Chapter 591: Chapter 589: Level 5 Sorcerer

Years flew by, and before we knew it, decades had passed.

In a special secret realm inside Truth Hall, atop the Peak of Truth, three figures stood gazing intently at a crystal column not far away, their eyes fixated on the Fire Crystal Palace above, unblinking.

“How is it going?”

“It’s close, the time is within the next few days.”

“That’s good to hear. Ivan is someone adept at breaking the norms, yet I hadn’t expected him to reach this stage so soon, just over half a year later than me—a Great Sage—truly making me blush in shame.”

“That’s not all, Ivan has great fortune on his side. Perhaps he will be the first among us to achieve the throne, and then we will all rely on him.”

Upon hearing this, the three exchanged glances and shared a knowing smile.

Standing atop the Peak of Truth were none other than the King of Ten Thousand Woods, the Ice Queen, and Hardy Charosi.

The sorcerer world had long awaited the first sorcerer to consolidate their throne, naturally, no one harbored any ill thoughts about this.

Among them all, Ivan was undoubtedly the most likely to become a Level 6 Sorcerer—a consensus held by many—ascending to Level 5 Sorcerer seemed effortless to him.

Now, under the isolation of the Fire Crystal Palace, there was silence in the space, yet the trio did not leave, quietly standing guard.

One day.

Two days.

Five days.

Until the eighth day at noon, the moment they sensed the surging fortune in the sorcerer’s Witchcraft, all of them could not help but burst into radiant smiles, even the typically stoic Ice Queen included.

“Haha, it’s done.”

“True to Ivan.”

“Yes, now only Sorcerer Joey remains.”

Their tense hearts finally relaxed, signifying a major turning point in the fate of the sorcerer world, and that everything was still on track.

About an hour later, the Fire Crystal Palace, which had been sealed for many years, slowly opened. A figure swooped out looking like a strangely shaped Fire-type royal silkworm.

The silkworm was dark red, with hints of a classic and dignified black luster.

Surrounded by antennae, it flew in the air, several times larger than the Fire Crystal Palace, appearing extremely mysterious and awe-inspiring, daunting anyone from coming too close.

The three realized—this was the Void King Spirit Body.

“My apologies for the long wait,”

The fire light swirled, descending near the three Void King Wizards, transforming into a human figure radiating with divine light.

It was none other than Ivan whom they had been discussing.

“Haha, it’s not too long, just over thirteen years, which is mere trifles to us,”

The King of Ten Thousand Woods laughed heartily, his voice resonant, clearly filled with joy.

Arcane wizards have lifespans of a thousand years; upon becoming Void King Wizards, their lifespans double to two thousand years. Thirteen years indeed is just a fraction easily overlooked.

“Sorcerer Ivan, congratulations.”

“You jest, President, I’ve yet to congratulate you on becoming a Level 5 Sorcerer.”

After many years, both had become Level 5 Sorcerers one after the other—a celebration-worthy and rather serendipitous occasion.

“You two are so familiar with each other, there’s no need for formalities,” said the King of Ten Thousand Woods.

“Haha, it’s just a moment of emotion. Looking at Ivan, I always feel that I am not working hard enough,” Hardy laughed.

“As for me, it was a combination of luck and coincidence that brought me to this point, not a steady step-by-step process like the President,” said Ivan.

“You have such fortune, something others can only dream of.”

Before Ivan could say anything else, the ground beneath their feet rumbled, drawing everyone’s attention as they looked up.

On the peak of Truth, surrounding the Truth Hall, there originally stood statues of four Void King Wizards. After Hardy became a Level 5 Sorcerer, another guardian statue was added.

Now, a sixth statue was forming.

Soon, another hundred-meter-tall humanoid statue emerged, and as the ground shifted, it distributed evenly with the original statues around the perimeter.

This new statue was naturally Ivan’s, also overseeing the entire world.

“My friends, I must apologize to you. Due to special circumstances, I am unable to share this joyous event with other sorcerers today and have them celebrate with you,” declared the Ice Queen solemnly, after the formation of the statue.

For the sorcerer world, the emergence of an Arcane Wizard and the birth of a Void King Wizard are both occasions worthy of celebration by all sorcerers.

Especially the latter, usually marked by a grand celebration to announce the rise of a new sovereign.

For now, the two of them would have to be patient.

“Sorcerer Ivan might not know, but the King of the Long Sky and the Dragon Flame King have long been trapped in a certain place, desperately holding on, waiting for our rescue,” the King of Ten Thousand Woods continued.

“I did not expect the situation to become so severe!”

Upon hearing this, Ivan’s expression turned solemn. He had anticipated some major events in the sorcerer world, but had not expected things to have developed to such a dire state.

“The situation is still manageable for now. The King of the Long Sky and the Dragon Flame King have not fallen. I recently contacted them using a Secret Technique, and with you and Hardy quickly rising to power, there is still room to turn things around,” said the King of Ten Thousand Woods, indicating that Ivan need not be overly anxious, as the situation hadn’t reached its worst yet.

This was also why they had decisively pulled out all the stops to support the trio’s promotion to Level 5 Sorcerers, a decision that now seemed very wise.

After Hardy and Ivan became Level 5 Sorcerers, the heavy pressure on them was significantly lessened.

“That’s reassuring. If there’s any way this sorcerer can assist, just command me. Ivan will do his utmost,” Ivan replied, clearly relieved. He shared weal and woe with the sorcerer world and naturally did not wish to see any Void King Wizards fall.

“We have the same saying, we can wait a few years, the King of the Long Sky and the Dragon Flame King can also wait. There’s no need to be too hasty,” the King of Ten Thousand Woods slowly shook his head.

He too didn’t want any mishaps to occur. These two had only recently ascended and needed time to adapt to their increased powers. They were all willing to wait.

Hearing this, Ivan and Hardy exchanged a look and nodded solemnly.

At that moment, they both silently resolved to adapt to their own powers as quickly as possible and then find a way to help the two Void King Wizards escape their predicament.

In the days that followed, to avoid giving the enemy any hint, the two remained in this secluded space, busily honing their powers.

Meanwhile, with the help of the King of Ten Thousand Woods and the Ice Queen, they further familiarized themselves with the important treasures of the sorcerer world, making full preparations for a potential great battle.

All of these efforts remained hidden from the outside world.

Wizards of Truth City knew only that in recent years, the sorcerer world had gained an Arcane Wizard named Nanier Tutuao from Chaina Continent Eastern Capital and a famous Knight King named Tanaya from the premier sorcerer family, Fitzgerald.

They were unaware that the sorcerer world had seen the birth of the fifth and sixth Void King Wizards, thus fortifying the realm with two more pillars of support.
