“I can feel him coming.” The Frost Elf Mage stated but they could not see Levin Cloud coming towards them.

All the Frost Elves could see are a group being led by a burly woman and a Valkyrie. Just as they thought that they could not see the Forest Guardian, the large roots that were not moving earlier suddenly rose from the ground. The large roots came crashing down onto the Frost Elf Leader, but the Frost Elf Mage created a powerful spell that turned the roots into ice sculptures.

“Tch! So, you were the ones that attacked me earlier in the forest! Not only did you attack me, but you even destroyed the fields that I tended to! I will wipe off the likes of the Frost Elves from this planet as your ancestor!” Levin Cloud shouted as he reconstructed his body near Peridot.

“Ancestor?” Peridot asked in a judging gaze.

“What? All Elves are descendants of Faekin. I am clearly their ancestor in terms of blood.” Levin Cloud replied.

“Capture the Forest Guardian!” The Frost Elf Leader commanded as he pointed towards Levin Cloud.

“They came for me and not the villagers?” Levin Cloud suddenly blurted out as he could not believe that he was their objective in attacking the village.

Just as soon as the command was given, two figures hidden in the snow suddenly pounced towards Levin Cloud. Village Chief Taran swung her gigantic shield that could already be called a door and sent the two Frost Elf Scouts flying. Levin Cloud immediately casted a powerful healing spell around him which healed the injured Village Chief Taran and the other village warriors.

“Such warm light. Thank you.” Village Chief Taran stated.

“Thank me later when we pummel them in the snow. Those that need healing! Go to the wood elves so that your injuries could be treated.” Levin Cloud stated as he became fully alert.

“I shall charge first. Peridot, protect Levin Cloud as he is the target.” Frey stated as she rode her Pegasus and headed straight towards the Frost Elf Leader that is also riding a large ice moose mount.

“You are too young to battle me, Valkyrie.” The Frost Elf Leader stated as he raised his sword to manipulate the snow itself to launch an attack towards Frey.

Frey blocked the large clump of snow with her spear and bravely charged forward. She managed to get near the Frost Elf Leader, but the Frost Elf Mage deterred her from getting really close. The Frost Elf mage suddenly conjured a large ice spike from the ground which made Frey, and her mount jump back.

“Is it just me or the temperature dropped?” Levin Cloud stated as he could see his breath which he could not do earlier.

The temperature in the village should still be cold but not cold to the point that your breath could be seen. They were still in the village area, but the temperature dropped a lot which meant that the Frost Elves can summon the cold. Rather, Frost Elves have an ability to lower the temperature of wherever they are located.

“It has become cold. Can you protect yourselves? I need to help those that are being collected by the enemies.” Village Chief Taran stated as she pointed towards the cart that was loading the injured village warriors.

“Go and help them. We can take care of ourselves.” Levin Cloud stated but even he is not entirely sure of that statement.

Levin Cloud could see that the Frost Elf Leader that Frey is trying to reach is not even being serious. The fight is also one sided even if there are more warriors in their side. All he could do is to provide healing support to all of the injured warriors along with the wood elves. Levin Cloud also has the duty to protect the wood elves as he led them here.

“Do you think that story about then afraid of the sun is true?” Peridot asked.

“The only thing you could do is test that theory out. Can you handle light elemental magic?” Levin Cloud asked as he knew that Peridot has yet to master the use of light and darkness elemental magic.

“How can I become good if I do not practice?” Peridot stated as she clutched a Legendary Rank Light Gem.

Peridot could not find or generate gems that use light and darkness elemental magic as she has yet to master them. The highest she could create is Legendary Rank and the Mythical Rank are just rare finds in random mines she entered. Still, if the weakness of the Frost Elves is light then she should try it.

“Prism Glow!” Peridot shouted as she crushed the Light Gem.

A large prismatic mirror suddenly appeared above all of them and released a blinding light and also light rays in the direction of the Frost Elves. The Frost Elf Mage felt the mana of the light element and immediately casted the powerful Blizzard spell. The light that scattered due to Peridot’s spell got absorbed by the raging wind and snow that covered the battlefield.

The entire field is suddenly covered in snow and mist, but the sound of metals clashing did not stop. The warriors of the norther continent are still fighting as they can fight even in an intense blizzard or snowstorm. Seeing that the Frost Elf Mage looked somewhat tired, the Frost Elf Leader raised his sword.

“Frost Slash.” The Frost Elf Leader stated as he raised his sword and then slashed at the direction of Levin Cloud and Peridot.

It would look like the Frost Elf Leader was not attacking but the ground suddenly cracked as ice pillars snaked their way towards Levin Cloud and Peridot. The speed at which the ice pillars came towards them is not quick, but the two Frost Elf Scouts suddenly appeared beside them once again. Peridot could not defend Levin Cloud quickly which is why she immediately used a spell in Dragon Tongue. A large explosion occurred at the location where Levin Cloud and Peridot are.
