Chapter 4393: Violet Field

Step!

I stepped out of my abode, directly in front of the violet field. Now, all I have to do is take a single step, and I will enter the field.

I have made preparations based on the data, but I will need to be careful.

It was based on data from the sensors; my armor didn’t experience it. So, I need to be ready to get out immediately if I sense something wrong.

Seeing that, I pushed my thoughts away and took a deep breath, before stepping into the violet field, before my mind could think more.

The moment I stepped inside, I felt the pressure.

These violet energies interact with the environment in such a way that they increase the pressure. The pressure is immense, such that people other than the Prime couldn’t want to be comfortable in it.

I thought about the pressure for a moment, as it’s not a big deal, before focusing on the most important thing.

I looked at my armor and saw how it interacted with the violet energy. For a moment, I was scared, but relief soon flooded my heart.

The energy is pushing against my armor, but it is feeling that same counterforce, balancing it.

The reason people cannot stay here more is because this energy pushes to enter inside the armor. This pushing power increases gradually, as more energy gathers, until it breaches inside.

Once they do, hell breaks loose.

It is heavily advised. One should get out before that happens. Once this energy enters one, it makes things difficult and painful.

I have no desire to bring this energy inside my armor until I am really sure.

It is why I plan to make myself invisible to the energy. If able to manage that. I would be able to roam in this place for hours and days.

My clones have already started working as they observe the energy through my armor.

I took the step forward, while the waves of inheritance energy mixed with the forbidden energy spread out of me. It is a poor substitute for the soul sense, but the only one I have.

This violet energy is extremely reactive toward the soul sense.

I had put some of my soul power in the ball yesterday, and when it was released. Things happen that make me shudder even now when I think about it.

So, I am not going to bring out even a speck of it, unless I am really sure.

"Let’s move," I said a minute later and took a step forward.

This energy makes it hard to see far, and even the substitute would let me sense only around a mile of distance. That range would shrink as I go deeper into the energy.

Soon, I crossed over a hundred meters, and I stopped, and a string came out of me.

A few seconds passed, and it brought out a rusty blue nugget from the ground. It is one of the nuts that the balls had sensed, and I am excavating it.

It is first on the list, I am planning on searching in this place.

A few minutes later, I took out another nugget and then another. When I stopped at the fourth one, there was a smile on my face, as my string brought it out.

It made me most happy, not because it is the biggest or purest, but because it is my method, instead of balls.

The energy waves are not only a sensory method, but also a metal detection method, and it is working.

Through it, I had sensed all the nuggets that the ball had discovered and those that they hadn’t.

Minutes passed, and I collected nugget after nugget while I moved in a circular path. I am not going directly inside, but taking a circular path.

This place is very dangerous, but small. It also makes more sense.

Going deeper will be dangerous. So, I will first move around the edges before slowly going inside. Looking at it, I have the time, so I could do it.

It is also much safer.

Once more, I stopped, this time not for the metal nugget, but the plants.

Yes, it has plants; it has in even greater density than outside. All the plants here have gotten used to it and use this energy for their nourishment.

Every plant here is the Prime grade. Means they are very precious, I have few strings harvesting these plants as I move, and I had only stopped now, because a delicate touch is required to harvest this one.

I harvested the plants and moved ahead.

As the minutes passed, my speed increased. I didn’t even stop to harvest nuggets; my string would move and bring them to me while I kept walking.

Still, I remained careful. I know the danger this place has, and I don’t want to fall into it in my complacency.

Soon, an hour passed, and I looked at my armor; its doing well, better than I had thought. The pressure on it is increasing, but my armor is dealing with it.

My clones are analysing the data and making the changes. Increasing my chances of surviving in here.

I don’t know how long I will be able to stay here, but I plan to stay as long as I can. I have a big target and won’t be leaving until I’ve filled it.

I need to escape this realm, and this metal is necessary for it.

Another hour passed, and there were more nuggets in my core than an hour before. I am finding a good amount of it; it is giving me hope.

I was in a good mood as I found a big nugget, when suddenly my energy waves detected a movement.

It is a monster.

Yes, this place has monsters. Their numbers are small. So much that only a few had discovered it. Most didn’t even come across them.

Each of these monsters is powerful. Enough, kill me and do it easily.

I was not able to sense its power clearly, but I sensed it enough to tell that the monster is very powerful and I shouldn’t let it discover me.

If it does, then it will be over for me.
