"You lost," Henmu's sharp voice swept through the enemy whose strength was the strongest here. Her voice was like a trigger to the sharp arrows lodged within his body.

The man grunted, then puked a mouthful amount of blood, "A gamble… has been lost," He said.

Another blood fell out of his mouth like a waterfall.

This man was from a red scale race who were known under Salamandra name. Their home was on one of the ascended floors, so they weren't any cheap opponents at all.

Many people and elves had fallen to their flames.

Now, those scorched as highly as possible to extinguish Henmu's arrows and applied techniques off its body.

However, he had been regularly getting weakened by the elves and so he was unable to go further.

More and more blood slipped outside from his mouth, lips and ears… His eyes soon dwelled with the red liquid as well and the death was the last step that soon stomped on his body.

Before he disappeared, Henmu asked, "Gamble? What do you mean by that?"

The man just faintly curled up his lips, "The Grooma Kingdom is already half-way gone. Its lands continue to change and more and more people turn into devilish monsters."

"..." Henmu's eyes narrowed, her heart beating a little faster.

"It means that any other ascended kingdom can fall as easily! The Grooma Kingdom's catastrophe was the trigger that let out all other beasts that had been held by a thin rope of uncertainty!" These were his last words.

The man hit the red gigantic hand with his forehead, then the hand began to react violently. As if another life appeared within this unknown thing, the hand let out tremendous amount of steam, then disappeared somewhere.

"It broke through the Forest Pond's law?!" The elven leader exclaimed in shock, then her feet stomped on the ground.

The dead man, the red gigantic hand and some other dead bodies all disappeared back to the home while the lesser and weaker people became the trophies for all Henmu's allies.

The lady sighed and looked around at the Forest Pond that became the battlefield. Its beautiful lake was unstained which was their great achievement, but it's shore and nature were stained with weapons and blood.

A lot of domains created with various heritages had been still crumbling afar, but there was not so small gathering around a certain wooden house.

People, no matter what race, gathered around it. They held plates with soup and bread, enjoying it highly even though it looked like a normal meal.

They also felt secure even if the house's didn't exude any powerful ability.

Henmu looked at her elven soldiers, then decided to check this wooden house with great curiosity in her eyes.

-

Kyoya had been feeling great.

Many people had come to see them and thank for the help. His party helped a lot of people and they genuinely thanked him since he was the leader.

His wife also shared meal with everyone and the house was kinda in a merry mood despite the battlefield surrounding them.

This was also great because all those people would help Kyoya protect his house in case someone strong appear.

But as Kyoya peeked through the window, he instantly spotted the elven beauty with black hair approaching their house.

It was Henmu and she looked even scarier with the blood and tattered clothes.

Kyoya called out Xaya, then both of them stood at the main doors.

"Everyone! Please, listen to me," Henmu raised her hand. Her voice alone gathered all attention, though. "Thank you for your help. Your assistance greatly weakened the enemy and I can assure you that there are no longer any threats hidden in the Forest Pond. Our lake also hadn't been stained, so people who had come here for its grace shouldn't be lost… As for your losses, we elves will pray to our goddess to mourn. For whole month, we will remember their help and loss."

There was no reaction to these words, but just glances from everyone. A little later, some people began to cry, but it was so quiet that only those close to them could hear those cries.

Nothing more could be done and Henmu just waited for any questions before coming closer to the husband.

Since no one felt like speaking, Henmu approached Kyoya relatively fast, "It's you… Thanks for that…" The house, the meals and that atmosphere that was merry just a few minutes earlier…

People were just happy to survive. They were happy that they could taste something nice and it allowed them to forget about the losses.

Henmu's eyes peeked into Kyoya's and she said, "At least you haven't lost anyone…"

"I know that you have lost your people too, Henmu…" Kyoya raised his eyes and the lady faintly nodded, "Come inside… You can let it all here… As for other elves…"

"I will pass them soup, the husband," Xaya replied.

Kyoya brightly smiled, then took the elven lady into his house. It didn't stand out, but Henmu felt really nice here and her heart got appeased already. Though it was not that much since the losses were big on her side, Henmu could sit down and finally rest.

She smelled the soup's nice aroma and other various smells that put her at ease.

"Thanks for your help, Henmu," Kyoya also sat down, then said the words Henmu told everyone else.

She also needed those and though not much reaction could be seen on her, Kyoya felt like it helped her greatly.

The husband soon got joined by Hana who had been in the house all this time. Since Josef and Maria looked already healthy, she took the seat next to the husband, then struck the table with her elbows, her face resting on her hands.

She looked at the elven leader who used to be really strict and strong, "Enjoy your meal," Hana said and kept her eyes on Henmu who had an unusual aura around her…

The elven lady glanced at her, then her eyes turned to Kyoya, "You have unusual aura that attracts various people… I understand it a little more now," Henmu's lips widened a litltle, then she took another portion of her soup.

Hana straightened her posture and glanced at the husband instead, "Oh!" She went wide and then smirked, "I have a question for you! So I will be honest with you, okay? That's what I like the most."

"Just say it…" Henmu shook her head faintly.

"Haha! So I would like to get some nice wood from you! We already planned to sneak into your elven palace and have a meeting with the queen or princess! I feel like you should understand why I sound so confident!"

Henmu understood now, "But sneaking to the elven queen? Do you really believe you could?"

"I mean… If the guards were some women, then we would have more than fifty percent of success, right, Kyoya?" Hana was all smiles and she was so sure of this that Henmu just let out more hearty laughter.

Even though she understood the husband's charm now, she still felt like it would be impossible against guards and the elven queen herself.

"If you want that wood, then just come with me later to the palace," Henmu promised to assist them both.

Hana instantly raised V-sign at Kyoya and he himself just raised his hand to stroke her hair as the mood surely turned for better.
