Chapter 6069 No Chance of Survival
“What is that?!” Long Chen exclaimed, shocked.
Multiple stars had merged—not simply combining energy, but undergoing a qualitative transformation. The resulting power was something even the double-body Sovereign Lords at full strength couldn’t withstand.
The surrounding void collapsed. Long Chen had no time to evade as a strange gravitational pull yanked him toward the star.
“Big brother, watch out!”
The Demon Moon Cauldron shot forward, placing itself in front of Long Chen.

Lei Linger formed hand seals and transformed into a lightning dragon. With a flick of her tail, she created a vortex—smaller than the one left by the star, but it was spinning in the opposite direction. It expelled them from the pull of the star.
Just as they escaped, the star slammed into the gate and bounced off. Even with its immense force, it couldn’t damage the gate.
Thankfully, Lei Linger had moved them in time. If they’d still been there, the rebound would have obliterated them.
“What is this thing?!” Even Evilmoon shouted.
Evilmmoon had thought that the situation in the tribulation had stabilized, giving it a perfect chance to refine its body. But then, this terrifying star appeared.
Had Evilmoon not changed form, they would have had a fighting chance—if not to destroy the star, then at least to deflect it.
“That gate is terrifying. It’s not even slightly damaged!” shouted Yao Ling-er.
Long Chen looked over and felt his stomach sink. There wasn’t the slightest mark on the gate. This tribulation was far more terrifying than he had imagined.
“Quick, absorb the thunderforce!” shouted Long Chen.
No longer composed, Long Chen started to frantically absorb thunderforce. Every bit of power could mean the difference between life and death.
They chased after the path of destruction left by the giant star, gathering the scattered lightning runes.
Just then, another giant star formed and shot at Long Chen.
“This tribulation isn’t following any rules! It’s trying to kill Boss no matter what!” Gu Yang shouted.
In the past, even Long Chen’s tribulations followed a rhythm. There was always a cycle—a tempo that gave him a fighting chance. As long as he seized it, he could turn danger into fortune.
But now, the heavenly tribulation seemed to have torn off its mask and fully exposed its brutal nature. It was no longer restricted by any laws. It simply wanted Long Chen dead.
“Fuck!” Long Chen cursed.
Seeing another giant star flying toward him, Long Chen hastily fled before its vortex reached him.
However, that star changed direction and followed him.
“Evilmoon, Lei Linger, Yao Ling-er, prepare yourselves!”
Long Chen veered sharply. Sure enough, the star ignored the others—it only wanted him.
Just then, a third giant star condensed. It hadn’t shot out yet, but its destructive will had locked onto him.
“These damn heavens! One day, I’ll flip you on your head!” Long Chen roared.
Just then, the first giant star struck another gate and bounced back at Long Chen.
Now, two stars—one in front, one behind—closed in on him. The waves of destruction they emitted distorted the void. The moment those waves touched him, he would be sucked into their twisted space and unable to escape. Then, the two stars would crush him to bits.
“Now!” Long Chen shouted.
At his cry, the Demon Moon Cauldron expanded, anchoring itself to a gate. A torrent of lightning bound the black scales like a long river through the stars, instantly wrapping around Long Chen’s arm. With a powerful pull, the cauldron yanked Long Chen free just as the two stars collided.
BOOM!
A massive explosion rocked the heavenly tribulation. Countless stars were blown apart, disintegrating into lightning runes.
Long Chen ran quickly, but the shockwave still hit him like a hammer. Blood gushed from his mouth.
Fortunately, Lei Linger and Evilmoon were prepared. They had woven a formation in the air that caught Long Chen before he slammed into one of the gates.
“Absorb them!”
Gritting his teeth, Long Chen activated the Infinity-One Technique. Lightning surged toward him. Explosive booms echoed within his body as he broke through to the fifth level of thunderforce accumulation.
But it wasn’t enough, causing Long Chen to become anxious.
Others divided their max capacity into ten even levels. However, Long Chen wasn’t like others—each level required exponentially more energy than the last.
The collision of the two giant stars had cleared the battlefield. All the ambient thunderforce was absorbed, but he had only reached the fifth level.
The third giant star flew toward Long Chen. Meanwhile, the tribulation clouds quivered, and more stars descended.
The fourth star had already taken shape.
The fifth was condensing.
The sixth… was beginning to swirl.
Outside the tribulation, Gu Yang clenched his fists and roared, “This damn tribulation won’t give Boss a chance to survive!”
But just then—
BOOM!
An explosion of divine radiance erupted. Golden light pierced through the tribulation clouds. From the outside, experts of the Dragon Domain gasped. One by one, they dropped to their knees in reverence.
