With the Immortal Treasures Pavillion unwilling to help, they had no choice but to travel on their swords to the Main Guanxuan Academy. The journey would be long, but they had no choice.
Just as they were about to leave Qingzhou, Ye Guan suddenly stopped.
Yue Qi stared at him and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Sect Master Yue, why is it they haven't made a single move against us yet?"
Yue Qi's brows furrowed.
"They're waiting for us to leave Qingzhou," Ye Guan said softly.
Yue Qi met his gaze and firmly replied, "There are a hundred Sword Sect disciples here. I don't think they are daring enough to attack us."
Ye Guan looked at her, saying nothing.
Yue Qi's face darkened as the realization dawned on her.
Standing beside her, Yu Ning's voice was cold. "Would they truly be insane enough to slaughter a hundred swordsmen?"Ye Guan turned, staring out into the silent depths of the starry sky.
"No matter what happens," Yue Qi suddenly said, "we will protect you with all our might."
Ye Guan looked at her.
Yue Qi added, "This isn't just about justice. You're one of us, a disciple of the Sword Sect. That means it's my duty to protect you. I'd do the same for any of my disciples."
A complex light flashed through Ye Guan's eyes. In his heart, he murmured, "Little Pagoda, so there are still those who live by their principles; there are still those who try their best to mend this broken world…"
Little Pagoda asked, "Are you sure they'll attack the Sword Sect?"
"If Yue Qi and the others truly risk their lives for me, then they won't hesitate to kill them."
Little Pagoda fell silent, lost in thought.
Ye Guan's gaze turned steely as he stared into the starry skies.
"Do you have a plan? If not, follow my lead, and we'll escort you to the Main Guanxuan Academy," Yue Qi said, interrupting his thoughts.
Ye Guan met her eyes and shook his head. "We're going back to the Sword Sect."
"Back to the Sword Sect?" Yue Qi asked with a frown.
"We'll bring Aunt Jiao and Yian to the Sword Sect. If we leave now, they'll definitely make their move. But at the Sword Sect, they'll have to think twice. The sect's defenses and the Academy Master's statue will make them wary."
Yue Qi glanced at him and nodded. "We'll do as you say."
The group quickly changed directions.
Little Pagoda spoke in Ye Guan's mind, "You don't want the swordsmen to make unnecessary sacrifices."
"Not just them—Aunt Jiao and Yian, too. If we leave, they might get kidnapped."
Little Pagoda was quiet for a moment before asking, "So, what will you do?"
Ye Guan's eyes narrowed. "I want to see if they truly think they can cover the skies with one hand."
There were two figures staring at Ye Guan and his companions from the starry skies up above. They were none other than "Zong Wu" and Academy Chief Zhu Qiu.
Zhu Qiu frowned and asked, "Did they notice us?"
"Zong Wu" chuckled, "Do they think returning to the Sword Sect will save them?"
Zhu Qiu's expression darkened, "It's best not to act in Qingzhou, especially not within the Sword Sect. This matter is too big, and it will surely draw the Guanxuan Committee's attention. By then, things will become very tricky."
"Zong Wu" gazed into the distance. "That young man must die, and we'll also deal with that stubborn Sect Master Yue."
"You..." Zhu Qiu's brows furrowed slightly.
"Academy Chief Zhu, you only need to watch," "Zong Wu" turned and looked to the side. "Place Qingzhou under lockdown. No one is to enter and leave without explicit permission from our clan."
From the darkness, a voice echoed. "Understood."
Soon, dozens of powerful and mysterious auras rushed out of the starry sky.
Zhu Qiu fell silent at the terrifying power of the auras.

Soon, the group was back at the Sword Sect, where Yue Qi immediately activated the sect's protection arrays and ordered the disciples to get ready to defend the sect.
Meanwhile, the Qingzhou Guanxuan Academy was calm, and it seemed as if nothing had changed at all.
In the Sword Sect's grand hall, Ye Guan turned to Yue Qi and said, "Sect Master Yue, can you gather all of the sect's Sword Emperors?"
Yue Qi looked at him, then relayed the command. Shortly after, thirty-two swordsmen stood before Ye Guan, awaiting his words.
Looking at each of them, Ye Guan said, "You're all aware of the situation. Our goal is to hold out until the Main Guanxuan Academy arrives here with reinforcements."
Yu Ning glanced at him. "Will they send help?"
"They will."
Ye Guan believed that this matter was too significant for them to ignore.
Yu Ning's eyes darkened. "And if they send someone who's on their side instead?"
"Then the Main Guanxuan Academy doesn't deserve to exist," Ye Guan said coldly.
His words left everyone stunned.
Yue Qi glanced at him but remained silent.
"I can't say how strong our enemies' forces will be, but they'll definitely attack us before the main academy's reinforcements are here. Thus, I want to teach you a sword formation. Don't ask where it's from; just focus on learning it."
The Sword Sect disciples looked at one another. Then, they looked at Yue Qi for reassurance. They trusted Yue Qi, not Ye Guan.
Yue Qi met Ye Guan's eyes and nodded. "Trust him."
"I will teach you the Stellar Sword Array."
With that, Ye Guan pointed at them, sending beams of white light into the foreheads of each swordsman. The swordsmen closed their eyes, and their faces grew tense as they absorbed the stream of information.
