--- Chapter 382 ---
Kuina charged forward, slicing the air horizontally as a thin layer of Busoushoku Haki coated her katana's blade.
All she did looks so simple.
Meanwhile, Zoro looked demonic with a flashing purplish-dark aura around him.
His Bosushoku Haki coated his three swords thoroughly.
He rushed with a wide grin, "RENGOKU! ONI... GIRI!"
"Pagma Sword's Dance, Wave!" Kuina swung her katana with all seriousness.
DING!BOOOOOOOM!!
Everything in the one-hundred-meter radius turned into clouds, sliced finely into dust.
No buildings or trees are left, only a massive crater with Zoro and Kuina standing back to back. Not far away, a mangrove tree released a crooked noise as one of its big branched chopped top pieces.
"Yo, your Haki isn't bad!" Zoro commented while looking at the chipped Sandai Kitetsu in his left hand.
"Yours isn't bad either, Bakazoro..." Kuina replied, sensing a faint dent in her katana. Although this was her 'failed' creation, it could still put nearly all swords in Tiny World in shame.
Kuina didn't use as much Haki as Zoro, but his ability to dent the blade is a horrifying achievement.
Not to mention, Zoro also almost cut a giant mangrove behind Kuina.
BAM!
The branch fell off, sending a shockwave to their location.
Zoro wasn't happy with Kuina's praise. In fact, he was irritated. The sight of a deep ravine before him indicated Kuina was holding back when he was using One Sword and Two Swords Styles.
This girl. She has become a monster!
Zoro didn't dare to say this outright, though. Kuina might have beaten him to the ground with her fist instead of a sword.
But if it was swordplay, Zoro still has confidence in himself.
He has trained with Koushiro for a decade or more. Then, he also learned under the strongest swordsman, Dracule Mihwak.
All those rich experiences accumulated over the years have shaped Zoro into the swordsman he is now.
'I'm not afraid of strong enemies!'
'I'm only afraid that there are no strong enemies!'
Those words echoed in Zoro's mind and soul like a drum, pumping his heart with burning blood and fearless endeavor.
Zoro turned around and faced Kuina, "AGAIN!"
"Don't die, Bakazoro!" Kuina warned with a heartful laugh.
Swoosh!
'Shit!' Zoro's mind raced. Kuina suddenly split into countless figures, swishing her sword occasionally to create a mirage in his vision.
Zoro didn't expect Kuina to know advanced sword steps like this. Even Dracule Mihawk didn't teach him, so he could only devise sword steps from watching on the side and learn them all by himself.
However, he knew it wasn't enough.
Zoro closed his eyes, using his Haki to sense the surroundings and spreading his sense to all corners.
A cold sensation blew on Zoro's waist.
Zoro lowered his two swords and countered, but it was a fake.
He slashed through the mirage, and the real Kuina had narrowly pierced her katana to his left shoulder.
BAM! CRACK!
Zoro got sent flying outside the crater, crashing into the giant mangrove tree and causing a massive crack.
Zoro smashed the tree and jumped out, preparing for Kuina's following attack.
He clenched his grip harder and shouted, "THREE SWORD STYLE: 1,080 POUND PHOENIX!"
Three sword lights intertwined with each other, razing the ground with pure destructive power.
Watching the incoming storm, Kuina pulled her katana and executed another Pagma's Sword Dance.
"Transcendent Wave!"
Kuina swung her sword three times, stacking one wave after another to form enough momentum to match Zoro's attack.
And it didn't disappoint.
Two attacks clashed fiercely, creating an even 'bigger' storm than the beginning.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Zoro decided to fight at close range, slashing his katana with unfixed routines.
Sometimes, Zoro would swing the swords in his hand and then follow with the one in his mouth, creating unpredictable outcomes.
Even a Kenbunshoku Haki would have a hard time reacting to them.
After all, once Zoro noticed a muscle twitch or change in movement, he'll change his move again.
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!
Zoro's mind entered a hyper-focused state. All he could see was Kuina and her sword now.
Faster.
Stronger.
HEAVIER!
Suddenly, Zoro bent his body into an s before launching another technique.
"Three Sword Style, Secret Skill."
