Chapter 1525 The 12th Revolution (I)

[AN: The title of True Human Emperor has already been used. What Wang Wei meant in the previous chapter is the position of Sage Emperor.]

—-

'The Sage Emperor Position is all about doing good deeds and improving the world for the better. Then, what about Ying Zheng's path?' Wang Wei thought. The Human, Earth, and Heaven Karmic Position is divided into four tiers. Lesser for one Heaven Will World, Minor for the entire lower dimension, Greater for a normal Chaos World, and True for Source Chaos Worlds.

The Sage Emperor Position is the transcendent tier level of the Human Emperor Path, meaning there should be another position for the Earth and Heavenly Emperor spot as well.

'Ying Zheng's path is about getting the [True Tier] of these positions, understanding their essence, and using them for himself. The Path of Human can help him condense a Soul Quintessence, and the Path of Earth can condense his Flesh Quintessence as he uses the power of death to transcend his flesh from the mundane. Lastly, the Path of Heaven can help him condense his Dao Quintessence as he gains access to all the laws of Heaven and Earth.'

Ying Zheng's path is an alternative path outside of Grand Dao's rules, which will make things interesting in how the latter will try to restrict Ying Zheng. Wang Wei wanted to rejoice about Ying Zheng's future struggle, but he couldn't. He realized the latter had once again become more dangerous.

Wang Wei's previous deduction was that Ying Zheng needed all three positions just to condense his Soul Quintessence. But now, he realized the latter's path was a complete one that reached all the way to the Third Step. 'As soon as he learns the name of the Quintessence Realm, he'll know how precious his path is and figure it out.'

Wang Wei frowned. He still believed his wife would be the first transcendent of the Eternal Ascension World, but he did not like how close Ying Zheng kept coming. 'I really need to put him in his place,' he thought. Wang Wei could upgrade his title to the tier of True Human Emperor after saving the Eternal Ascension World from the Seven Moons and Supreme Unity's grasp. He hasn't done so because Heavenly Dao is being petty. According to the rules, he did not need to manually do it as the title would be handed to him after his achievements. However, now, he needed a tedious ceremony for the upgrade.

'I already have a third-rank Golden Body of Merit, and with the Human Emperor Position, maybe, I can use Ying Zheng's [Path of Human] to increase my odds of entering the Soul Quintessence Realm,' Wang Wei analyzed. He had the Soul Quintessence technique, but he could also increase his odds with another path.

'Better yet, it may increase my strength in that realm if I used more than one path of condensing my Soul Quintessence.' Regardless of the future potential or just to mess with Ying Zheng, Wang Wei had no argument not to try this approach. So, he put that as one of his tasks for the future.

Wang Wei had finished with his deduction, meaning it was time for his cultivation. However, he did not immediately start but used rare resources to condense a clone. According to the laws of Heaven and Earth, most cloning techniques decrease the productivity of cultivating. Grand Dao created those rules to probably prevent people from abusing the method for their cultivation.

However, as usual, the rule is not absolute. Some powerful and unique clones can be used, but they always have some restrictions, mostly only the person who creates them can use them without limits, or the resources required are astronomical. Wang Wei usually did not need to use such a thing, but he had a feeling that time was in a hurry, so he used it.

Wang Wei tasked the clone to refine an artifact for him using the Karma Jinx Ore. He had a plan on how to act from the shadows during the catastrophe, and this ore will become crucial in the plan. So, once that was dealt with, he focused on cultivating.

He had plenty of Tier 12 Fiendgod bloodline to study, whether from Wu Hong or his sect. While Li Ming was obsessed with battle, Wang Chong's passion was body refining, which meant he had plenty of materials from Fiendgods, which were considered the epitome of body refiners. Of course, Wang Wei found this statement to be one of Grand Dao's greatest propaganda considering the second True Transcendent of this universe was a human body refiner.

Without hesitation, Wang Wei started to comprehend the secrets of the Tier 12 Fiendgod Bloodline. The first secret he discovered was the bloodline's ability to remove flaws. It's rare for a Fiendgod's flesh to have any flaws from the Gate of Flesh Tribulation, as their bloodline will slowly remove these flaws.

This ability made sense since humans and other races can also slowly cultivate to remove these flaws. However, Fiendgods had mastered this ability since their bloodline meant they could only grow slowly, and the process would be completed automatically.

'Their bloodline is so potent at removing flaws because of its ability to perfect itself using the Primordial Chaos Will,' Wang Wei concluded. This revelation should have been a problem for him because the Wang Clan's Human Fiendgod bloodline was flawed. When Wang Wei modified it, he replaced Primordial Chaos with [Nothingness], but not everyone could face such an entity without dying.

He planned to add the ability to condense the physical manifestation of whatever characteristic the clan members used. For example, if someone uses [immortal flame] as their characteristic, they could summon the manifestation of all immortal flames as the source of their bloodline and condense something like Immortal Flame Will to replace the Primordial Will.

Wang Wei did not have the ability yet and planned to wait until later. However, it seemed someone had finished what he started. 'It should be the work of Wang Chong and Qiyuan,' he thought. As he observed the clan's bloodline source, he detected the Dao of Origin on top of his Power of Nothingness.

The Wang Clan members can access the origin of whatever characteristics they use and summon the physical manifestation. For example, someone with an Immortal Flame characteristic would summon the [Origin of Immortal Flame] to replace Primordial Chaos. Wang Wei even saw someone had perfected his method of condensing other wills to replace Fiengods's Primordial Will.

'That makes my job easier,' Wang Wei thought before starting the modification. He knew enough about perfection to add it to their bloodline core to give the clan the same ability as Fiendgods to remove their flaws. The following step was to improve on previously existing abilities, like the passive increase of strength that allowed people born with a Tier 12 bloodline to reach the Paragon Realm.

Of course, Wang Wei went further and wanted a Tier 12 bloodline that reached the Elder Fiendgod Ten Heaven. However, even Fiendgod's bloodline does not guarantee reaching such a realm. After becoming Elder Fiendgods, the members of the race are also limited by their bloodline and must actively cultivate to reach higher levels.

'So, this is the limit of the bloodline?' Wang Wei muttered. Tier 12 is the dividing line. People with better concentration of blood can reach the peak, but others with weaker talents probably won't survive opening the Gate of Flesh.

'Bi Longsheng was right: I should be using Chaos Demon Gods as the source,' Wang Wei thought. His plan was always to use the best, and since Fiendgods were the most readily available, he had to use them. He did not dwell on this for too long and focused on the task at hand.

'How can I break this bloodline limit or reduce its effect?' Wang Wei thought. He wanted his clan to reach the peak, or at the very least, increase the probability. After pondering briefly, Wang Wei had an answer. What was the major difference between humans and Fiendgods?

'We are born weak,' Wang Wei answered. The human race had to rise to the occasion to be able to compete with those top races, meaning they never had to rely only on their bloodline.

'In that case, I'll reduce the passive growth ability of the bloodline in exchange for more potential,' Wang Wei thought. The Wang Clan might take twice as long to grow from Fiendgods, but their ceiling will be much higher. Additionally, it's only passive growth, not taking into account active cultivation and struggle.

'A double growth time seems too small,' Wang Wei thought. He contemplated for a while, calculating that a ten times difference was the optimal number. The Human Fiendgod Bloodline will reach its optimized state in terms of potential, while the slow growth will not be so outrageous that it's detrimental.

Of course, the Wang Clan won't accept such slow growth, meaning its members would have to work ten times harder than Fiendgods from now in the future for the same growth rate.

'Let's use five times,' Wang Wei ultimately decided.
