"So you met her whilst you were gathering supplies... And she became your underling... I see... I'm sorry about to way I reacted." Apologised Viera with sincere apologetic eyes as she stared at Sophie.
"It's fine, please don't worry mention it. The one at fault was Xavier after all." Responded Sophie with a forgiving smile.
The two girls were sat by the table interacting whilst Xavier and Sangrea stood beside one another organising the supplies at the kitchen.
It was just the two of them, Anastasia was sent off with the butler to do other chores. They seemed rather grateful after leaving, especially Anastasia.
"So there's really nothing going on between you two?" Sangrea asked.
Xavier shook his head.
"Nope, I spared her and she became my underling since she has potential to be useful."
Xavier's response was genuine, he didn't seem to lying or trying to hide anything.
"But if you're worried I can tell her to lea-"
"No, it's fine. She can stay." Sangrea interrupted. "It's just... When I saw you two together..."
Sangrea's bottom lip protruded out in a pout once more as she struggled to finish the sentence. With her reddened cheeks, she glanced at Xavier.
*Thump*
Xavier's heart skipped a beat when he saw her expression.
'How does she pull off such cute expressions...?'
Before all he was focused on was saving his family, but even he wasn't an idiot. Having such a gorgeous girl making that sort of expression because of him.
Not to mention that girl being his wife, the current Xavier couldn't help but tease her.
"Don't tell me, you were jealous?" Xavier asked as he leaned in whilst grabbing her face.
Sangrea's cheeks grew even redder once Xavier's face was in proximity. She reflexively looked away with her heart trying to pound its way out of her chest.
While doing so however, she ended up noticing the gaze of Sophie and Viera on her as they watched. In that moment, her ears twitched as she got an idea.
'She's too fucking cute... Should I tease her some more-'
Xavier's thought was interrupted when all of the sudden-
*Smooch*
Sangrea had leaned in, kissing Xavier right on his lips before their eyes.
Xavier's eyes widened as he reflexively pulled away in surprise, but in that moment, Sangrea grabbed him by the cheeks and pulled him in again, before giving him another passionate smooch.
Just like the time in the train station where they had their first kiss, Xavier's mind was overwhelmed by the softness and her lips and tongue as they intertwined.
Sangrea was still a bad kisser, but the way she was sucking on his tongue to prevent him from escaping the kiss, it felt strangely present.
After a few more seconds of smooching the two's lips finally separated with a strand of saliva connecting them whilst they panted.
"Yeah... I was jealous..." Sangrea muttered with bright red cheeks as she caught her breath.
'So they were together... No wonder it was said that they were both involved as factors in the fall of the camp... That being said... That was one hell of a kiss...' Sophie thought to herself as she blushed.
Viera whose cheeks were also red, didn't say anything. She simply narrowed her eyes before looking away.
Xavier who was also panting, looked down at his shorts before moving his placing his hand in his pocket and stretching his pocket out to hide it.
The kiss had given him a massive bulge. Because he'd reacted fast enough Sangrea hadn't noticed.
"That being said, in the Vampire world it's quite common to have more than one wife, and if that's what you wanted, I wouldn't be against it... After all, I'd still be the one you love the most." Said Sangrea with a confident, slightly cheeky smile.
*Thump*
Once again, Xavier's heart skipped a beat once again.
It had been happening more and more frequently ever since he'd met Sangrea. And in all honesty, it was scaring him.
The only reason Xavier had initially gone along with the idea of her being his wife was because he wanted to make use of her.
Sangrea was powerful and she knew a lot more than he did when it came to the Vampire World. That was what he got from her, from their first interaction.
She was exactly what he needed to find his family and survive the apocalypse. Yet now he found himself starting to think that her being his wife wouldn't be that bad.
And that was precisely what he was afraid of.
'Stop making cute expressions like that... Stop being so happy around me...'
A multitude of thoughts travelled through Xavier's mind as the two gazed at one another.
"I feel like training, let me know when the food is ready." Said Viera before getting up and rushing out of the room.
*Creak* *Shut*
Her sudden action caused Xavier and Sangrea to both snap out of their trance. Xavier took in a deep breath before slowly exhaling it.
'Close off your heart... Whether it's Sangrea, or any other person you form a future connection with... Let them fall for you, but don't let them into your heart... That's the only way you and your family will survive.' Xavier reminded himself.
He took in a deep breath before slowly exhaling it.
"Let's hurry up and sort things out, I'm dying to cook a meal." Said Xavier with a smile. "Come help us, Sophie." Said Xavier.
Sophie who was right by the door, close to sneaking out turned to him with teary eyes before complying.
Sangrea who noticed a change in the air around Xavier tilted her head to the side before asking.
"Xavi... Is everything okay?"
With the same smile on his face, Xavier teasingly responded.
"Of course everything's fine, why? Did you want another kiss?"
Sangrea looked away with puffed out red cheeks. "Stop teasing me..." She responded before going back to organising the supplies.

Central London, Westminster.
The building's states were as bad as could be, almost completely unrecognisable in comparison to how they were just a week prior.
The flood was ongoing, filled with debris from the buildings which had collapsed.
The storm was brewing, thunder striking every few seconds along with extreme winds blowing across the air.
In these conditions, barrages of elemental abilities were launched through the air, colliding with the opposing sides elements as the humans and vampires engaged in a battle.
*Clang!* *Clang!* *Clang!*
*Dudududududu!*
The sound of sword striking sword was overwhelmed by the echoing of the bullets being fired by the firearms.
The war was still going strong, the humans who were severely disadvantaged were fighting back with all they had.
These losing battles weren't just taking place in the main cities. It was all over Great Britain.
Other continents were fighting in their own way, but at the rate the battle was going. England, no, the entirety of the United Kingdom would fall to the Vampires.
The days where the humans who'd always sat on the thrown of the world for centuries were reaching their end. The question was, what would happen to the world if the Vampires took over those thrones.
Desperate to not find out, the battle raged on.

Third Vampire Opposition Camp, set up west of the nearest base.
Countless tents spread around from one another were visible all-around camp across the roads. Giant hemisphere barriers surrounded them.
The area where all the tents were gathered, it was keeping any ghouls, threats and even water from the flood from entering.
Inside were soldiers and those of the opposition squads, resting, eating and recovering with the supplies and treatments they had available.
It was one of the recent core camps set up during the day to give the people on the front line some rest.
Attacking each and any one of these camps, would provoke a big blow to the human forces hence why it was heavily guarded by high-ranking skilled officials.
Even for Vampires attacking it out of the blue was unthinkable, this included the low-ranking nobles.
Despite that, one decided to do the unthinkable.
"Is this the place...?" Asked the platinum white haired girl as she walked straight towards the giant barrier.
*Crackle* *Crackle* *Crackle*
With every step she took the frosty sound of ice crackling could be heard, for she was walking on top of the flood, freezing the water beneath her feet with every step.
"Hey... You guys seeing what I'm seeing? Who is that?" Asked one of the soldiers on watch as they looked at the figure through their binoculars.
"It's another Vampire... I'd deal with her." Responded the sniper crouched by the floor beside him.
He quickly adjusted his scope, locking onto the girl's figure with his iron sight.
*Whistle*
"She's kind of cute. If only she wasn't a monster." He muttered as he placed his finger on the trigger. "Wind Bullet."
[Bullet Generation: Wind Bullet.]
A green bullet was generated out of thin air right inside of the sniper's chamber.
The moment it had fully generated. He pulled the trigger.
*BANG!!!*
