Chapter 2135: A New Disciple

“Huh? I’m fully healed again… even my divine power and mana is back?!”

She looked back at me with surprise, as I winked at her.

“Don’t be such a grumpy girl, I got your back, just like Jord here does too.”

“Amethyst…”

“Jord!”

Amethyst smiled, feeling happy to finally see her again after hours of fighting.

“I was wrong…”

“What?”

“It was because of my own ways of raising you that you became this way… I spoiled you, I never let you mourn your mother properly, even less to let all those negative emotions inside of you…”

“Jord…”

“Drake has opened my eyes, he had shown me that I was wrong in many things… but even then, I still want to help you, and I want to avenge your mother with you, and fight by your side.”

“Not as some sort of mother and adoptive daughter anymore, but as comrades, right?” I asked.

Both girls looked at me and then nodded.

“Yeah…” Jord smiled. “I always saw you as someone I had to protect but… I now understand that such a mindset was detrimental to the two of us.”

“Really?” Amethyst asked.

“Yes, I should’ve tried to grow stronger by your side, to train with you, rather than be worried all the time…” Jord sighed. “I felt so much guilt over your mother’s death, that I ended forcing myself to act this way… to replace your mother, when I should have never tried doing such a stupid thing.”

“No… I mean… if it wasn’t for you I don’t know what it would have been of me…” Amethyst sighed, looking back at me, getting slightly angry, and then looking back at Jord.

Then she closed her eyes and sighed, letting out smoke from her nostrils, crossing her arms and then…

“I’m sorry…”

“Eh?”

“Oh?!”

I was shocked! She even said “I’m sorry!”, I was about to clap right there, but I contained myself.

“W-Why are you smiling you creepy old man?!” Amethyst groaned at me.

“Creepy?!” I cried. “Old man?! Hey I’m actually younger than you!”

“Oh really? Well you act like an old man!” she said angrily, glancing at the boiling magma below. “Hmph… so you’re training me or what?!”

“Hahaha!” I laughed again. “Yes, of course! In fact, maybe you didn’t realize, but you’ve been training this entire time, Amethyst.”

“Huh?” she looked at her own body for a moment, feeling an immense quantity of divine power surging from within.

Not just that though, as her muscles had become denser and more flexible, and her scales were now much tougher as well.

“I do feel stronger… stronger than I ever felt when fighting monsters for years… What the hell? How?!” she asked in disbelief. “We barely fought for an hour…”

“An hour? Looks like when you get mad you lose notion of time,” I laughed. “Amethyst, we’ve been fighting for over seven hours by now.”

WHAT?!” she screamed in disbelief. “N-No way! What the hell?! Ugh…! No wonder I feel so sore all over even when you healed me…!”

“But you grew stronger and that’s what matters,” I said with a nod. “Now it’s time for you to take your well-deserved break. You’re probably starving too, right?”

“I… yeah,” she groaned as her stomach was rumbling. “So when do we start training though? And what do I even do now? I… I was so loss back then…”

“The plan is simple,” I said. “We’ll train you within my Divine Realm, there’s everything necessary for that inside of here. At the same time, through Fuyu, we’ll move to our next destination, a hideout where a friend of mine is. I am worried about her and the rest of her friends. After that we’ll see where Umbral is located or attacking and put a stop to him. We may visit the Vanagate Kingdom, as a friend of mine, Charlotte, belongs to that place.”

“You’ve got everything planned, huh?” Amethyst crossed her arms. “Alright then… Ugh… I guess I’ll leave it up to you… as much as it makes me angry… this is the only way…”

“I’m glad you learned,” I said. “Alright then, let’s go to my castle then.”

We quickly flew towards the skies from where we were, and then into the castle… however, Amethyst found it too big for her to fit.

I quickly turned into my Dragonoid Form and extended my hand towards her.

“Amethyst, have you ever taken a Dragonoid Form? Do you not know the Polymorph Spell?” I asked her.

“I…” Amethyst seemed to be struggling to give me an answer.

“She does.” Jord interrumpted her words, as she smiled at Amethyst.

“Jord!” she cried. “W-What are you talking about?! I clearly can’t…”

“How many times have we had this conversation Amethyst? You clearly can do it,” Jord sighed. “You simply don’t want to because you’re embarrassed of your form.”

“Well if I could turn into anything I wanted it would be easy, like you said the spell would do but why do I look like that?!” Amethyst asked angrily.

“I would say it makes you look your age,” Jord smiled, crossing her arms.

“Haha, whatever your appearance is, it doesn’t matter Amethyst,” I said. “Come on, you’re going to miss a wonderful dinner if you don’t come… can you smell it? My Cooking Spirits have already started cooking it! Lots of divine beast meat too, of the highest quality as well. I bet you haven’t had some of that in a while.”

“Uuhh…” Amethyst swallowed saliva nervously, looking down at the floor and then closing her eyes. “Ok but don’t laugh…”

After closing her eyes, she suddenly released an explosion of golden light, as her entire body turned into smoke… revealing her much smaller Dragonoid form.

As the smoke dissipated, I saw her…

She had clear brown skin, which had a beautiful sheen to it, her iridescent crystal scales covered her arms, legs, and a few areas around her neck and chest.

She has large wings, a tail, and horns made of such crystals, with long blonde hair, and rainbow eyes.

I would be lying if I said she looked “average”.

This girl was dazzling!

How can she be ashamed of her appearance?
