212 Chapter 212 A Cute Little Bird Got It
“What do you think Loyd?” Desmond asked one of his squad members.
Matías Loyd, a man of average height and appearance, his only special feature was the strands of green mixed in his natural blonde hair, with an Esper ability related to the wind and previous experience as a hunter; Matías Loyd was the team’s scout.
Hearing his lieutenant’s question, Loyd carefully checked the carcasses of the dead panthers before answering.
“They look like claw wounds, whatever killed these panthers was fast, deadly, and... it came from the sky,” Loyd said with a serious expression.
Loyd’s conclusion was similar to what Desmond had thought, for, although he did not have enough hunting experience he had still noticed that all the wounds on the panthers seemed to have been made from above.
“Sir I think we have a problem,” Loyd said seeing that Desmond seemed lost in thought of him.
“Explain,” Desmond replied curiously for his subordinate’s opinion.
“The panthers seem intact... I mean besides the wounds that killed them, none of them seem to have been hunted for food, which means that whatever did this they did it for fun or some kind of territorial instinct; whatever the case is not good for us, “Loyd explained.
Looking at the six dead panthers Desmond had to agree with Loyd, whatever it killed these panthers seemed a lot more dangerous than they had anticipated and Desmond was not in his best condition; not to mention that airborne enemies were his greatest weakness.
.....
Having thought so far Desmond prepared to order the retreat when a high-pitched shriek took everyone off guard, the sound was piercing and intense paralyzing everyone present as they tried to cover their ears.
By the time they all regained mobility it was too late as a beige spot passed through their midst and before anyone had a chance to do something this spot took Desmond and flew him away.
Injured and with his arms restrained by whatever took him in its clutches, Desmond was trying to gather multiple wind rings around his shoulders to use the resulting blast to loosen himself, but a soft voice reached his ears causing him to stop.
Claire, Silvia, and Morales could only watch helplessly as the Beige stain carried Desmond beyond the range of their abilities while the rest of the squad refrained from shooting for fear of hurting Desmond.
At first, the squad wanted to follow Desmond, but in less than a minute they completely lost track of the flying creature that had taken him away and to the surprise of many it was Claire who suggested that they retreat.
At first many objected, but when she explained that whatever it took Desmond was too dangerous for them, many were forced to acknowledge that fact; she also told them that Desmond had some Aces up his sleeve so he would be fine.
Of course, the real reason Claire suggested withdrawing was that Kyuru had contacted her telling her that Desmond was fine and that he needed her to take the squad back to town.
Claire, knowing the relationship between Kyuru and Desmond, knew that the fairy would never hurt Desmond so she trusted her and agreed to convince the squad to return; though Claire had to admit that she didn’t think it would take her so much effort to convince Silvia to back off.
Putting the squad aside and going back to Desmond’s current situation, he had to admit that although his shoulders ached from the way he was carried it was still quite interesting to see the forest from above.
The wind ruffled his hair and clothes causing Desmond to delight in the feeling, it must be said that elementals have an interesting way of experiencing various things in life.
Now with a little more calm Desmond was able to watch his kidnapper or at least he tried, but as soon as he looked up he was forced to look away; The reason? Well if his eyes weren’t deceiving him, what Desmond had just seen was the little ass and honey pot of a girl.
Of course, Desmond also noticed that said girl had wings and legs like a bird of prey, but Desmond was too distracted to think too much about it.
Eventually, Desmond felt him begin to slow down and descend making his way to a small ledge on the side of one of the nearby mountains.
As soon as Desmond felt the ground under his feet and the lack of pressure on his shoulders, he used Full-Drive to drive away from his abductor at full speed, the moment he felt the distance was good enough Desmond turn around to get a good view of his abductor once and for all.
And just as Desmond expected what was in front of him was a creature similar to harpies, with a youthful appearance with pale pink skin like a baby, a slender body with small well-defined curves, and an exceptionally beautiful face.
After having judged and appreciated his human features Desmond directed his attention to the majestic wings of the girl, with beige feathers with gray patterns on them; the girl’s wings looked pristine with a healthy glow on them.
With yellow eyes, the young lady’s hair was also a light beige color and Desmond could see small feathers mixed with her hair right next to her ears.
In short, the lady in front of Desmond was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen, there were only two problems about it, the first and the most obvious is that the girl in question was not human while the second problem is that she was naked.
That’s right, with her small but shapely breasts exposed to the air showing her pink nipples, the girl showed herself naked without any shame for also showing her little honey pot to Desmond.
And as if the confusion was not enough, the girl opened her lips as if she were going to speak, but she only emitted the most beautiful sound in the universe according to the experts.
“Kurururu”
Aside from thinking about how absolutely adorable the naked girl in front of him was, Desmond for a moment had the idea to kidnap this adorable creature, but he guessed that bringing a kidnapped naked girl home might be a bad idea.
It must be said that Desmond’s way of thinking was already peculiar enough to only consider that this “might” be a bad idea and not be completely sure that it was a bad idea not to mention that until now he had not stopped to think on the reason this harpy had kidnapped him.
But could anyone really blame Desmond? It was already a miracle that his brain was capable of operating under such unexpected circumstances especially when he had a naked beauty in front of him; because let’s face it... men aren’t exactly known to think straight when naked women are involved.