Their expressions shifted from the initial shock to deep focus.
"I've simplified the formation, and the power you can wield will depend on your own abilities," said Ye Guan before turning to Yu Ning. "Lady Yu Ning, I need your help with something."
"What is it?"
Ye Guan thought carefully, "The only one who can break their blockade is the Immortal Treasures Pavilion. Although their manager, Liu Zhong, has sided with our enemies, his subordinates have their own channels and authority.
"The Immortal Treasures Pavilion has an internal communications network. Can you reach out to those subordinates? Tell them to send news of our predicament to the Main Sword Sect."
"Are you sure?"
Ye Guan confirmed, "Liu Zhong knows just how powerful our enemies are, but his subordinates are not aware of it. Additionally, those subordinates have their own ambitions.
"Once Liu Zhong is gone, they might be able to take his seat. Tell them that the Sword Sect will owe them a favor as well."
Yu Ning's brows knitted as she asked, "And if they refuse to help us?"
"Then the Immortal Treasures Pavilion has rotted to the core," Ye Guan said coldly.
Yu Ning stared deeply at Ye Guan before leaving to carry out his request.
Yue Qi finally asked, "What about me? What do you want me? to do"
Ye Guan considered her for a moment, "Sect Master Yue, would you like to learn a sword technique?"
Yue Qi's eyes sharpened. "What technique?"
Ye Guan replied with a smile, "It's related to time."
Yi Nian had taught him the intricacies of spacetime manipulation. At the moment, he was the only one capable of executing a sword technique containing the intricacies of spacetime.
Yue Qi's curiosity deepened as Ye Guan sent a beam of information directly into her sea of consciousness. She stood still, absorbing the details, and her expression grew tense with each passing moment.
When she opened her eyes, she studied him closely, "Just who are you?"
Ye Guan shook his head. "I can't tell you. Not yet."
"You're not an alien, are you?" asked Yue Qi with a stern voice. There were many aliens these days, so Yue Qi suspected that Ye Yang was perhaps one of them.
"Of all people, I'm the least likely to be an alien," said Ye Guan with a light smile. Then, he added, "I believe in the Academy Master."
Yue Qi seemed satisfied with his answer and said no more.
Ye Guan focused on instructing Yue Qi and the other swordsmen. With his guidance and their natural talent, the thirty-two disciples quickly grasped the basics of the Stellar Sword Array.
As for Yue Qi, she learned the sword technique so quickly that it left Ye Guan impressed. Her talent in swordsmanship was truly remarkable.

Aside from Liu Zhong, the Immortal Treasures Pavillion of Qingzhou actually had several other managers. Each manager had the authority to submit confidential reports directly to higher-ups without needing the general manager's approval.
This arrangement was made so that the general manager wouldn't be able to monopolize all the power in the pavilion.
Yu Ning sought out one of the managers, a man named Zhou Yu. Yu Ning had her own reasons for choosing him.
When the previous general manager of the Immortal Treasures Pavilion of Qingzhou was transferred out, Deputy Manager Zhou Yu was expected to assume the role, but an outsider was somehow appointed to the position.
Zhou Yu hadn't been able to do anything about that at all.
Inside a secret chamber, Zhou Yu looked at Yu Ning and said, "Lady Yu Ning, I know you came to see me because of my bad blood with that dog Liu Zhong, but let me be frank here—Liu Zhong got his position through his connections, but he's no fool.
"Since he dares to provoke your Sword Sect, his backers must be formidable. I'd love to dig up his ancestors and spit on them, but I don't want to die as well."
"Would you like to know why our Sword Sect is determined to protect that young swordsman?"
"Isn't it just—well, is it because you're stubb—?" Zhou Yu quickly stopped himself. The Sword Sect disciples were famous for their stubbornness, after all.
Yu Ning calmly asked, "Do you really think that's the only reason?"
Zhou Yu's tone grew serious as he asked, "What are you trying to say, Lady Yu Ning?"
"With the intelligence network of the Immortal Treasures Pavilion, you know that he fought a cultivator with ten percent divinity despite being an Immortal Realm cultivator, right?"
"Did that really happen?" Zhou Yu asked. He had seen the reports, but it sounded too far-fetched for him to believe.
Yu Ning nodded. "It's true."
Zhou Yu looked at her, silent.
Yu Ning knew that she had to drop a bombshell to make an impression, so she steeled herself and said, "Have you heard of his name? It's Ye Yang. And Ye Yang means…"
"Yang Ye?!" Zhou Yu shot to his feet, and he looked as if he had gone mad as he exclaimed, "The name of the legendary Sword Master Qingshan is Yang Ye! He can't possibly be here, and the Academy Master's surname is Ye…
"No, he must be the Academy Master traveling incognito! Damn, that explains everything! Who else can fight a cultivator with ten percent divinity at the Immortal Realm? Only the Academy Master can be that monstrous!"
Zhou Yu slapped his thigh in excitement and roared, "My ancestors have blessed me! This is truly the opportunity of a lifetime!"
Yu Ning fell silent. She was going to say that Ye Yang was the Academy Master's disciple, but Zhou Yu had made his own assumptions, resulting in a bigger misunderstanding.
