A week passed, and Creige was sluggishly walking into his dorm room early in the morning. "Froth Brother, you are back… what the hell happened to you!?" Ted yelled out when he saw Creige looking as if he had no life essence left in him. His cheeks were sunken in, and he looked as if he had gone through hell.
"Ah…. My wife wouldn't let me off." Creige replied offhandedly.
ραΠdαsΝοvεl.cοm "Fourth Brother, are you bragging?" Ted gritted his teeth and walked away. He wondered when he would find a wife that wouldn't let him off! He stormed out of the room, pushing past Brad, who had just walked in.
"What's wrong with First Brother?" Brad asked as he walked in.
"Not sure. He asked where I have been, and when I said my wife wouldn't let me off, he stormed off." Creige replied as he laid down.
"Are you bragging!?" Brad gave the same reply as he stormed out of the room.
Creige had no idea what to say. He did not know what was wrong with these guys. He could only sigh and close his eyes. A few hours later, he woke up when he heard someone else come into the room. He looked over to see Detree, his third brother sitting at the table. "Ah! Creige, you are awake. Where are First and Second Brother?"
"They ran off after shouting: are you bragging? No idea what got into them." Creige replied.
"You mentioned your wife, didn't you? Those two have been single for over three hundred years. They are a little touchy when it comes to people talking about their love lives. Both are not bad looking guys, but they have an issue. When they talk to girls, they both start sweating from head to toe and start stuttering. Of course, any girl who they try to talk to will be disgusted by it." Detree found it funny. He had tried to help them, but they were lost causes.
"Ah yeah, I can see that happening. Well, we could mess with their heads a bit and make it so they can become people who can speak to girls?" Creige was offering this because he liked both of these brothers of his. He got along with them well.
"Ahah…. I tried offering this as well. But they refused. Something about a man's pride!" Detree let out a long sigh. "I can only guess that maybe in the next few thousand years, they will grow out of it."
"Well, the thing about immortality and being gods is that you can not die from old age. So in a way, they are still teens in a mortal sense." Creige felt this fit them perfectly. His brothers were nothing but shy teen boys who had a hard time speaking to girls.
"I guess that makes sense. If you put it like that, it does fit the current them." Detree nodded before changing the subject. "How was your training?"
"Killed a lot of monsters. The world I was on was not a very pleasant one. Didn't even see another sentient life form." Creige was glad he got the world he did. He was able to come up with a few new spells that made use of his dark magic.
"Ah yeah, when I did this training, I got stuck on a world where there was nothing but men dressed as women. It was horrifying. Don't get me wrong, everyone has their own things, but when you got these big burly men wearing pink tutus running around….. I could only run for my life. I mean, they didn't even shave!" Detree shivered just thinking about it. He never wanted to return to that planet ever again.
"I guess that is a form of mental training than anything else." Creige chuckled as he yawned. He sat up and stretched his arms. "I guess I should shower and get ready for classes tomorrow."
"Ah yeah. I should warn you. There is a new family that just arrived at the academy. They say they are from another dimension. Some place called Oblivion." Detree's words caused Creige's eyes to narrow.
"How many came?" Creige asked.
Detree did not hear the coldness in Creige's voice, so he answered as if it was nothing. "Six altogether. But they are very powerful. They beat up a few of the students from the top families. They said that we were all too weak and that Aurora was nothing."
"Oh?" Creige snorted. He waved his hand and opened a portal to Kana only to see Kana currently holding a young woman by the neck, and in front of her were five other people all lying on the ground moaning in pain.
"Oh! Hubby! What's wrong?" Kana asked when she saw Creige's face.
"Just want to ask…. What is going on, on your side?" Creige scratched his head. He knew, but he still asked.
"Ah, these idiots tried to start a fight with Sei without realizing they were picking a fight with my daughter in law. Did they think my family was easy to pick on? Although I might have gone a bit too far. I kind of destroyed a building in the process." Kana scratched her head before waving her hand. The entire building she had just destroyed returned to normal. "Now then… Creige, let me finish here, and I will call you back, kay?"
"It's fine. I was going to tell you about the people from oblivion, but you seemed to have found them." Creige chuckled. "I am gonna go look for my brothers. We will do a night of drinking tonight."
"Okay, have fun!" Kana smiled and waved her hand, making the window disappear. The girl who was still clutched by the next in Kana's hand was gasping for air as she stared in horror at Kana. She never thought there would be such a strong person in Aurora!
"You can't do this to us! Our realm will not let you off!" The girl squeezed out these words with great difficulty. She wanted to threaten Kana to make her let go.
"Let me off? They are lucky I didn't destroy them the last time you guys crossed paths with me. Wasn't destroying one of your ancient families enough to prove you have no chance of beating me? Do I need to make Oblivion disappear from the dimensional map?" Kana's words made the girl's already pale face go paler. She had been specially instructed not to cross paths with this demon. If she did, she needed to act subservient in order not to anger her!
"You…. You are…. Kana!"
