Chapter 786: Third Floor – The Unbreakable City (4)

“Mountain Fist”

Kaizo landed hard on the ground, creating a powerful shockwave that threw over a hundred tigerkins into the air.

“Lightning Barrage”

Unity arrived with lightning arrows, killing as many as she could. She and Kaizo already had this dynamic in place.

Kaizo attacked with a terrifying opening, and then Unity followed with rapid shots to handle those who were knocked off their feet.

But it wasn’t only Kaizo and Unity who had this dynamic. Most of the legion members had already formed their mini teams, with the recent one being between Vaelros and Velithra, the new archer added to the undead legion.

It turns out that being on the same side and in the same legions has its perks.

“Chainstorm Requiem”

Vaelros unleashed his attack, sending out thousands of chains that efficiently bound the tigerkins, giving Velithra the chance to go for immediate kills.

She unleashed shadow arrows, hundreds of them. The arrows came through the shadows of the bounded tigers, killing from the direction of their shadows.

Unlike Unity, who shot her arrows through the air, Velithra shot hers through the shadows, making the entire process look bone-chilling.

All the tigers who were unfortunate to be the recipients of her arrow didn’t even know how they died.

The harem of dangerous ladies was also going all out, killing as quickly as they could.

Considering their sister had to put her life on the line to give them a chance at winning, they weren’t giving the tigers a chance to breathe.

Now that the walls were down, the tigerkins were forced to assume battle positions. However, their stance was being broken by Kent, who was moving faster than the eye could track.

The rings on his heels were like wheels propelling him forward at a speed that not even a Spirit Emperor could track.

Of course, Kent wasn’t using his actual speed, for that would just be too fast, and he might not be able to focus, so he was moving at half his speed, but even so, the tigers couldn’t track him at all.

Soon, Kent spotted King Renie within the rubble created when he was sent flying by Camilla’s attack.

Kent moved, and before the Tiger King could understand what was going on, dozens of sword arcs appeared before him, sending him flying back.

His body slammed through many buildings again, sending him crashing through, creating numerous shockwaves.

When he regained his footing, a dangerous look appeared in his eyes as his aura flared, shaking the very ground he stood on.

“Who are you?” King Renie asked, looking coldly at Kent.

One minute ago, he had received a report that some core formation experts were about to attack them. He threw out the reporter for reporting such a useless thing.

However, the next second, his city walls, which had stood unbroken for 50,000 years, came tumbling down.

The sheer shock he found himself in was one he hadn’t expected. So he wanted to know who dared break down her walls, and if possible, after he won, he would seek out the family of Kent and his friends and slaughter them all.

However, Kent wasn’t in the mood to talk.

To him, every second wasted was a second longer he stayed away from Camilla, considering she had passed out in his arms.

So, instead of answering, Kent moved, and within a second, a dozen more attacks were unleashed, forcing King Renie to take out a great sword, which was immediately engulfed in a potent, profound sword aura.

He was also a swordsman, and judging by the thickness of the aura on the sword, he had already reached the sword king stage, but Kent didn’t care.

He was moving, unleashing attacks, forcing the king into defense with no hope of ever getting a chance to go on the offense.

“Void Cleave”

Kent unleashed the second form of his Annihilation sword technique, forcing out a powerful sword arc. King Renie crossed the sword on his chest, causing the powerful sword arc to slam into it, sending him flying.

“Unending Spear Rain”

Kent unleashed a flame art that he had learned from the Flame Tower. In the air, hundreds of golden flame spears appeared and started raining down on the tiger king.

The attacks slammed into his body, sending him flying to the ground and causing him to crash into it with a shockwave and a crater.

“Incinerating Spear”

Kent followed up with the next attack, forcing the tiger king into a corner. Breaking free would be hard. Kent wasn’t taking his opponent lightly.

He recognized the danger, and so he knew the moment the Tiger King managed to break free from his attacks would be when he would be put into danger.

So, he was doing everything in his power to wear him down and kill him before that could happen.

The two flame skills he unleashed were part of a seven-form divine-grade attacking flame art called [Flaming Spear of Judgment].

Kent unleashed the first and second forms, and so far, the Tiger King is being overwhelmed, showing that a divine-grade technique is not simple at all.

Kent was keeping the tiger king down, and that alone was admirable, considering he was fighting someone four realms above him.

“Kaizo, go hold back that Spirit Emperor,” Unity commanded, and Kaizo jumped forward at a speed that left lightning trailing behind him.

So far, the core formation experts among the thousands of tigerkins were just a few. The main army was made up of Spirit Ascension and Spirit Kings.

However, while their numbers were overwhelming, the legion was holding them back. They weren’t too much of a headache, considering someone like Princess Lovina already had a large chunk of the battlefield under control.

Her poison was spreading everywhere. So far, she had killed hundreds and more yet to die or succumb ot her poison.

But even with her overwhelming display of poison mastery, there were perhaps a few hundred Spirit Emperors and tens of thousands of spirit kings. They were the danger everyone was watching out for.

Veydris and Irina had already started looking for such dangers to handle before they reach a level they can’t handle. For now, they are taking them out one by one.

But while they were making some progress, they also couldn’t ignore the rest of the bloodthirsty Tiger Army.

If anything, they were being slowed down by the small flies.

Thankfully, Unity, with the help of her Primordial Spirits, was managing to pick the Spirit Emperors out.

But she wasn’t going for the kill, seeing her main job was to handle the tigers sneaking up on her friends and sister.

They didn’t have the numbers on their side, so someone like her, who could kill multiple targets simultaneously, wasn’t the ideal person to engage in a one-on-one battle with Spirit Emperors.

However, Kaizo was perfect for that job, and as one of the strongest in the legion, handling a Spirit Emperor shouldn’t be a big deal for him.

Though it wouldn’t be an easy battle, Kaizo isn’t weak. Aetheris, the flame giant, was also handling the Spirit Emperors.

Veera was on standby to raise the dead to add to her side.

She already had more than enough undead working hard to handle the horde of tigers. Most of her undead were being killed, but with more dead bodies hitting the ground every second, she wasn’t complaining.

If she could, she would love to have more than enough undead for the next battle, but since she had started to overhaul her undead, opting for quality over quantity, for now, she was only building a fodder undead army—the kind she could waste in battle and wouldn’t feel a thing.
