Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?
Chapter 1584: A Good Meal—–
“So gooooood!”
As Khepri had stated, the Rainbow Lobster was incredibly delicious! The Lobster King, a gigantic aquatic, marine monster, possessed an immense body and an even more intimidating shell, covered with rainbow spirit crystals that would make Alchemists like Sylphy drool in fascination, this wonderful and almost divine creature possessed a truly delightful meat!
Creamy, sweet, buttery, delicious! There were simply no other words that could describe its flavor. Aquarina, Agua, Justicio, Silvia, Pyuku, and even Undine and Leviathan tasted it, and the moment they ate, they simply couldn’t stop!
Even though their bellies were mostly already full, their bodies simply forced themselves to digest and absorb the energy quickly, as they ate to their heart’s contents, the entire Lobster was gone before they even realized.
“Aaaah… That was so good, but my stomach is going to burst…” Justicio muttered in pain. “Ugh… It’s seriously going to explode.”
“Ahhh… I-I’ve never eaten so much in my entire life…” Agua muttered. “I-I think I am hallucinating.. I’m seeing colors… so many colors… burp…”
“Uuhh… I guess I’m the only one that’s fine,” said Pyuku.
“It doesn’t count! Slimes have seriously bottomless stomachs!” said Aquarina, complaining as she rested on the floor.
“That’s true! Just how much can slimes eat?” Asked Silvia. “Endlessly?”
“Not endlessly…” said Pyuku. “We simply absorb what we can, but if what we eat surpasses our mass, we can only digest it slowly over time with the enzymes of our bodies… But yeah, in a way, our entire bodies are a huge stomach with enzymes and acids to absorb and dissolve anything we eat. It is why… I guess that’s why we were such good cleaners for the Gods.”
“D-Don’t overthink about it…” Undine sighed, patting her belly. “That was delicious by the way, especially with that spicy sauce, really good. I usually don’t even eat but this day, I guess I changed my habits quite a bit.”
“Raaarrr…” Leviathan rested upside down over the ground, with his four legs upside down as well, looking all chubby and adorable.
“My tummy… help… someone help me…” Silvia cried.
“Heheheh, serves you right!” Khepri mocked Silvia, resting over her big belly. “Take this!”
She began slapping her belly, mocking her master.
SLAP!
“Ouch! S-Stop it you bully!”
“Take this and this!”
SLAP! SLAP!
“Ouch! No moreeee!”
Aquarina giggled a bit, as she felt happy. She felt fulfilled and was able to feel the same way she did with her friends. Perhaps they were far away now, but that didn’t mean she was alone, and it didn’t mean that she would now be miserable until she met them again.
“Haaahh… Thank you guys, for being here…” Aquarina said, as her friends glanced at her.
“Huh? Why?” Silvia wondered.
“I mean, I’m definitely getting paid from this…” Justicio said.
“I don’t mean it like that! I mean… Like, friends, you know? I’m grateful that you… Err, that you accepted me as your friend,” said Aquarina. “Thanks…”
Justicio, Silvia, and everyone else fell silent for a moment, looking at Aquarina, who progressively grew redder.
“W-What with the awkward silence?!” She asked. “Was it weird?!”
Silvia and Justicio looked at one another, and giggled.
“Hahaha, it’s not like that! We are just a bit surprised, right?” Silvia giggled.
“Yeah you aren’t as honest with your feelings most of the time…” Justicio yawned.
“Uugh, you guys’ sure love mocking me when I finally open up a bit!” Aquarina complained. “This is only going to get the opposite result, you know?!”
“Hahaha! Sorry, sorry, we love you too Aquarina! Well, I don’t know if Justicio does, but I do!” Silvia walked towards Aquarina and hugged her tightly, throwing her back into the ground.
“Uwaah! S-Silvia!” Aquarina blushed a bit, as she felt Silvia’s lovely hug.
“You’re my best friend!” Silvia smiled. “We might’ve met briefly but… nobody has been like you to me before! Mooch!”
Silvia kissed Aquarina’s cheek, the tribe of Everstone was rather open about touching one another to greet and even kissing a person’s forehead or cheek for a greeting. These customs come from them being like a big family.
“Silvia… Thanks,” Aquarina smiled happily, rubbing her face on hers. “You’re like the sister I never had, honestly… Though I think my mom might give birth to one soon.”
“Hahaha, I’m looking forward to that!” Silvia giggled. “You’re also like my sister, Aquarina! I’ll be so sad when you go away… Can’t you stay in Everstone forever? Just bring along your girlfriend! I want to met Sylphy too!”
“A-Ah… I don’t know I could ever do that, I’m sorry,” Aquarina said. “But let’s enjoy the time we’ve got together, alright?”
“Uhh… Okay!” Silvia recovered quickly from her sadness.
“Haah… You’re excluding me way too much! I’m also… I mean… Um, well, with Silvia we were already friends since we were brats, but… Yeah, I’m glad we’re friends, Aquarina. You’ve done so much for me, thanks a lot, really,” Justicio sighed. “There, I said it…”
“Heheheh…”
“Hehehehh…”
Siliva and Aquarina giggled almost synchronized as they looked at the embarrassed boy with sleepy eyes.
“D-Don’t laugh at me! SEE?! I finally open up and you laugh!” Justicio facepalmed.
“Come on, we love you too!” Silvia hugged him.
“Yeah, yeah, don’t be like that dude!” Aquarina laughed, smacking his back and patting his head.
“Ouch… Hahah… you girls are going to kill me one day…” Justicio laughed slightly nervously.
“…”
Agua looked at the scene with a bit of surprise, and then she smiled lightly.
She looked down at the floor afterwards, feeling a bit…
Well, lonely.
She did have some friends at her village, but nothing quite like this.
Because of her position as the Village Elder’s daughter and the Priestess of the Oasis, she had a lot of responsibilities, and often times she was too respected for her friends to act so close like this with her.
“Maybe if I had met them sooner…” She thought for a moment, sighing. “Ah, well, forget it. I should be glad the heroine allowed me to accompany her. It has been an honor to-“
“Agua! Come here too!” Silvia called her, interrupting her train of thoughts.
“E-Eh? Me?” Agua was surprised.
“You’re our friend too, right?” Aquarina asked, crossing her arms while smiling gently.
“I-I…”
