worthwhile to support Davis, her master.

It made her pout as she stared at Illumina.

"Alright, there's no time to waste." Myria took over, "Tia and Andiron, I'll leave this mini-realm's karmic defense in your care. We will head out right now and, if possible, relay information later as we search for a suitable place for Fiora to undergo her tribulation. If not, we can do it here and execute Plan C."

"Understood." Tia nodded her head.

Andiron also cupped his hands and bowed, "I will do my best, Fairy Myria."

Myria nodded before she finally headed out with Vereina, Illumina, and Lereza.

The four of them exited the mini-realm and appeared in a narrow pathway of what seemed to be a cave.

They knew where they were since Davis took the time to choose a dangerous yet safe location, dangerous for others and safe for them. Hence, he chose one of the danger zones in the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm, Hollow Fang Caverns.

It was a network of caves, a labyrinth, so to speak. It was home to many different types of magical beasts, mostly insects, wolves, and serpents, known for their stealth and ferocity. Most of them were also darkness-attributed magical beasts. The deeper one moves here, the more disorienting the spatial distortions become in addition to the yin treasures found here.

It was a danger zone that attracted many cultivators. It was known as the Hollow Fang Caverns.

However, after one incident, it seemed to have closed over two hundred thousand years ago.

But luck would have it that Stella was able to open this danger zone with her spatial abilities.

With that, they decided to settle here.

Over five thousand kilometers from this labyrinth was the Hollow Fang Town. It was a bustling city back then because of the Hollow Fang Caverns, but now, it is only a town, its population dwindling year after year. Right now, the population is no less than two million people.

That barely counted as a town in the true immortal world.

Myria and the others arrived in this town. No one suspected that they came from the Hollow Fangs Cavern because the road was also connected to other towns far away. They purely assumed that they came from other towns.

They paid the toll and entered, finding an inn to work some things out before they headed out half a day later.
