Epic of Ice Dragon: Reborn As An Ice Dragon With A System
Chapter 2102 - 2102: Benladra Heals The Humans—–
“This is the Clinic Area,” he explained to us. “Can you heal from a distance or should I…?”
“It’s magic so it’s easy to heal from a distance,” I said. “Right Benladra?”
“Yeah!” she nodded. “I’ll start… Hmm, ah! No injuries I cannot heal. Some people had just died too… I can revive them as long as they haven’t died for too many hours.”
“Y-You can revive people?!” he gasped, as Benladra didn’t even stop to nod at him, waving her hands as her aura erupted, spreading everywhere and rapidly beginning to do as she said.
FLUOOOSH!
The wave of light rapidly sparkled everywhere, the show of light made the children nearby smile in wander and chase the sparkles, while even those that were afraid slowly felt… calmer.
Those that had recently died slowly opened their eyes, as life was breathed into their bodies, and those that had lost limbs, were in comas, or were heavily wounded, or even sick with diseases from this world, quickly were healed instantly.
Their limbs regrew, wounds healed without even leaving scars, and any symptoms of rare diseases also disappeared immediately.
This was Benladra’s Healing Light Wave, a basic Divine Healing Spell.
When we get wounded a spell of this caliber isn’t enough to heal us properly though, but for mortals, it’s more than enough to even revive them.
“I-I’m fine?”
“My arms are back!”
“My leg!”
“I was… wasn’t I sick?”
“Huh? Mom?”
“My son?! You’re alive?!”
The cries of people waking up from their comas, of celebrating as their limbs regrew, as they healed from strange diseases, and even from those that woke up from their deaths reverberated everywhere.
Fear quickly turned into awe and shock, and then gratitude and disbelief, followed by smiles and tears of happiness… these people that had faced such terrible adversities were finally having smiling.
“That giant girl… isn’t she a savior?”
“What sort of power can revive people…?”
“She’s god… no, a messenger of god? Perhaps an angel? Look at her wings!”
“So angels have blue skin? Wait, that doesn’t matter! I’m not being racist or something…”
“She’s the holy spirit!”
“Maybe she’s an Archangel… Archangel Gabriel? Michael?”
“God bless you…!”
“As an atheist I simply believe she used psychic powers to heal everyone… and I am very grateful too…”
“Mama! Papa is fine! His legs grew up! Did the girl do it?”
“Yes she did! She’s a miracle! Our savior! A messiah!”
“Has she come to save us from the punishments of hell?”
Yeah Texas had a lot of religious people, it makes sense a lot of them identify my daughter as something close to God.
I don’t really mind myself; I wasn’t religious in my previous life, but I had nothing against those that were, it just was never my thing.
And well, like that, my daughter became a Savior of Humanity.
People asked her name, cheered for her, and quickly started asking us questions, while growing closer to us once they believed our good intentions.
Of course, there were also those skeptical, saying that this must be some trick or a trap, that it was simply too good to be true, and I couldn’t blame them for thinking that it must be really crazy for them in their perspective.
But that didn’t mean it wasn’t real, and that my daughter’s efforts were some kind of trick… it made me slightly mad, but I held back my anger, they were defenseless people, they were bound to think this, they were being consumed by nothing but fear after all.
Eventually, we left the shelter after leaving a lot of food and clothes behind, which I created using my Breath of Creation, which brought even more wonder to people, calling us Gods, Messengers of God, Archangels, Messiahs, and more.
The Sergeant was naturally joyous and so were all the soldiers, some of them were still crying as well, I guess this was a very moving scene for everyone.
“I hope that with that, we are more trusted,” I said.
“Of course… of course…” the Sergeant muttered. “You will… that was incredible, the people… everyone was moved. Your daughter is incredible!”
“Hehehe, really?” Benladra giggled, she was feeling really amazing after there were so many people praising her.
“Indeed! There’s a private area where I’m living with a few others, would you like to come there to spend the night? it’s getting quite late now. Your family and friends are also invited, you’re our honorable guests,” he said.
“Oh? Well… is it night already?” I looked outside, realizing that indeed it was getting dark. “Huh, it really is getting dark, I guess a lot has happened today…”
“Indeed…” the Sergeant said. “The people will never forget you either…”
“And they’ll never forget me even more once they see their houses and buildings reconstructed and them being able to finally return home,” I smiled, looking into the distance, hundreds of flying drones made by Kate were constantly repairing the buildings.
Once everyone was allowed to enter the area, my whole family was allowed inside the huge building where the Sergeant and his various other members of the military base of similar rank to him were living, there were several vacant rooms for us, so we were able to accommodate ourselves quite easily.
“Fancy place you’ve got here old man,” laughed Yuki, running around the large corridor her appearance bringing the eyes of many.
“Hey, Yuki, be more respectful, he invited us, we’re his guests,” Pekora said angrily.
“Hahah! Well I sure never thought we would get warmly welcomed in such a place when we moved to Svartalfheim…” Tisha laughed.
“Me neither… this goes against all my expectations,” Charlotte suddenly talked. “But I guess… with how the world is doing, I should’ve guessed something crazy would happen eventually.”
My children were also running around curiously… Benladra, Kate, and Drakda inspected the floors and the rooms in here, and everything too.
They all felt like they were alien and strange to them, and the soldiers walking around were surprised, some screamed when they saw them, but were quickly told about everything and calmed down, although still filled with fear in their eyes.
Eventually we moved to a large hall that was beautifully decorated with paintings, fine furniture, and more, resembling a noble house rather than a military base room, and there, a large table awaited us, with food that had been already prepared and ready to eat.
