Chapter 4612 Angry Throw

The silver wolf, its eyes blazing with fury, hissed and growled, "Do not lay a hand on them!"

"Hahaha! And why should I not?" the Old Mountain Demon sneered, his gaze filled with malice. "Because they are the offspring of Ghost Doctor Feng Jiu? Where is she? Why does she not appear? Even if I slaughter her children before her very eyes, what can she possibly do?"

Hao'er, trapped within the formation, clenched his fists, his anger reaching a boiling point. He yearned to tear the man apart, but his strength was insufficient, even to contend with the sect's dignitaries.

As he watched the two men drag the bound Muchen and Muyue forward, Hao'er took a deep breath and shouted, "Wait!"

His usually stoic face was taut with tension as he addressed the Old Mountain Demon. "I will command the Silver Wolf to recall the wolves. I, and the Silver Wolf, will accompany you. In exchange, you will release my siblings and the guard."

The Old Mountain Demon narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing Hao'er without uttering a word.

"Do you not desire my contracted beast?" Hao'er continued, his eyes fixed on the man. "The Silver Wolf is a Super Sacred Beast. If you release my siblings and their escorts, I will sever my contract with it, allowing you to forge a new one." He paused, then added, "You should understand that Super Sacred Beasts are exceedingly rare. Without my voluntary release, you will never tame the Silver Wolf and form a contract."

The silver wolf turned its attention to Hao'er, its gaze questioning.

Hao'er, maintaining eye contact, conveyed his intentions through spiritual awareness. For now, they needed to buy time and ensure Muchen and Muyue's safety. They would devise a plan once the children were out of harm's way.

The silver wolf, understanding the situation, glanced at the magical artifact that held it captive. It recognized the futility of resistance for the moment. This was their only option.

The Old Mountain Demon, his gaze shifting between the four-year-old children, curled his lips into a bloodthirsty grin. "Release them? Hah! Do you take me for a fool? Do you not know the saying, 'to release a tiger back into the mountains'? These two brats, barely four years old, managed to wound two of my Black Mountain Gate masters. If I allow them to live, I will be sowing the seeds of our own destruction."

He fixed his malevolent gaze on Hao'er. "You will sever your contract with the Silver Wolf, whether you desire it or not. Otherwise, I will break the limbs of these two children before your very eyes, then dismember them and feed them to the wolves! As for the rest of their bodies..."

His eerie voice dripped with cruelty and bloodlust. He reached out, lifting Muyue by her collar, bringing her close to his face, inhaling her scent. "A primordial spirit body," he mused, "soaked in medicinal wine, it would make a potent tonic."

"You dare!" Hao'er's eyes burned with rage as he strained against his bonds, attempting to break free. But the immortal rope and the barrier held him fast.

"You dare eat me? My Father and Mother will never let you!" Muyue's young voice was filled with fury, her beautiful eyes glaring at him. Her small body dangled helplessly, preventing her from kicking him. In her fury, she spat directly into his face.

"You are seeking death!" A being of his stature, a powerful Celestial level, had been spat upon by a mere child. His killing intent surged. He raised her high above his head, preparing to slam her onto the ground.
