The little girl looked around, not knowing what she was looking at really. A moment ago, her view had been multidirectional, but suddenly, she could only see in front of her and not to the sides.

It took her a moment to realize that she could see around her, but she needed to consciously change how she viewed things.

"Can you talk?" one of the women asked.

The little girl simply looked with a gawking face as her eyes moved everywhere, trying to look at all the children she used to watch play and the adults that she sometimes saw.

"We're not going to hurt you," one of the girls said. "You can speak with us."

The woman who had brought the consciousness here looked at her. "Say I can."

The little girl's eyes widened slightly and she spoke. "I can." Everyone looked at her weirdly when they realized that she was speaking without opening her mouth at all.

"Can you speak with your mouth? Like we do," another woman asked.

The girl stared at them blankly, not knowing what to do.

"It's like I'm talking to a wall that sometimes speaks," one of the women said.

"Leave her alone for now. She might be in too much of a shock to say anything," one of the women said. "Let's leave this cold cellar for now."

The woman reached out her hand to the little girl and the little girl looked at the hand quietly.

"Come," the woman said and extended her hand ever more, but the little girl had no idea what she was supposed to do.

"Your hand. Put it here," the woman said.

The girl looked around and saw that she had similar things to what the lady had brought next to her, so she put both her hands onto the woman's extended hand.

The woman chuckled slightly and let go of one of the hands. "One is enough," she said. "Can you walk?"

The girl didn't understand.

"Walk," the woman said. "Uhh… she really doesn't know anything, does she?"

Another woman walked up front. "Why not make her buy some basic human knowledge? I don't know how much energy she has, but that should be possible right?" she asked.

"Oh, that should work. I wonder if she has enough energy though," one of them said. "It's basic knowledge, so it shouldn't cost much."

They then made the little girl buy a bit of information, which at least gave her the knowledge of how to act and interact like a human.

"Hello, can you speak now?" the woman asked.

"Yes," the girl said, this time speaking with her own mouth.

All the women around her smiled when they heard that. The woman at the front, the one with blue hair and deep green eyes took charge. "Do you know where you are?" she asked.

The girl shook her head.

"You're in the Rosegrain family house," the woman said. "Come, we can talk after we leave here."

The little girl nodded innocently and took her first step, something she had never done before this, and yet it came so naturally to her.

The group let her have her own space as she walked up the stairs slowly. Once outside, the children were sent away, while the women took the little girl outside to the beautiful garden.

The garden was massive and had a big meadow in the middle with hedges full of beautiful flowers. The little girl was curious about everything, so she looked around curiously.

The women smiled as they watched the girl turn her head from one thing to another like some sort of puppy.

"Do you remember anything?" one of the women asked.

"Remember? No," the little girl said.

"Hmm, you will soon," the woman said. "Once Nigel meets you, you will get the help you need."

-n0ve1、com "Nigel?" the girl looked at them with a confused look. "Who is Nigel?"

"We are all married to Nigel," the woman said.

The little girl heard that and thought for a second. She understood what marrying was now that she had a bit of knowledge, so she looked at the woman and asked, "Nigel is your husband?" she asked.

"Well… technically not, but you can say that," one of them said.

The little girl was slightly confused. "Is Nigel the father of your children," she asked.

"Technically, yes," the woman said. "But I wouldn't really call Nigel a father."

The girl was even more confused. "Where is Nigel?" she asked.

"Not here, unfortunately," one of them said. "But we've passed along the message, so it shouldn't be very long."

The little girl nodded and looked around. As she did, she once again looked at the sky with the massive circular things that covered half the sky. To her knowledge, there was nothing that could describe what she was looking at.

"What is that?" she asked.

The woman looked up and said, "That's Gabeous II. It's the planet right next to Illara."

"Planet?" the girl was confused again.

"Planet, you know," one of the women said. "The thing we are living on. There are 12 habitable planets in this world, all of which surround us just like that. You can see another one about 12 hours later."

The girl nodded but she didn't really understand what was going on.

Just then, everyone turned their heads and looked in a certain direction. Their eyes seemed to notice something that the little girl could not.

It was only after a few seconds that the girl saw something too. By the time she could realize what it was, the thing had already arrived right in front of her.

A woman in her late 20s with long and beautiful golden hair flew down to the group of women.

"Oh, so you really are awake," the woman said looking at the little girl.

The girl looked a little confused. "Who are you?" she asked.

"Me? I am Nigel," the woman said with a bright smile on her face. "Just like you, I am another host of the Energy System."