"Crossroad of Six Paths!"
Zoro launched six consecutive slashes, rendering Kuina's defense useless for a few seconds. Kuina's katana faltered as Zoro struck her in the most optimal spot, preventing her from moving.
"RENGOKU! ONI GIRI!" Zoro followed with the fastest move he could muster right now.
Kuina's eyes flickered as she witnessed herself getting caught in Zoro's attack and losing a piece of fabric on her sleeve.
She harrumphed, "Pagma's Sword Dance... Spiral Break!"
Before Zoro could connect his attack, Kuina stabbed her katana down. It created a spiral out of pure sword momentum.
BOOM!
Zoro missed his attack and struck a massive boulder instead, erasing it from existence.
GAH!
"Her reaction speed and reflexes are too fast!" Zoro gasped for air, pulling his swords from the ground. "I must restrain her somehow."
Meanwhile, Kuina sighed and looked at Zoro in awe. The idiot kid she once knew has grown into a formidable sword master.
He's not there yet, but he's on the right path.
'But Zoro still didn't understand the return to simplicity.' Kuina thought to herself, realizing nearly all Zoro's sword moves revolve around untamed creativity and extreme ferocity.
Kuina looked at his katana and noticed a faint crack, "Zoro's Unique Haki is flaring without him noticing. The aura has turned from purple to glaring green."
Zzt! Zzt!
Zoro's breathing calmed down as faint electricity came from his body. He immersed himself in this sensation, letting it ravage his body and flowing into his swords.
"King of Hell..."
"Three Sword Style..." His voice becomes lower by an octave.
The roughness in Zoro's voice caused Kuina's eyes to light up immediately.
'Does he have other killer moves? Haha, I can't wait.' Kuina infused more Haki into her katana.
"SANZEN NIHAKYU YONJU POUND HO!"
Zoro launched a large-area sword energy, beaming Kuina up. Greenlight exploded like an eruption and decimated the entrance of District 1, which also sent Kuina flying high into the sky.
Seeing that Kuina was in the sky, Zoro turned into a blurry figure of green light. He jumped and used the flying rubbles as his platform to chase after Kuina.
His swords are burning with intense Green Flames, making one shiver just by looking at them.
"KING OF HELL, THREE SWORD SERPENT!"
Zoro appeared above Kuina and slashed with all his might, overdrawing his Haki and remaining stamina.
"103 MERCIES DRAGON DAMNATION!"
"Ah, you have indeed become stronger, Zoro." Kuina blinked her big eyes, feeling her gaze flutter before this sight. "You will become the strongest swordsman in this world."
"But my vision didn't stop here..."
Kuina's katana suddenly burst with a cloudy blue flame.
'I have seen a bigger world, and I hope you can do the same, Zoro!'
'Take this last attack of mine as an unforgivable lesson!'
Kuina pressed her sword down and performed a rising slash. "Seven Kill Sword Art: Parting Clouds in the Peak."
"Killer Whale!"
A sword howl reverberated in the Sabaody. Countless swords trembled as if they just sensed something incredible.
The clouds in the sky quickly parted and revealed a gigantic white whale-like beast descending toward Kuina and Zoro.
"KUINAAAA!!!" Zoro roared while clashing with the whale, cutting its head but then overwhelmed by its weight.
CRACK! CRACK!
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
The whale fell on District 1 and decimated several giant mangrove trees into sawdust. Seawater started flooding Sabaody.
Zoro fainted, floating in the puddle of red seawater with cuts all over his body. He looks very pale, but that grin never leaves his face.
Kuina landed beside Zoro and looked down at him helplessly, "What an idiot you are, Zoro. Who kind of idiot takes such an attack head-on?"
"Oh, well. At least you're my idiotic friend."
Kacha!
Sandai Kitetsu in Zoro's hand shattered to pieces.
Even with Zoro's Unique Haki, it still breaks due to the overwhelming pressure of Kuina's attack.
"Hmph. I promised you earlier, so I will fix it. No, I will make this sword even better than before!" Kuina smiled, collecting the pieces with her mental power.
Unknown to Zoro, he might get a Divine Weapon.
