Chapter 1606: Twins Stars Haoyu and Lingyu (Official)

After working a full, productive day at the recording studio, Iris Long said goodbye to Enrique Valdez, JJ, the musicians, and the other staff members. She left the studio with Dom and her team of bodyguards.

Waiting at the indoor parking lot was an extra vehicle.

Dom wiggled his eyebrows before opening the car door. And indeed, Iris saw her husband sitting in the back passenger seat. She climbed inside and was immediately pulled into her husband's warm embrace.

"See you later, Boss, Sir Boss!" Dom saluted them before riding the van behind.

"Let's go," Jin Liwei instructed the driver.

The car started moving.

Iris could see the van and the other vehicles following behind them. There was also another vehicle in front. She knew that they were bodyguards.

Jin Liwei began asking about her day. She answered before asking about his day, too.

After giving a brief answer, he pulled a package from his other side and handed it to her.

"What's this?" she asked.

"Open it," he said.

She gave him a side-eye. "Don't tell me you're gifting me another company? Liwei, I already have my hands full. If I want another company, I'll create it myself or buy based on my own preferences."

A chuckle sounded from his mouth. "Don't worry, love. It's not a company. I promise not to gift you a company anymore without asking for your opinion first."

She gave him a longer side-eye. "You already promised. You can't break it."

"En, I won't."

"I wonder what this is," she murmured while opening the box and pulling its contents out.

There were quite a few things inside but the first thing that she saw made her gasp and her eyes widen.

"Are these authentic?" she asked while looking at her husband in excitement.

"En." Jin Liwei nodded. "I just received the package in my office this morning."

In her hands were certificates officially naming a couple of binary stars after her sons, Haoyu and Lingyu. It also included the name of Grandpa Lu's astronomer friend as the first person who discovered the twin stars. As promised back in Paris, the old astronomer indeed went ahead and named the stars after the Jin twins as his first meeting present.

Iris handed the certificates to her husband and checked the other contents.

There was a lovely framed star map showing the exact locations of the binary stars. She touched the stars and became increasingly excited upon seeing the names of her sons printed on the map.

There was also a confirmation letter. Iris skimmed it before quickly handing it to her husband. She couldn't wait to see everything included in the package.

There was a custom brochure. The quality was evident in its hardcover and thick, glossy pages. The brochure showcased information about the binary stars, from their discovery by Grandpa Lu's astronomer friend, their properties, location, distance from Earth, and significance in the galaxy.

Iris read the brochure from front to back. She was so quick the first time around that she read it more slowly the second time. If it weren't for Jin Liwei taking out the other contents of the box, she would want to read the brochure a third time. Although she already memorized everything in the brochure, she still wanted to read it again and again.

Happiness filled her heart as she saw her sons' names printed on the brochure. She felt prouder of them than her own accomplishments.

Imagine, actual, existing stars named after her sons!!!

The husband and wife examined the other things included in the package.

In addition to the confirmation letter, certificates, star map, and brochure, there was also a huge atlas poster displaying other stars and constellations near the binary stars. They couldn't fully open it inside the car because it was too big.

"Let's frame this," Iris said.

"En."

There were also two real telescopes. They were the size of her forearm. Not too big or long, but the attached information claimed that the telescopes could help them view the stars in the sky.

Iris felt skeptical as she weighed one of the telescopes. "I think these telescopes can only view the nearest stars."

Jin Liwei agreed with her. "I'll buy a better telescope that we can use to view our sons' twin stars."

She hugged his arm and gave him a quick peck on the mouth. "Thank you, darling."

Satisfied with her kiss, Jin Liwei didn't tell her that he was now planning to build an astronomy room not only to contain a powerful, industry-grade telescope but also to house everything included in this package. He also planned on asking his assistant, Xu Tian, to gather whatever additional information was available about the binary stars named after his sons. He wanted to showcase all of them in his family's future astronomy room.

His sons wouldn't be able to appreciate it now that they were still young, but it was enough to make his wife happy. In the future, when the twins had grown up, he hoped that they would be able to appreciate the fact that a pair of actual stars had been named after them.

There were also other things included in the package. There were two solid gold star trophy-like ornaments engraved with the names Haoyu and Lingyu.

Seeing these, Iris' eyes couldn't help but water.

She had won multiple trophies from important awards, but these two star ornaments felt like the best trophies that she had ever held. If only she had a tail, it would be sticking up from pride.

Iris fished out her phone and took several photos of the gold star ornaments, the certificates, and the star map. Then she sent it to her brother-in-law, Jin Chonglin. Her message said:

"Look, your nephews are actual stars! They'll forever remain in the history, no, science books!"

In the northern part of the country, the superstar Jin Chonglin fought his body's instinct to shiver while he posed in front of the camera while sitting on a pile of snow.
