Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class
Chapter 457 - 457: Arcadia Spectrum, The Grand Annihilation Plan (1)It took thirteen days for the Regalons to clear the 18 chaotic dimensions.
Now, all 103 Immortal Emperor Regalon was equipped with tens of thousands of Emperor-rank spirits, whether it was a normal chaotic monster or a Griminion corrupted by Hollowstar.
After taking two more days to rest and prepare, the Regalons departed alongside Big D and his Immortal Emperors in a single giant ship created by Krala, Neo, and other skilled Supreme Emperors from Big D’s faction.
As soon as they departed, Big D activated the livestream showing their ship moving through wormholes, skipping cosmoses, and going towards the Arcadia Spectrum.
As people began accepting the stream invitations and joined, they were surprised.
“What’s going on?”
“The ship has the flags of the House of Regalon and Starry Horizon Academy.”
“Fuck, something big is about to happen! Let’s go!”
“Might they be going to Arcadia Spectrum?”
Shortly, Big D released an announcement.
[ Everyone. Both of our forces are going to the Arcadia Spectrum to participate in the Ascension Games. However, you all might just see something surprising, startling, or maybe…shocking enough to change your view of this second layer. ]
Big D grinned. ‘Your view will of course change when the entire second layer’s dynamics completely shifts.’
…
Among those viewing were also old enemies of Regalons.
Cyberterra Empire, now helmed by Neo’s son—Haraven Elvergarde.
Eldoran Empire, led by King Zanathriel Umbraaris Midnight.
Both of these worlds had actually ascended roughly six months after Regalons ascended here—Just after Almond and Lily annihilated a clan and their records were spreading all over the second layer.
After seeing how much stronger Almond and others had become, with their force getting known across the entire second layer, Cyberterra Empire and Eldoran Empire maintained their low profile and just focused on progression.
But both of them had become an allied force after that because they knew that there would be a day when the Regalons would come to destroy them.
“They are going to Arcadia Spectrum, so it won’t be long before they ascend,” Zanathriel said before he glanced at a man with cyan-colored hair, looking in his thirties with a cyborg figure, half human-half living metal shaped into a high-tech machine.
“I will finish them in the third layer,” Haraven said as his cyborg right eye gleamed red. “Regalons…humph, I will make an even stronger Geneline and surpass them.”
“Cyborg race sounds good,” Zanathriel said with a chuckle. “Right now, you are humans, but have the means to become cyborgs, so why not become an official cyborg-type race?”
“That’s the plan, and we won’t be just any Cyborg-type race,” Haraven said as his grip on the armrest tightened. “Just wait a bit more Father, I will free you soon.”
“Let’s watch them now. Something surely is going to happen. Something that no one is expecting,” Zanathriel said as narrowed his eyes as he watched stream.
The ship had finally arrived before the Arcadia Spectrum, a large colorful spectrum belt stretching 100 kilometers long horizontally with thousands of entrances.
Next to the Arcadia Spectrum was the Ascension War Zone which was once again sealed after ten Supreme Emperors who won ascended to the third layer with their clans from there six months ago.
The ship stopped outside the Arcadia Spectrum as Almond with his 29 Regalon Supreme Emperors, and Big D with his sixty-four Supreme Emperors.
The rest of the Regalons were inside Almond’s Spirit Realm.
Both groups flew towards the entrance before them and entered inside as they arrived at a vast open field of grassy highlands.
[ Would you like to participate in Ascension Games? ]
A notification from the Grimworld rang as they entered this area, which should’ve been free to access, but was closed and private by the Big Ten.
“So you are finally here.”
A large hologram also manifested before both groups, showing ten individuals sitting on chairs while looking at them.
[Announcement: 94 Supreme Emperors have participated in Ascension Games. Current number of registered participants: 1848.]
“Oh? You participated in Ascension Games?”
“It looks like instead of just visiting, you already want to ascend. You both, is that right?”
Big D snickered. “Well, I’ve been here for very long, so it’s time to go up, you know?”
