Chapter 1674: Aquarina’s Domain

—–

Aquarina accumulated her internal Mana and Spirit Energy, and then released it alongside activating several Skills and Abilities within her at once.

“{Heavenly Poseidon’s Aegis}!”

BOOOM!

Suddenly, a giant blue barrier manifested around her entire body, repelling the ants and sending them flying away with immense force, hundreds of these small ants exploded and died instantly.

This was Aquarina’s [Heavenly Poseidon’s Aegis], a Skill, and also part of her Divine Blessing’s Abilities. Much like Sylphy Skill of a similar name, it helps her repel damage back to the foe several times in a row.

It has a cooldown with each use, but right now, there wasn’t a better usage for this Ability than right now!

SPLAAASH!

As she used the Ability, a tsunami of sea water was unleashed as part of the shield’s effect, weakening the domain of flames slightly.

But that wouldn’t work completely, the Ant Queen quickly charged towards her, aiming to kill Aquarina while she was weakened with its giant scythes.

“SHYAAAAACK!”

She unleashed a barrage of piercing and cleaving attacks with them, which Aquarina saw incoming and rapidly evaded, the ground where she was beginning to rapidly shatter apart and leave behind giant craters.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

As Aquarina ran, her Aura continued expanding as the power of her Divine Abilities activated, fusing into a single mass within her Aura.

She used [Heavenly Ocean Ruler] to unleash her power to manipulate all Water and Seas around her and to even summon their power.

Then she unleashed her [Ocean Dragon’s Aura] to transform her Aura into a serpentine sea dragon surrounding her.

She used [Divine Poseidon Trident] to infuse the power of the Trident, a magical divine weapon she could conjure and summon combined with her weapons, infusing it into her Aura.

Then, using [Elemental Fusion], [Shamanic Alchemy Arts], and [Ocean Magic], she condensed it all together!

FLUOSH!

“Here it is! You’re not the only one with a Domain! I’ve figured it out! A domain without even needing to be in a large body of water!”

Aquarina laughed, rushing back to the Ant and facing its giant scythes and then, she unleashed [Sea Princess’ Wrath], [Divine Abyssal Frost Leviathan Double Aura], [Runic Formation Construction Arts], and [Spiritual Aura Embodiment] to unleash the accumulated power merged into her Aura explosively and also keep it together into a single space.

SPLAAAASH!

“{Divine Domain Expansion}: {Divine Ocean Dragon Princess’ Heavenly Wrath}!”

Water was unleashed from every corner of space out of nowhere, wrapping around the Ant Queen and destroying her little ant summons in an instant!

FLUOOOSH!

The ocean kept expanding endlessly, as the fire within the domain the Ant Queen created was completely overwritten.

Sea took over, drowning the ant queen as she glanced in horror as a gigantic dragon made of water emerged, Aquarina herself.

“SHYAAAEEEE?!”

The Ant Queen was confused and terrified, as the ocean domain kept swirling, rapidly releasing a tremendously powerful pressure, wrapping so tightly into the monster that it began crushing and asphyxiating her.

And then…

“HAAAAHHH!”

Aquarina, having trapped her foe in her own Domain, rushed towards the Ant Queen with her fists, her dragon form’s fists being gigantic, even if made of water.

“{Abyssal Sea Fist Arts}: {Furious Ocean Dragon’s Rampage}!”

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Her powerful draconic fists filled the Ant Queen with massive holes, making the monstrosity’s big eyes turn white in agony and pain, before dying a second after.

SPLAAASH!

The Domain instantly came undone after that, Aquarina couldn’t hold it together any other second.

“Phew… Haahh… Hahaahhh…”

Aquarina laughed as she rested over the floor, the water generated by her Domain remained, splashing everywhere and turning off any cinders left behind.

As she laughed, she gasped for air, feeling exhausted after what she just did. In fact, she could hardly believe she did all of that herself.

“I created a Domain! Hahaha! I did it!”

She celebrated, raising her arms happily, as she saw the corpse of the Ant Queen, a Tier 8 Monster, right in front of her.

It was a terrifyingly strong monster, if it had been of any other element, it might’ve taken her more effort to defeat it, and perhaps she would’ve definitely needed her Spirits, Familiars, and her Friends to help her out.

However, flames against water? She knew water would win, always!

“Aquarinaaaaa!”

She heard Silvia’s cry, as Aquarina slowly stood up, glancing at her friends running towards her.

“You did it! By the gods!” Agua said.

“T-That was intense! That thing was stronger than the previous one, wasn’t it?!” Justicio asked.

“Are you alright?!” Silvia wondered. “We saw you struggling and we got worried!”

Surrounded by her friends, Aquarina felt flustered that they were so worried about her.

“I’m fine, really… Thanks for worrying. But something like that would never be an issue for me! If anything I got to practice my skills, hehe,” Aquarina acted cocky as always. “Did you see the awesome thing I did? I created a Domain!”

“A-A Domain?! Like the Ant Queen?” Silvia asked.

“Domain… you mean the higher-level technique that only those that master Auras can unleash?” Agua wondered. “Only my mother can use that in our tribe!”

“Yeah! Though it was pretty unstable, but I was able to get a glimpse of what I could get if I keep working hard. Now the issue is in having to somehow figure out a formula to both keep it up for long and to not drain all my damn Mana…” Aquarina sighed, taking out a Mana Potion from her shadows and drinking it. “Phew! I’m exhausted though.”

“Even if that was an unstable version, it was an incredible display of power…” Justicio muttered. “Damn, I wonder if I could ever dream to create a Domain one day?”

“I mean who knows? Everyone here has great potential anyway, I’m sure you’ll figure it out eventually one day,” Aquarina nodded while shrugging. “Oh! Pyuku! How is it? Did you have your fun.”

“Yeah, I got a little worried too, but I’m glad you’re fine, Aquarina,” Pyuku looked up to Aquarina, as he was much smaller than her. “Um, but what should we do now? Should we go for the second nest?”

“It’s quite early… But I think everyone’s tired, we could regain energy if we eat something,” Aquarina said. “Then we go after another nest before ending the day.”
