Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3727: Death and Prophecy I

Chapter 3727: Death and Prophecy I

A rising Mythic True Signature from a Primarch of Complexity and Purity.

Noah's eyes- twin amalgamations of blue flame, flashed as he stared at it, without any intention of facing it directly.

There was something he understood well- the law of diminishing returns.

It stated that beyond a certain point, pouring in more effort or energy would result in smaller, less meaningful gains.

Take a mage, for example, one who channels vast energy to amplify a spell. Initially, each surge of mana doubles the spell's power. But then comes the drop-off. Push further, and the returns slow. No matter how much mana is forced through, the spell's increase in strength becomes minimal, dulled by the existential resistance it encounters.

Right now, Noah knew that he was hitting that point.

The enemies before him weren't just powerful. They were already soaked in the essence of the very things he had fought for, benefited from, and evolved through.

Eluriah. The Sixth Mawbearer of the Hollow Concord of Nullity. Both Primarchs. Both entangled in his weavings and selected as enemies!

And something that was undeniably true...was that he wasn't complex enough yet. Not to kill them.

They had already become saturated with the benefits of what he possessed, and so long as that was true, he couldn't gain anything more from them. They had been marked by his True Severed Adaptive Power of Existence, and there was nothing left to claim at this moment.

So why linger?

Remaining here would only draw chaos and other uncertain factors with even more diminishing returns. Especially now that Primarch Eluriah Veilnox had arrived!

She, too, had been marked.

Her presence alone increased his rate of progression, if only slightly.

And yet, like the others, she could not be killed. Not now.

Even the terrifying boon of Ember Eternum, as potent as it was, only allowed him to withstand their devastating Existential Dimensional Lattices. It didn't give him the power to win.

But it gave him something else.

A clean escape.

So that was exactly what he would do.

Because if he could just leave, just gain a short window to sit down and elevate his Complexity, then in a week, or in a month, he could find all those here.

While stronger!

Primarch Eluriah Veilnox. Primarch Vaethrava, the Withering Sealroot. Melodrass...the entirety of the Hollow Concord of Nullity!

He would be able to face them all!

And then, the returns would no longer be diminished. Then, they'd matter.

So now, while Melodrass and the other Dead Things watched on with silent menace and the Mythic True Signature bloomed, Noah turned to them and spoke, his voice cool, almost casual.

"Melodrass. Veltraxis. Let the rest of the Hollow Concord of Nullity know that because of you, I'll be coming for them. You all think yourselves untouchable, cloaked in shadows and clinging to echoes of death..."

…!

Even in the face of a Primarch's rising power, Noah's tone remained steady. Firm. Unshaken!

"But I see you. I know you. And now, I've marked you. I'm coming for your Weavings of Existence themselves as there will be no resurrection and no return. Just true death. Permanent. Final. Absolute. Remember that as you stalk the Nullvein Gravewake Folds… because your Weavings will end when I enter your Witherhollow Dominions."

BOOM!

The moment he said the name, Witherhollow Dominions, Melodrass and Veltraxis stiffened. So did the other Mawbearers.

He knew.

He had learned their region. He had mapped their shadows by killing their Harmonized Sourcebound Icons and gaining their records!

And now he used that knowledge not to gloat, but to threaten. To promise!

To burrow into their minds.

He needed them focused on him. Watching. Wondering. Obsessing over where he might appear next.

Because fear was a form of entanglement, and it would make finding them easier later.

After he said this...

|You really think I'm fucking around?!|

HUUM!

A bellow from Primarch Eluriah Veilnox echoed as a towering, violet Mythic True Signature fully unfurled. Power rippled across dimensions. Noah watched her carefully. He studied her weavings, her True Source, and committed them to memory so he could recreate them one day.

Then he nodded once.

"You're not getting your key," he said, eyes locked on hers. "But thank you for dragging me into the Chronosect of Threadbound Folds. Let the other Time Sentinels know—I'll be coming for their blood too. And those you claim are more powerful than you? Maybe they're nervous because they saw this coming. Because they knew you'd do something stupid... like make me your enemy."

WAA!

He mocked her.

Even he couldn't understand why beings stronger than Primarchs might tremble.

But that was a question for later.

For now...

PAH!

He stepped forward, fire blooming underfoot, his entire form wrapped in brilliant flame.

He began to disappear.

Eluriah's hand rose high, fury pouring from her, as purple-black folds surged down, trying to trap him in an Existential Dimensional Lattice.

But...

"Ember Eternum cannot be contained. Till we meet again, Primarch Eluriah."

…!

The instant his foot left the ground, he vanished.

BOOM!

"NO!"

Her roar tore through the skies. The ravines trembled with its echo.

He had vanished. Vanished completely.

And that shouldn't have been possible!

A being like Osmont, so newly complex, shouldn't be able to escape her!

With her mastery of Complexity and Purity, she should have been able to seal him ten times over!

But she hadn't.

He was gone.

Her eyes flared, rage boiling in their depths, as she turned slowly toward the others.

They stared in disbelief.

The True Favored Living Thing… had escaped. While a Primarch was present.

It was supposed to be impossible.

Veltraxis and Melodrass both stood frozen. But Melodrass, especially, was panicked. Because another body of Noah still existed elsewhere, also wrapped in blue flame, its chest and eyes spinning with terrifying blue wheels as it struggled under the grip of Primarch Vaethrava.

Would he escape there too?

The possibility was unthinkable.

And yet… it was very real.

Melodrass sent a frantic warning across the decaying Wheel to Vaethrava.

But before anything could be done...

Eluriah turned to them.

And her rage needed a target.

Melodrass stepped forward, voice booming.

"RUN!"

HUUM!

Immense power exploded outward.

Sound. Death. Rewritten reality.

Because Eluriah's wrath descended not from her physical body, but from another form- rewritten through the Weavings of the Witness.

Her main body?

Already gone- already plunging into the Transitioning Wheel of Existence, tracking her prey.

|OSMONT!|

Her cry carried through the Frequencies.

But she would not find him.

Not yet.

Inside the transformation Wheel, Noah stood beside Ruination and the Infiniverse Megalos Body.

And they watched.

They absorbed.

They understood.

Because what was happening now, the shattering of a Wheel, the rewriting of a domain, held a complexity that defied reason.

A truth only those observing could understand!
