“Any news would be good if there are any.” Adrian stated as he dangled the Blessed Leaf of the Tree of Life and Death.

“The recipe is accurate but…” Jianna stated as she sighed.

“But what?” Adrian asked.

“It seems to have been tailor made for a god or goddess to create. We do not have divine energy here as the instructions said that we should use divine energy to activate the medium.” Brew stated.

“If it is just divine energy then I can help you with that. Levin Cloud is already back in Avalon and will be enough to stimulate the required divine energy. Do you need lots of it?” Adrian asked.

“Not really. The divine energy needed is something that can be regulated by someone like Levin Cloud. He is basically brimming with it and has yet to master hiding it like you do.” Jianna added.

“That is good then. I already contacted Levin Cloud to come here. So, do you need anymore ingredients that are not available here?” Adrian asked.

“Most of the ingredients are already present in the territory because this place is a paradise for alchemists. The real thing that needs to be properly manipulated is the Blessed Leaf of the Tree of Life and Death. We only have one of that right… which means we cannot afford to screw up.” Brew stated but Jianna suddenly nudged the former’s elbow as if she needed to tell him something.

Brew then noticed what Jianna was implying and both of them started whispering to each other. They were speaking at a fast pace that Adrian could barely understand and all of it were alchemy terms that he barely focuses on. Adrian then suddenly felt a chill on his spine as the two of the alchemy freaks looked at him as if he was a precious ingredient.

“I think I need to head out now. Please contact me when you will need to start the creation process as I will need to check on the other things we need to do for the raids against the Primordial Beasts of Sin.” Adrian stated as he tried to slip away while both Jianna and Brew were talking.

“Wait, just a minute, cutie!” Jianna stated as she firmly held Adrian’s right shoulder.

“Please spare some of your bl… I mean time, guild master.” Brew added as he gripped Adrian’s left shoulder tightly.

“What are both of you trying to do?” Adrian asked with a pained smile as he already know what they were talking about.

“This recipe calls for a Binding Agent called the Tears of the Gods but that can be substituted with something more potent. Tears of the Gods is just another name for holy water after all. It is just water blessed by the gods or any god for that matter.” Jianna stated.

“If that is the case then let me get some for you. There are a lot of stock in the Church of the Twin Gods. We have the best quality holy water available there. Let me just fetch it for a moment.” Adrian stated as he struggled to break free from the clutches of the two.

“You see, guild master. The Tears of the Gods only provides an 80% chance of the recipe to succeed. We need something stronger and more potent as a binding agent. Blessed water is not going to cut it if we are to succeed with our first and only try.” Brew added.

“If I ask the Gods of Life and Death then they can all bless the holy water that we need! I can just ask them to do so as the fate of the world is at risk.” Adrian explained as he really tried to get away from the two of them.

“You see, guild master. Even with a lot of gods that blessed the water, it is still holy water in the end. The success rate will not increase any further, but it will stabilize the holy water as it will be purer. Anyways, we need the cheat code! The holy grail amongst all of the holy grail!” Brew stated with a fierce and fanatical gaze.

“We need your blood! The ultimate cheat code when it comes to powerful binding agent!” Jianna added as her gaze also became a bit crazed.

“I mean… will that not ruin the recipe?” Adrian stated weakly.

“We already deliberated, guild master. If we use your blood, then we are sure to succeed!” Brew proudly declared.

“If we use your blood then the success rate will skyrocket to 99%! My calculations are not wrong on this one as I simulated everything and even peeked into the future!” Jianna stated as she actually used Future Sight to check the success rate.

“Okay then but please be gentle. I am only doing this to increase the chances of us winning.” Adrian replied weakly as if he is agreeing but protesting at the same time.

“BLOOD!” Jianna and Brew shouted in a craze which scared Adrian that he used up all of the water in the spray bottle. The spray bottle became empty but the two of them still looked like maniacs.

“AHHH!” The stifled screams of Adrian resounded that day, but no one heard it as the shop was soundproof.

A few minutes later, Levin Cloud managed to arrive at Jianna’s store and stumbled upon a scene. He saw Adrian trying to spray Jianna and Brew with water. The faces of the other two are soaked to the point that they needed a towel in order to dry them.

“What is happening?” Levin Cloud asked and Adrian immediately dragged him when the latter saw his best friend.

“If they needed your blood then you should have just given it to them. They only took one small vial after all, and you are already this abrasive.” Levin Cloud stated.

“Do you not see the scary glint in their eyes while looking at that small vial! You can clearly see the crazed look into them as if my blood is the most important item in this operation. You can even hear their thoughts trying to see if they can skimp on it so they can use it on some other potion or pill.” Adrian stated as Jianna and Brew were shocked as the two looked at each other.

“How did he know!?” This was the thoughts of Jianna and Brew when they heard Adrian’s statement.

“Anyways, do you need some preparation? We can step out if there are somethings that both of you need to prepare.” Adrian stated.

“No need as we need to start right away as it will take hours to produce the numerous pills needed to give. I am assuming that you will give these potions or pills to the normal warriors and not the blessed ones.” Jianna stated.

“Yes. You can say it is to make sure that they do not die without any fighting chance.” Adrian stated as he knew that many NPCs will definitely die if they do not get buffed.

“Let us just hope that the effect that you desire will manifest.” Brew stated as he jumped out of hi cauldron.

Adrian looked at the cauldron and immediately knew that this was no ordinary item. It looked old and banged up, but Adrian could feel the power hidden inside of it as this was a sealed divine item. The cauldron needed divine energy to fully unlock its full potential which is why Levin Cloud is needed.

“Please proceed with igniting the cauldron with divine energy, vice guild master.” Brew stated as he gestured Levin Cloud to his cauldron.

“Okay.” Levin Cloud replied but he thought that request was not ordinary as he never seen Brew create potions before.

“Do you need a burst or steady stream of divine energy?” Adrian asked as Brew is not one to discuss things.

“A steady stream would be good as we would need to activate the cauldron for hours.” Brew replied.

“How will I know when it will be enough?” Levin Cloud asked.

“There would be changes.” Brew answered and Levin Cloud nodded as the latter inserted divine energy into the cauldron.

At first, the cauldron did not have any changes but flames suddenly sparked when Levin Cloud increase the intensity by one. Seeing that golden flames burst forth below the cauldron, Levin Cloud maintained the intensity of divine energy and the cauldron started to return back to normal or back to when it was first forged.

The golden flames reverted the cauldron back to peak performance and aesthetic. The darkened handles suddenly became shinier as it revealed diamond rings that acted as handles. The black metal used also glistened to the point that it could reflect light.

“Your master is truly extraordinary!” Jianna stated as Brew’s master was indeed not a normal alchemist.

“You could even say that she was a hidden goddess that acted like a crazy alchemist.” Adrian stated as he is amazed by the unsealed divine item.
