Alex’s bed was brought to the sunlight by someone, where he was made to lie and rest. He had to argue in a language they could not speak for him to make them do that.
Outside, he would be willing to rest so he could look and learn from the tribe. Before he could do anything else that was urgent to him, he needed to do one thing.
Alex needed to understand these people.
It was interesting to finally meet a group of people that did not speak the same language as everyone else. He had met people whose written language was something else, but speech was always the same in any world.
Except it seemed to be different here.
It was quite an interesting situation because it pointed to something that was common in every other world but did not seem to be present in this world.
