Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong

Gregg forced himself to stand up, intending to head back into battle. However, before he could take two steps, he was stopped by Ariel Watson.
“Sir Asher, please assist Sir Gregg to the secret chamber to rest, I will go out and take a look.”
With a casual wave of Ariel’s hand, two Tier 5 Alchemy Puppets, pitch-black and exuding immense power, appeared out of nowhere, guarding Ariel on either side.
Once Asher respectfully took the order and left, Ariel swiftly flew out, soon arriving at the castle gate.
Through the secret passage of the castle, she ventured outside, and upon reaching the courtyard of the castle, she was utterly stunned by the scene before her.
Under the hazy moonlight, the courtyard was shrouded in smoke, shadowy figures clashed, and the radiance of spells intertwined with the cold glint of weapons, signaling a fierce battle was underway.
The thick scent of blood hit her face, with fresh blood flowing through the cracks of the slate road, reflecting the scattered corpses of guardians.
Amid the deafening battle cries, Ariel noticed further.
Just as Gregg had said, on both sides of the deadly clash, the soldiers, donned in identical silver armor, were all from the Imperial Guard Legion.
However, the soldiers fiercely assaulting the courtyard were all sporting an eerie golden glow in their eyes, their strange golden pupils flickering, which was highly conspicuous even under their fully enclosed battle helmets.
“Your Majesty the Queen, what in the world is happening?”
Asher, who arrived shortly after, looked at the scene before him, almost unable to believe his own eyes.
“The soldiers of the Imperial Guard Legion are all noble scions and retainers, each one known for their unwavering loyalty. By my guess, those Golden Pupil Soldiers must be under some sort of spiritual control.”
Ariel’s starry eyes shone brightly, carefully surveying the battlefield’s enemy and ally situation.
Despite having nearly the same strength, the Golden Pupil Soldiers clearly possessed more formidable combat power, akin to puppets unafraid of death and pain.
No, they are puppets; Ariel witnessed firsthand a Golden Pupil Soldier with half its head sheared off still charging at our soldiers, almost akin to dead spirits.
“But I just checked, and all the formations in the court are functioning normally, capable of blocking all spiritual control spells and illusion techniques. How are they managing to control these soldiers?”
Asher’s eyes were full of astonishment as he murmured to himself, “And even the mightiest master cannot control such a number of soldiers mentally; this is utterly beyond belief.”
“Sir Asher, now is not the time to dwell on such things. First, let’s bring the normal guardians back to Lion Castle. With the castle’s sturdy barrier, we can at least buy ourselves time to investigate the cause, preventing unnecessary casualties; these soldiers have pledged their loyalty to me.”
The crown on Ariel’s forehead gleamed brightly, and she nodded slightly, saying, “Let’s begin our action.”
With that, the two Tier 5 Alchemy Puppets by Ariel’s side plunged into the battle like heavy bombs; wherever they went, all the frenzied attacking Golden Pupil Soldiers were either knocked out or fell to the ground, struggling to get up.
“It’s Her Majesty the Queen, Her Majesty the Queen has returned!”
Seeing Ariel’s slender yet imposing figure, the struggling soldiers of the Imperial Guard Legion were reinvigorated, starting to retreat orderly back into Lion Castle under Asher’s command.
In no time, under the mighty offensive of the two overwhelming Tier 5 Alchemy Puppets, the situation was soon under control, and as our soldiers were about to complete their retreat,
Ariel suddenly realized something, becoming extremely tense, and said to Asher, “Sir Asher, I’ll leave this to you; I have more important matters to attend to!”
Without waiting for Asher to reply, Ariel left a few newly summoned Tier 4 Sacred Lion Puppets to assist in defense and flew away with the two Tier 5 Alchemy Puppets.
Ariel headed to the nearest Magic Tower from Lion Castle; each Magic Tower within Coldflame Palace is crucial to supporting the Absolute Defense Barrier.
Should a certain number of Magic Towers be destroyed, the vast court would be entirely exposed under the enemy’s eyes, with consequences easily imaginable.
Sure enough, when the dusty Ariel arrived near the Magic Tower, she found the offense here even more intense than that at Lion Castle.
Around the tall Magic Tower, flames soared into the sky, and the sounds of battle cries and screams echoed relentlessly.
“So Lion Castle was a feint, and the enemy’s goal is indeed to shatter the Absolute Defense Barrier!”
Ariel thought no further, immediately commanding the two Alchemy Puppets into the battle.
However, just after resolving the crisis at this Magic Tower, barely having a moment to catch her breath, while standing in the open, she could clearly see.
Other Magic Towers within the court also billowed with smoke, with some tower tops already collapsed, leaving only half of the tower bodies emitting thick smoke.
Seeing this scene, a chilling dread surged through Ariel’s mind along her spine.
Faced with such a scale of offense, the young Queen of Coldflame City appeared overwhelmed, momentarily unsure where to start.
But it was certain that once the Absolute Defense Barrier was breached, external enemies would pour into the court unimpeded.
Once the court was fully compromised, our soldiers positioned all over would undoubtedly suffer a severe blow to their morale, then, we might never have a chance to recover.
