Chapter 18 Interview

In the Lakeside Neighborhood.

While studying the phone. Kevin suddenly heard a sound of the door opening.

"Who?"

Ada and Aden came in with a lot of vegetables and fruits in their hands.

"Young master, you are awake." Ada asked enthusiastically.

"Hmm? Didn't you leave?" Kevin looked at them doubtfully.

"No, we went to buy vegetables. I'm going to make a big meal for you this noon." Ada said politely.

"What? I give you freedom now, but you're not leaving."

"Young master. Ada and I have decided to stay." Aden smiled.

Kevin beckoned to them. "Good, come here and teach me how to use the phone."

"Ah." Ada was stunned for a moment and then taught Kevin enthusiastically.

At this moment, in a certain building in London.

A middle—aged man was sitting in his luxury office when an old man in his sixties walked in.

"Edward." The old man shouted.

"Uncle Lewis, did you find out who attacked Sally last month?" Edward asked.

"No, it's probably not easy. By the way, the candidates for bodyguard are all available. We can interview them at 2 pm." Uncle Lewis reported.

Edward nodded and asked. "Who are they?"

Uncle Lewis said. "The first candidate is Ben who is very strong. His master is one of the top ten assassins in the world. Were it not for the relationship between your father and his mentor. he definitely wouldn't come to protect Miss Sally. Your father wishes Bento become Miss Sally's personal bodyguard."

Edward smiled. "My father really cares for his granddaughter."

Uncle Lewis continued. "The second one is Carl that Commander Clinton recommends. With your relationship with Commander Clinton, he naturally won't find anyone bad for you. I heard that Carl is a strong soldier who has carried out countless deadly missions, so he is also qualified to be Miss's personal bodyguard."

"What else?"

"The third is Larry, the son of Tim Blake from the Dragon Gang. Tim likes this son best and Larry applies to be Miss's bodyguard voluntarily. Tim is the deputy leader of the Dragon Gang that we'd better treat Larry well. After all, there are few people in London who dare to offend the Dragon Gang."

Edward frowned and looked a little irritated. "What else?"

"The fourth is Andrew that the headmaster of St. Paul School recommended. Andrew is also qualified since his martial arts ranks tenth in the school."

"That's all?"

Uncle Lewis smiled. "The driver Uncle Duke also recommends one."

"Uncle Duke? Hah hah. I'm just joking with him. He should take it seriously." Edward smiled speechlessly. With his network of friends, why would he really ask a driver to find a bodyguard?

Uncle Lewis said, "Uncle Duke recommends a person called Kevin who is also from the St. Paul School. But he seems not to be one of the geniuses of the school."

At this moment. Edward's phone rang.

"Hello, Sally." Edward said kindly.

"Dad. I heard that you're going to interview my bodyguards this afternoon, aren't you?"

"Sally, don't worry. Daddy will definitely find someone who can protect you. The thing happened last time will never happen again."

"Dad. you can never hire the one called Kevin."

"Why?"

"Dad, this Kevin is a hooligan. He took Uncle Duke's phone this morning and called me to deliberately take advantage of me."

"Uh."

"Alright, that's it."

Edward smiled speechlessly and said. "Uncle Lewis, then ask Kevin not to come for the interview. After all, Uncle Duke's horizons are limited."

"Edward, Uncle Duke probably has already notified Kevin. Is it ruthless to ask him not to come? Anyway, the result will be the same. But if we ask Kevin not to come, Uncle Duke will feel embarrassed. After all, Uncle Duke has worked for you for 20 years." Edward said. "Alright, for Uncle Duke's sake, let Kevin go for the interview.

However, he will never be hired."

"Alright."

In the Lakeside Neighborhood. Ada and Aden personally cooked a big meal for Kevin.

"Young master, is it delicious?" Aden asked.

"Good. It tastes better than the food in the restaurant which is greasy and makes my stomach a little uncomfortable. I don't know what's wrong."

Aden said. "Young master, you must have eaten gutter oil." Aden secretly laughed. "A overmatch like young master will also get sick by eating gutter oil. The gutter oil is indeed powerful."

Ada said, "You like it, then I cook for you every day, okay?"

Kevin vigilantly asked. "You suddenly treat me so well, do you still want my body?"

"Young master, what are you talking about? Your martial arts is so good that I'm willing to be your servant this time." Adablushed.

Aden asked. "By the way, young master, are you the person who did that burglary in the early morning?"

"Don't ask so much. Alright, thank you for the lunch. I still have an interview this afternoon, so I'm going to take a nap."

At one o'clock in the afternoon. Kevin received Uncle Duke's phone call.

"Hello." Kevin picked it up.

"Senior, go downstairs. I take you to the company for the interview."

"Alright. I'll be right down."

Kevin went to the bathroom to tidy himself up and then walked downstairs.

"Senior." Uncle Duke hurriedly opened the door for Kevin and they left the neighborhood.

"Who is the woman that called me at noon? Why did she call me Uncle Duke? She is very polite but a little fierce." Kevin said.

Uncle Duke smiled bitterly, "She is Miss Sally. She is calling me Uncle Duke since my family name is also Duke. You can also call me this way."
