"Ummm…. Master, they are all staring at you." Nancy was concerned about the stares they were currently receiving.
"Let them stare. I am doing nothing wrong." Kana did not care if people stared at her. Just because she climbed forty nine floors in just a few hours was nothing. She had earned the nickname: The Demoness. Because she knocked everyone out of the battle stage in almost an instant as if she was a demon. "It's their fault for calling me a demon! I am a dragon! Not a demon!"
"Master, that is not the reason they are staring at you. You have challenged fifty people each time you go up, and it ends up with you winning in two seconds. I thought you were here for fun?" Nancy knew Kana came out because she was bored, but if she was going to do this, wasn't it pretty much defeating the purpose? By tomorrow morning, she will end up back home lazing on the couch. Not that Nancy was complaining since she loved staring at Kana, but she did not want Kana to be bored.
"Then I will just go back sooner. Plus, I have to talk to the person in charge at the academy because I need him to set up a room for my new granddaughter. I am sure I will need to build a whole new wing just for her." Kana had a lot of things she wanted to do for little Ishtar.
"Will your daughter be okay with you doing this without asking?" Nancy was worried that Yana might get mad at Kana for overstepping.
"Huh? Why would she get mad? My daughters never get mad at me." Kana replied. She looked at the clerk in front of her who was standing there looking at her nervously and said: "Miss Kana, the match has been prepared but….. They all forfeited, so you can go straight to the fiftieth floor."
"Okay. Do I get a free room on that floor? Or do I need to go home now?" Kana asked. She did not want to spend the whole night here. It was not fair to Nancy.
ραΠdαsΝοvεl.cοm "No! No, you will have a VIP room. Your maid can also join you anywhere you go. She is no longer stuck in the stands. She can even watch your matches at the side of the battle stage you are on." Kana was a rising star, so now the colosseum was going out of its way to accommodate her.
"Okay, thank you." Kana felt slightly better. She was able to rest for a few hours now. "I will register on the next floor in the morning."
"Yes, they will be waiting for you." The girl replied, sweat dripping from her brow. She had heard the demoness was ruthless to the point that she would pick people up by their heads and throw them through the entire colosseum just o knock someone else off their battle stage. In truth, if you counted how many people she had knocked off the battle stages, it was basically double the number she needed to knock out since others around her battle stage suffered.
Kana did not care for courtesy when she through people out of the ring. In fact, she was doing it to make sure they were disqualified. Or else she would just knock them all out. She had not really listened to the rules when entering the ring, so she only knew that one could not land on another battle stage. When Kana made it to the fiftieth floor, she was greeted by two girls in maid outfits bowing to her. "Miss Kana, we have been waiting for you. This way, please."
Kana nodded and followed the two maids to a highly secure section of the floor that had ten massive robots for security and even turrets lining the halls. "This is our VIP wing. It is only for those deemed special in the colosseum. Even the nobles are unable to get use these rooms unless they are deemed fit to do so by the higher ups."
Kana heard the maid's explanation and wondered just how much power the colosseum had in this world. To be able to tell those in charge of the world they could not be here showed just how much power they had. "What about the ruler?"
"Even if it was the ruler." The maid replied without hesitation, and a proud smile on her face.
Kana nodded and was brought to the VIP room set up for her. It was more like an apartment with how it was set up. Kind of similar to her own penthouse that she bought. So she felt right at home. She walked over to the couch and flopped down on it, to the surprise of the two maids, while Nancy quickly ran to the kitchen to see if there was any food.
The two maids looked at each other before slowly closing the door and standing there, unsure of what to do. It took a few minutes for Kana to realize that they were still there. She rolled over and looked at them, and asked: "Is something wrong?"
"Its…. We were told to serve you while you stay at the colosseum." One of the maids replied.
"Oh! Well, ask Nancy if there is anything you can do. She is like a super maid. But if you can sneak me some meat without her knowing!" Kana found a new way to get meat!
The two maids looked at each other and giggled while giving Kana a thumbs up. Little did they know that Nancy was more of a demoness than Kana. As soon as they walked into the kitchen, they heard Nancy, who did not even turn around from what she was doing, say: "She is not allowed to have meat unless I say it is okay, so even if she asked yo to give it to her on the sly, I will make sure you regret ever doing it! She must eat a balanced healthy diet!"
