Several minutes before the people from the Public arrives...
"Woah, this is going to be neat! Look at those guys, aren't they the toughest?"
"You wouldn't see this every day!"
The cacophony of discussions made the area lively. Some were even climbing up the wall of steel net just to get a better view. However, they don't dare to go over it. They may get stuck within and be beaten up like a punching bag.
"That's the Bulldozer, right!?"
One of them pointed which everyone looked to see a big guy in the middle. Not only was he tall, he's also quite wide.
"How about that guy? Isn't he the Remarian Terrorist?"
pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ "Holy shit, you're right! That guy's bad news! I was actually a Junior High in the Remarioan High back then. No matter who it is, that guy beats up if his mood is bad."
"Is that true? What do the teachers do about it?"
"Well, of course, that terrorist does it behind the school. Without evidence and since everyone was scared of reporting him to the faculty, he always escapes the punishments."
"What's his name? Can he go against the Bulldozer?"
The main subject went to the two: The Bulldozer and the Terrorist. They were known with their titles instead of their names as that is what established their presence.
"I don't see Ben here though? Isn't he like the one of the toughest?"
"You don't know? There's this rumor that the Boss of the Public beaten him so badly that he went to the hospital. No one said what his injuries are but his whole school was keeping it a secret. No one from his school could substitute for him."
The one with the long hair and chiseled jaw looked at the giant guy in the middle. They established eye contact as both of them knew that they were the favorites to win.
However, in a battle royale, your physical strength is not the only thing that will make you come out at the top. If everyone decided to go against you because you're one of the favored to win, you will lose.
Sean, the one who holds the title of "Remarian Terrorist" knew that his physical strength is his best trait.
'They will get to me first. All these people are not just brats to be taken lightly. Thankfully, my agility is quite good. They will use up their stamina in trying to chase me. Once they've given up, they will point their spears against one another and then I will strike, taking the last hit.'
Meanwhile, Gomaro, the one who holds the title of "Bulldozer" specifically looked at one person, not Sean, that he wants to be careful of.
'I can't believe he showed up. This maniac, I have to avoid him first. Not everyone knows his real strength.'
He looked at the one who wore glasses and was just placing his school bag at the side. Everyone looked at him like some weirdo. Why would you bring your belongings in the battle between top bullies?
But for Gomaro, it's because this glasses guy is one of the most dangerous, if not the most dangerous, of all the competitors.
Even before the Public's reemergence, there had been quite a lot of drama between delinquent groups of different high schools.
They all looked at each other as rivals.
"These jerks, I'll let them taste my training. They might be underestimating me but I've trained boxing over the course of summer vacation."
With a smirk, a guy with a buzz cut looked at everyone with scornful eyes. He's Sam and just like the glasses guy, he had been hiding his true strength. Two on the spotlights and two in the shadows.
At that moment, one part of the crowd was instantly silenced. Everyone looked at entrance of the court and saw people splitting and making a way for a blonde to make her way in. Although she's already tall compared to other girls, but amidst the boys, she lacked the height to stand out that much.
"Is that her...?"
"Are you sure? Isn't she too cute to be the Boss?"
"Well, I heard the Boss is actually cute."
"And here I am shocked that the Boss is actually a girl. I thought those are just rumors."
Once Trisha entered, she jumped and kicked the pole, then went to the net and did a backflip, smoothly landing on the board of the basketball ring. It was quick and sudden.
Only when she sat down did she received claps. She looked like a cheerleader rather than fight to that. What is this, a movie?
"I should have recorded that if I knew that's going to happen!"
"No shit! Look at any social media, it seemed like someone else was already live streaming the event and some have their phones up to record that stunt!'
Everyone put up their phones and watched it again. This time, they were able to see it the second time. That was an actual stunt!
There were a lot of comments saying that it's fake but with many sources, they were able to shut up.
Trisha didn't need to look at her phone. She looked around and knew what's happening. She did that stunt to gain the impression. After all, she's aware that most of the people were still doubting her.
The stunt she just executed needs great strength, agility, coordination, and most of all, confidence. As she sat on the highest seat, her position literally and figuratively was established. She didn't need to speak and everyone was already looking up to her.
Once Chihua and others arrived, the battle royale will be nearing its beginning. All of the fighters here have at least established some name. There were some like the guy wearing glasses had some mysterious background.
After the betting was initiated, the entrance to the court was about to close when another guy arrived.
"Can I still enter?"
He asked.
Chihua looked at this guy with a hat.
"Are you sure? If you're being forced, we're not that ruthless to let you in."
"No, I'm not being forced. I want to fight inside."
"... sure, you're lucky I haven't fully closed the gate first."
He didn't think much about it. He does not hold responsibility for every single one. If they think they can fight inside, they can.
The gate closed with a chain and a padlock. This meant that no one can leave until the battle ends.
