Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 694 - 694: The Black Sea [Bonus]The moment Kent got back to the tower, he quickly used it to harness one of the markers he had placed on its tether.
He was going to the Half-Elves kingdom, and the shortest path was via the Black Sea, so he used the tether he had left when he and his wives took down the Sect Master of the Divine Palace sect.
Back then, Kent and Kaizo chased him down and gave him a rather great beating. What he did to Nara and Zaila was too inhuman, so they reminded him of that through beatings.
Thankfully, his ladies also came and added to his suffering. So, when all was done back then, Kent used the tower to leave a marker, allowing him to teleport there in the future.
The battle happened near the Black Sea. So he left the marker there.
Coincidentally, he would need the marker today since the shortest path to the Elven land was through the Black Sea.
They said crossing it was the last thing anyone wanted to do. But Kent knew that if he were to go through the Ancient Battlefield of Parting, it would take weeks before he arrived at his destination.
In fact, he knew that getting through the gateway, which led to the Elven lands, wasn’t going to be easy…
Of course, he could choose to kill those who would prevent him from passing. However, that would bring too much trouble for everyone.
So he would rather take the path where the danger had been stated, but it was also the fastest path to the Elven land.
Kent stood on a small mountain, gazing at the vast expanse of the sea stretching several miles away from him. “It goes without saying the sea is rather scary… however, it hasn’t met me yet.”
Kent smiled.
The moment he moves, there will be no turning back.
Kent sighed and then retrieved a flying boat. “Per the map, if I travel 10,000 miles per hour, I will get to the shores of the Elf kingdoms within three days… it is too far, but I can only go now.”
Kent made the flying boat float before him, and then he gently jumped in. Without even thinking, he channeled his energy into the boat, and it began to move.
The speed didn’t pick up early simply because Kent wanted to explore some things first, so he was moving slowly, though not too slowly.
“Shax said that to get a chance to register because I am a human, I must first prove myself worthy…” Kent smiled.
“I wonder if revealing myself as Kent would get me what I want. After all, everyone wants my head, so what better way to get popular than by revealing myself?” Kent had no intention of hiding his identity.
He knew one way or another, he would clash with all those who wanted him dead, so why not get it done now and be free from future troubles?
Vexthra made him aware that the moment he stepped into a High world, the competition would be much more severe. Countless geniuses were waiting for him out there…
Kent may have easily killed a Spirit King, but he might just find himself clashing on equal footing or even being suppressed by another Spirit King…
Naturally, that would be because the Spirit King had a much stronger foundation than the ones Kent easily killed. So, based on one’s foundation, the odds of battle would become much more severe.
However, Vexthra knew Kent was a monster, so she knew killing him would be next to impossible… Kent was basically the kind of monster whose potential was endless.
She knew that instead of hiding, Kent would probably be the one going around causing trouble. So she wasn’t worried. All she wanted was for Kent to compete with people who could give him a run for his money.
Getting good competition would be great for Kent. This is why he planned on using his real self to handle things. He wouldn’t want to hide when he could stand at the peak and not fear for his own life.
There were indeed more harrowing dangers in the world, but Kent was not an easy target. If he wanted, he could just bring the entire world under his control using his legion.
“So I have to get to the Half-Elves Kingdom in the next five days if I want to be on time to register for the competition. Also, the likelihood that they will prevent me from registering is high, so I must prepare for that too.”
Kent smiled weakly and sighed. “The Hand got angry this time, so they are going all out.”
Shax, the shadow demon, had already reported to him that the Hand had spread word again that whoever kills Kent will receive great wealth.
And if that wasn’t enticing enough—considering anything from the Hand is of great value—they also promised to give the demons an Ascension platform if they manage to kill him.
So while sending out an entire demon race after him seemed shameless, the demons wanted an Ascension platform. And since they were desperate, they would consider coming after him.
“What a headache… Vexthra made me promise her I wouldn’t cause too much trouble for the demons, simply because she is also a demon. She said, although it may seem that demons are superior in most High and Immortal worlds, the truth is that humans and other races suppress them.
So she didn’t want her people to feel suppressed in this world, too.” Kent scratched the back of his head. “Not that I have any problem with the demons…”
If he had to tell the truth, his plans for going to the other continents were for experience, so he never truly wanted to suppress or slaughter anybody. But when they attacked him, he would have to fight back.
This meant now that the demons were gearing up to go after him, the chances of him doing what his wife was afraid of were just high…
This placed Kent in a complicated state. However, after a moment’s thought, he realized that even if they attacked him, putting them on the right path was also an option.
“Chaos would have slaughtered them all… but I am Kent, the correct version of me, so I will break their legs and arms and perhaps their teeth.”
