I’m tired from the Expo today, so today’s chapter will be short.

The live performance resumed, and in between, I also spun the garapon to receive presents. Honestly, assuming I were to receive presents from everyone in the venue, it feels like there’s still a significant number left. I might need to pick up the pace a bit.

……Actually, can I even manage to receive them all? It feels like quite a bit of time has already passed since the event started, and even though I don’t have to worry about the time when I go back, staying at the party the entire time would get tiring.

Will the people who didn’t get picked by the raffle just give me their presents all at once later? But that feels a bit rude too……

(There’s no problem. That aspect has already been discussed, and we’ve prepared countermeasures.)

Shiro-san? Ahh, so you’d already anticipated a scenario where things would take too long. So, what kind of countermeasures are we talking about here……? Don’t tell me we’re going to have a second birthday day or something?

(That suggestion was actually brought up. Just like during Hydra Kingdom’s Founding Festival, there was a proposal where only Kaito-san would repeat the event several times to receive presents from everyone, and then all the versions would be merged with their memories intact.)

Honestly, I’m glad that idea stayed in the proposal stage. Repeating the same party twice would ruin any surprises, and I wouldn’t even know how to react.

Trying to recreate the same emotional feeling I had during the cake song performance in a parallel birthday party would just be impossible……

(So instead, after this live performance, we’ll have a short event, followed by what we’re calling Super Present Time.)

(Yes. For a very short duration, we’ll create parallel worlds. While only about 10 minutes pass here, Kaito will go through each parallel world to receive gifts from everyone, one at a time. Once finished, we’ll transfer the memories of the gift-givers back to their original selves. That way, no matter how many people are left, everything can be wrapped up smoothly. All the gifts received in the parallel worlds will automatically be stored in Kaito’s magic box.)

……I see…… So that’s how you’re handling it…… Well, yeah, if I’m the only one spending a lot of time, then it doesn’t keep everyone else waiting.

And since it’s not the entire party being repeated, just multiple iterations of 10-minute segments, I wouldn’t be experiencing the same event over and over…… If I’m going to receive gifts from everyone properly, this might really be the best way to do it.

W- Well, I mean, it does sound pretty rough for me…… but since everyone went out of their way to prepare gifts, I want to receive them in person, so I’ve got no complaints.
