“Master, this is my true form now… Is it not hideous?” the Snake Queen asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper, as an inexplicable unease flickered across her face.

In this form, she truly resembled a monster.

Whenever she sat alone by the lakeside at night, gazing at her reflection in the water, she felt fear.

Terror, and even more so, anxiety.

[How could a form be so ugly? Perhaps, as the legend said, ‘The Medusa Clan was originally a race of monsters.’]

But just then…

*Whoosh…* Like a gentle breeze, Snake Queen suddenly felt a cool sensation wash over her body.

Looking up, she noticed a branch, glowing faintly with green light, gently brushing her snake-like hair.

“It’s just appearance; there’s no such thing as ugly or beautiful… For beings like us, what’s far more important is power.” As he spoke, Yu Zi Yu’s branch unfurled, revealing a few crystalline droplets shaped like tears.

“What is this?”

“These are the Mermaid Tears, a sacred item. I’m not sure if they can suppress your curse.” With that, Yu Zi Yu handed the few droplets of Mermaid Tears to Snake Queen.

However, before she could even express her gratitude, Yu Zi Yu continued, “For now, focus on honing your strength. Only with strength will you have status and a voice of your own. In the blink of an eye, she had transformed into a ball of light, shooting straight into the depths of the dark clouds.

Though the Azure Dragon had merged with the Nine Realms, it still retained its physical form. It resided in the deepest part of the Nine Realms, a mysterious space known as the ‘Realm of Origins.’

This was the central core of the Nine Realms. There, the Azure Dragon could not only better harmonize with the Nine Realms but also easily monitor its movements.

Now, being led by the Azure Dragon to that mysterious place marked an extraordinary fortune for Snake Queen. As a matter of fact, the current strength of the Azure Dragon was fearsomely terrifying.

At the very least, even with the combined strength of Yu Zi Yu’s True Body and the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon’s titanic form, they would hesitate to claim victory against it.

Anchored to the Nine Realms, the Azure Dragon grew stronger as the Nine Realms did.

Unless the Nine Realms were to shatter, the Azure Dragon could not be truly defeated—at worst, it would only be forced into slumber.
