“Zoe, do you think it will work this time?”
“We’ll have to see that, big brother.”
Since it has been a few days since we summoned Anna’s Pappy, all of us had retired back to our usual training schedules with a lot of improvements.
“The framework and preliminary testing suggested that there’s no problems with it, however, we will only know well after we activate the device.”
Anna now had access to the hidden potential and the vast Arcanum that was stored inside of her.
Through Pappy, she could at least use that power and manifest them in a way that resembled the Mana materialisation of the mages.
She did not have to use the string form of the energy since she possessed Arcanum of a high purity so we were going to focus on the particle state of the energy so that she can use the least amount for the most optimum effects.
‘We have started with her training already, and since she was training harder than ever right now, the rest of us were also focusing on the things that we needed to improve on.’
The days weren’t yet monotonous, but we will soon start experiencing the stagnancy. It is true not just for the elders who aren’t improving as quickly as us younger ones, but also for the rest of us as well.
Training and reading and doping with available high grade materials was a possible way to get stronger, but that was not the only thing that contributed to one’s growth– in our case, practical experience beyond the fights with the well made artificial creations was a necessity.
At least for elder Aunt Mime who was on the verge of breaking through to the realm of an elder, she needed a practical battle against something that was strong and inspiring enough for her to create her own [Aspect of magic].
‘We have used up a good amount of time that we had here, but now that we have finished the most important things, we should focus on the polishing.’
I needed to increase my Solnova level by opening up the next gate, Rein needed to completely grasp the Truth of [{(Vision)}] to completely grasp her eye powers, president and Cradle were improving well on their own and should be much stronger than they are right now through just the experiences that they are having here, and the rest of them are doing well under the supervision of the elders as well.
‘Seeing grandpa’s new side interested in all the unique technology that wasn’t traditional and the way he used all of them to train Carla, Alf, Chry, and the rest of them was pretty fun to watch.’
The approach was different from what my master usually took with me, it was still a little more gentle in comparison, but it was working.
‘It was far more effective than any other training methods that he had seen throughout his life so he genuinely wanted to take this technology back home to train the Knights of Heliox.’
But that wasn’t going to be possible for the time being.

Since this tower is nothing less than a one of a kind divine treasure, just the information about the rings that can bring people here will put us in a complicated situation.
‘I am inevitably going to go against the world, but it is not the time yet.’
The way is inevitable, but is not on the horizon yet. We still have to prepare a lot, we still have to fortify everything around us, and we still have to overcome the weaknesses that we have, solidifying the independence that we wish to be part of one day.
‘All of this might seem like out of the blue useless thoughts, but this is what has been going on in my head constantly for a while now.’
I cannot stop thinking about the consequences of my own actions. Feeling anxious about a future that I do not know is pointless, but worrying about a potentially dark future is not foolish.
It is preparation for tomorrow, and I am not going to stop this preparation until the horns of the new war are blown. Or… until the time to go against the world arrives through a spark caused by the very society that I adore and despise at the same time.
“Alright, let’s start.” For now, my training was a secondary thing though. While I was looking after a lot of things right now, the most important thing that Zoe and I were up to since a few days ago, is definitely the [GATE] that’s going to be our exit.
“Alright, big brother.”
The room was filled with all kinds of artifact right now.
The ground floor with the gate that was usually empty, was not covered with all kinds of small artifacts that looked similar yet unique at the same time.
‘We were using something similar to the tech we used for the creation of Lifeblood.’
There were scattered parts of a single great structure. They were going to connect the energy channel instead of being something like a reflector. And though there were many of them, they weren’t the main artifact that will help us get below this ground level.
“We need a high energy concentration to break the Space-time barrier. We have to make the resonance on point this time.”
We have filed a few times in the last few days.
The connection net created with the similar looking energy channels was placed perfectly but there were just too many elements to this process.
‘The process itself wasn’t as difficult as the creation of Lifeblood nor was it as complicated as the targeted summoning we performed.’
The ground floor had a floor below it as well and there was a certain way to get there. There existed a gate according to the book that the master left for Zoe, however, the way to get to that gate was not really simple.
We needed to do this quickly, we did not have years to dedicate behind complicated puzzles, lengthy processes nor something even close to a structured approach to the problem.
‘While it was risky, there was another way to get down there, and we were trying out just that– breaking the space between the ground floor and the place below to create something like a ‘hole’ in the ground.’
We have created the droplets that will channel the power required, we have created the resonator that will synchronise with the spatial symphony of the floor’s structure, and then we will miraculously break it with a calculated impact.
‘To do that, we have created a Lokomotive.’
A physical artifact that will create an energy structure to interfere with space.
“Beginning the final trial.”

The lokomotive is like a hammer that will hit the space with like a hammer, the surrounding artifacts that will focus the harmonious energies is like the nail that will become the pointed, limited end.
The ground is going to be the wood– or rather the thin sheet of cloth– and the rest of the room is going to act as a suppressor.
‘We don’t want to create a wormhole or anything dangerous like that. We just want a hole in the ground– it sounds inappropriate for some reason, but that is what we are after.’
After going down, we are going to look for the core of the tower. If we get there, we should be able to power the structure that Zoe has already finished over the existing Gate.
What we find there is unknown to us for now, but there is something down there and we both know that for a fact.

The energy source should be one of it, and along with it there should be something more, perhaps.
‘We’ll only know when we go down there.’
[{ “Anna’s saying you’re doing something without telling her once again.” }]
Rein was there, so there shouldn’t be anything too big happening for the two of us to worry too much about.
Quin and she can handle Anna for a few hours– we should be back in less than a day so I hope we can have dinner together.
[{ “Tell her we’ll be back soon. If I can, I’ll bring her some kind of a gift as well.” }]
Who knows what we’ll find down there anyway, so there should certainly be some good things that she would like.

The process was completed and as soon as a hole was created on the ground, even before the two of us could jump in, we were sucked inside as if some kind of powerful force had pulled us inside.
‘It… was strange…’
I did not feel any kind of gravitational pull, we did not feel like we were falling, we almost vanished but, it also wasn’t exactly vanishing.
Things were pretty strange over there. It was more complicated than I can explain, but I know one thing.
