Chapter 1468: Hugo’s regret!

The following day,

After getting out of bed, I started doing the morning routine. Then I exited the room and went to the mana chamber to practice.

When I arrived there, I saw someone was already inside. I looked at the person. Upon sensing my arrival, he turned towards me.

Then I saw his face. He is none other than the Level-9 Wizard Hugo. My heart turned cold. I can’t go outside. I thought of practising peacefully inside the Silver Tower.

Fortunately, the room didn’t suffer any damage. They can withstand the attack from the Supreme Wizards.

The mana chamber room closed automatically.

Then I turned on the function. A dense pure mana started to fill the room. I went to the centre of the platform and sat cross-legged on the ground.

Then I closed my eyes and started to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

“Level-9 Wizard Hugo was injured,” she utters in disbelief.

She understood that someone had attacked him. That’s why he was injured badly. Then she starts playing the footage backwards.

She wants to know who attacked the level-9 Wizard inside the mana chamber training room. It’s against the rules. The wizard will face serious punishment.

When the video starts playing, it shows footage for a few minutes of early age.

She saw Vincent Carey entering the mana chamber. But the level-9 Wizard Hugo, who was already inside, seemed to be waiting for someone.

Then she watches the next scene where the level-9 Wizard Hugo confronts Vincent Carey. There were some heated exchanges.

Seeing that Lara turned on the audio function. She was then able to listen to their conversation. Her expression filled with disbelief. Then it became anger.

She didn’t expect a level-9 Wizard to seek trouble with Vincent Carey. She should have known this. Especially when she knew they had a confrontation before.

The footage continues to play. Then she saw something unbelievable.

The Level-9 Wizard Hugo blocked the path. He is stopping Vincent Carey from opening the mana chamber.

Her heart turned cold. She knew Lord Charlotte had made the announcement possible to protect Vincent Carey.

And here someone is troubling Vincent Carey inside the Silver Tower. If Lord Charlotte were to know she would scold her for sure.

The footage continues to play. Then she saw the same thing happening again. She is feeling nervous. Then something happens.

She saw Vincent Carey doing something. It was an instant casting magic spell. The next second, the level-9 Wizard was struck hard by something.

His body flattened on the ground the next moment.

Lara’s eyes filled with disbelief and shock. She then saw Vincent Carey casually walking over Hugo’s body to enter the mana chamber. It was unbelievable.