“Very well. Then are you both ready to present your force and fight in the Arena? Since you participated in Ascension Games, you must have gotten further notification from the Grimworld.”
“We are ready,” Almond said with an indifferent expression. “Where’s the Arena?”
The rule was that all those who participated must achieve 5 victories in the Arena against other participants, and only then would they be considered ‘qualified’ for Ascension Games.
Naturally, Almond and Big D had no plans of participating in the Ascension Games here and taking one year to ascend. Nope.
Their new plan was completely different and would lay waste to the Big Ten entirely.
“Enter the portal and come. Or you can also travel 500 kilometers to the northwest.”
A giant portal manifested to the side as the Armen clan’s leader spoke.
Almond’s eyes flickered as he took both groups right outside the gigantic arena stadium.
It was 50 kilometers in radius with huge walls reaching 10 kilometers in height.
It was made by Grimworld, and people of the third layer, more specifically, even those below the 10th floor could observe them.
Usually, the authority of viewing streams and other things belonged to the Deity Familias on the upper floors A.K.A those living on the upper ten floors.
But this Arena and Ascension Games was an exception as all people in the third layer’s Abyssal Grim Tower’s 100th to 1st floor could observe them.
As both groups entered the arena, close to two thousand Supreme Emperors were also present, sitting at various seats in the large arena.
The 200 descenders of the Myriad Star Alliance and over 350 Supreme Emperors of Big Ten here were among them.
“Well then, who among you will fight first?”
“I will,” Almond flatly said.
“Take your seats, chaps. Now we watch first,” Big D said with a grin.
Regalons, Big D, and others went to take seats as only Almond remained in the battleground, floating above.
‘Almond, this plan’s second part might not entirely succeed if you fail to impose your impression, but that doesn’t matter because the first part, which is us destroying these fuckers, will succeed.’
‘Because you are now a goddamn god in this second layer, and if those bastards in the third layer can’t see your potential and don’t accept the proposal, it’s their fucking loss.’
[ A participant has entered the arena and issued a challenge. Any other participant with a different Geneline may accept the challenge. You have five seconds. ]
Many accepted the challenges, and all of them were descenders.
In this arena, death was impossible due to the laws. Once dead, people would resurrect outside, with a ban on entering the Arena for 24 hours.
[ A total of 178 people accepted the challenge. Now, one of them will be chosen randomly as your participant. ]
Shortly, one of the people was selected as that person got a notification and arrived in the battleground.
The person was slim with blue skin without a nose and had four arms—Gibrelin clan’s descender.
“Before we begin, I would like to make some changes to this battle,” Almond said as looked in a certain direction, where the Big Ten’s clan leaders were seated.
“I am not interested in fighting one person. I want to fight against 10…no, 50…actually, make it 100. I want to fight 100 Supreme Emperors at once and if I lose, I’ll willingly become your slave.”
In an instant, those observing from the third layer’s upper floors had their interest piqued.
Many had seen Almond already from streams and knew he was powerful, but this was the Arena where the strongest of Supreme Emperors were gathered, not to mention there were 200 Descenders who were even stronger than the clan leaders.
In the sky above the arena, people of the third layer could comment.
But the message that has a challenge/reward attached would get an announcement instead.
< Young man, if you can defeat 100 Supreme Emperors, then I’ll gift you 100,000 God Essence once you ascend here. >
The people of the second layer were also observing everything through the livestream and all of them flooded comments upon hearing Almond’s words.
[ What is God Essence? Sounds fucking powerful. ]
[ If he is giving away 100,000 of it, then I doubt it’s that powerful. ]
[ Maybe a currency in the third layer. ]
“Very well. You can fight 100 Supreme Emperors at once,” the Bralamir clan head said while internally sneering.
In the next second, 99 descenders of the Myriad Star Alliance entered the battleground.
Almond looked up and saw the comments before turning to the one hundred Supreme Emperors floating a kilometer away.
“Make your moves,” Almond said. “I’ll allow all of you to attack me at once.”
