As the kingdom prepared to go to battle, the tension could be felt by all of the people inside of it. All the people are already evacuated to the shelters while all preparations have been made. Adrian and the players were all prepared to fight against the two primordial beasts outside of the castle walls.

“Thank you for your help in cleaning up.” Svalr stated as he could be seen in an extremely tired condition.

“Maybe get checked out. Better yet… Saena, please alleviate his symptoms.” Adrian stated as he summoned Saena to heal Svalr back to normal.

“Thank you. I was just heavily affected by what happened to Elona.” Svalr stated.

“So… what now?” Adrian asked as he wants to check if the former Primordial Beast of Icy Abyss has a way to defeat the enemies approaching them.

“Honestly, I can only pray that all of you can defeat them. You will be going against two primordial beasts if what you told me is correct. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is already a force of nature that can destroy anything in its path. I do not even know what another primordial beast could do.” Svalr stated.

“I can only hope for the best then. I guess it is good that one of them is a force of nature as that one would be the destructive one. The other one is an emotional force so it must operate under different things. If the Primordial Beast of Gluttony is something like the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra, then both of them would have charged towards this area if they are working together.” Adrian stated.

Adrian received reports from his stationed shadow unit members that the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra is the only one charging towards the kingdom. They have observed some people following behind it which might be the members of the secret organization. He believed that the Primordial Beast of Gluttony is not transforming because it is not good in combat like the Primordial Beast of Greed.

“The Ice Queen Elona cannot participate in this fight. Do you have any way of helping? Can you not use your heart to create a powerful explosion or something?” Adrian asked.

“If you want this kingdom to be eternally frozen in abyss ice and then be my guest. Maintaining the barrier is already using half the power of the heart. Also, why are you asking help from a child?! Have some dignity as a mediator of death.” Svalr stated as if throwing a fit.

“Yeah. Sorry about that. You are a child now and your help earlier was merely within your means. We will do what we can and hope for the best. If there really is nothing, then sacrificing a few levels will not hurt. Please head to safety as your family might be looking for you now.” Adrian stated.

“I pray that you are successful as the lives of all the people will be in your hands.” Svalr stated as he was escorted to the shelter upon Adrian’s instructions.

The day finally ended but the night was not silent. The tension of the incoming monster is not something that one can sleep soundly on. Adrian had no choice but to call upon the aid of the God of Dreams. Thankfully, the God of Dreams answered his prayers and made all the tensed and weary soldiers get a good night’s rest. The next day came, and good news actually reached the castle walls.

Some of the nearby warriors that the Ice Queen Elona asked for help have already arrived. They arrived faster than expected as they were told to come as soon as possible. The food and other things were to be provided so they only needed to bring themselves. Adrian thought that everything might work out as he saw some powerful NPCs amongst the mix.

Some of the powerful NPCs even had the blessings of gods on their bodies. Some know they are blessed while some do not know as they may just have got the attention recently. Still, Adrian is thankful that powerful NPCs are coming but that also made him a bit anxious. Powerful NPCs coming means that the enemy is powerful enough that that much firepower is needed as reinforcements.

Thankfully, the other guild masters have arrived via the teleportation scrolls but they cannot bring all of their people. Only the elite squads of the guild alliance were present as some needed to look for clues about the other primordial beasts. Adrian was checking the group chats when the sudden noise from the gathered army caught his attention.

The screams of fighting could be heard as there was suddenly a brawl that happened. It was a brawl that was made by two village chiefs that did not get along with each other. The other village chiefs dared not to make a fuss as they were weaker than these two. Adrian’s hope of winning suddenly started to slowly plummet down as he saw the discord being done.

“With the Ice Queen unable to lead, I should be the one holding the reigns! It is only right as I am the most powerful one here!” One of the village chiefs with a mammoth helmet shouted.

“You?! You are weaker than me! I should be the one leading all of us in this fight against that mighty beast! My ancestors were present in that fight and the Ice Queen can even attest to that!” A village chief with a large bear hide cloak announced.

The two looked at each other and proceeded to brawl as if this was the way they needed to see who was in charge. There would not have been a problem if their brawl was all about themselves, but they inconvenienced the others around them. The tents, crates, and even the food that was meant to be served got caught in the crossfire. The two did not care as they were trying to be better than the other.

“Who made this mess?” Adrian announced in a firm tone.
