Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong
Chapter 1988: 1117: Shocking Change on the BattlefieldChapter 1988: Chapter 1117: Shocking Change on the Battlefield
“Hehe, there’s no need to be surprised, Holy Knight Commander, this is merely one form of the Holy Light’s Blessing.”
Scot squinted his old eyes slightly, looking around contentedly at the guardian soldiers in their Black Fog forms, resembling walking corpses. He smiled and said, “During the duration of the spell, these soldiers will be in an invincible state that cannot be defeated by any means, not even spatial magic can draw them into the Void Space.”
“In this way, as soon as those summoned ancient entities step into this area, they will be subjected to indiscriminate fierce attacks, enough to annihilate any Tier 5 Powerhouse.”
Gently stroking his beard, Scot added, “They’re just fulfilling their duty to guard the Saint King better, right?”
“And what happens once the spell’s duration ends?”
Jered felt the dense death energy constantly sweeping over and questioned further.
Yet, from his grief-stricken expression, it was clear he already knew the answer.
“The sacred path to the Holy Light naturally accompanies death.”
Scot remained nonchalant, saying softly, “Does the Holy Knight Commander not understand this point?”
“That’s not holy light magic at all!”
Jered clenched his fists and growled, “These brave knights will swear loyalty to His Majesty the Saint King in their own way, rather than being turned into evil monsters! You’re defiling their loyalty and faith…”
“Enough! Holy Knight Commander!”
Before Jered could finish, William’s old face turned stern, and he snorted coldly, “The fact I haven’t turned you into one of them is the Lonely King’s last mercy; just keep your mouth shut and wait to see those Coldflame weaklings walk into their trap!”
“As His Grace, the Archbishop, said, the sacred path to the Light inevitably involves sacrifice. They are simply fighting for the Holy Light.”
Saying this, William’s old face contorted again, and he laughed heartily, “Even with 20 Tier 5 Powerhouses, none will find a grave against the Lonely King’s strongest Undying Guard Legion with its strength multiplied!”
As William’s arrogant words fell.
Our side’s main champions, led by the King of Valor Saul, Lion Roar King Alfred, and Taylor and others, were already riding the chaotic waves of Grim soldiers, breaking into the enemy’s final defense line.
Sure enough, just as they disengaged from these strange Black Fog soldiers, our champions’ offensive halted abruptly.
All the champions were shocked to find that these Black Fog Soldiers not only attacked with madness but were immune to all physical and magic attacks, and getting close would inexplicably drain internal energy, making them extremely peculiar.
For a moment, these zombie-like, swaying, and fierce Black Fog Soldiers were like an insurmountable eerie wall. Even magic system champions attempting to cross from the air would be intercepted by the Black Fog Magicians emitting vibrating Black Wings.
The Black Fog Soldiers surrounded the Dark Golden Magic Tower so tightly that our champions couldn’t even use teleportation magic to get close, unable to open up a new path at all.
“Damn it, we’re practically within reach of that Dark Golden Magic Tower, what’s with these creatures?”
Alfred, full of anxiety, swung his giant axe as if swinging at air, unable to inflict any harm on the mad Black Fog Soldiers closing in.
In contrast, the reckless and brazen attacks of the enemies landed solidly on Alfred’s giant axe, leaving the Lion Roar King rather embarrassed for a moment.
“Fire Scourge!”
Not far behind Alfred, Sage King Ebner, with his Flame Robe billowing, had finished his incantation. With a wave of his staff wreathed in flames, a dense burst of flame light erupted a hundred yards ahead, the boiling heatwaves making it almost impossible to keep one’s eyes open.
Yet, even so, the Black Fog Soldiers continued unhindered, without losing an ounce of their vigor.
In just a moment, the unstoppable flames were completely consumed by the surrounding black mist, as if they were never there.
“Holy Light Storm!”
At the center of the group, Holy Maiden Queen Sofia’s holy spell was complete.
From the Sacred Staff she wielded, a dazzling storm of holy brilliance instantly took shape, howling toward the enemy’s formation.
But the effect of this Holy Light Storm was similar to the previous blaze, initially impressive but quickly swallowed by the endless black mist, leaving not a scratch on the Black Fog Soldiers.
“Not only do normal physical and magic attacks, but even holy magic that counters the darkness has no effect?”
Ariel Watson looked at the dense cluster of Black Fog Soldiers, feeling as though the air, already filled with bloodshed, had almost stopped flowing, making it hard to breathe.
“Hehe, this is the Supreme Lord’s ancient spell ‘Death Fog Legion’; no one can defeat these invincible soldiers blessed with the power of the deities!”
Scot’s old face was full of contempt and unbridled expression, as he gently stroked his gray beard.
“Truly worthy of the Supreme Lord, just a few personally crafted magical scrolls can push those despicable Otherworld scum into a corner!”
