In this world, chances of getting awakened or enlightened by the heavens were not impossible; however, it was very rare.
However, right now, Lucas awakened a 'Beast tamer talent'. Moreover, it was not a low one either.
'When did awakening a talent become that easy?'
Lucas calmed down his excitement as he muttered to himself.
'Ding,
The host has directly become the rank 1 beast tamer.
'Ding,
Please select a spirit beast as your primary beast from the list below.
'Ding,
1) Winged white tiger (Adolescent)
2) Normal white tiger (Adult)
3) Phantom eagle.
4) Blackwind panther.
Note:- Shadow dragon is the guardian spirit beast. So, it can't be chosen.
'Oh'
Just as he was focusing on healing the minor injuries on the blackwind panther, he received a couple of system notifications, making him nod his head.
Lucas knew how the beast taming profession works.
The spirit beasts tamed by a beast tamer would be classified into two types, primary and secondary.
For every rank, a beast tamer could only make one primary spirit beast which gives him one of that spirit beast's skills. In return, the spirit beast's aptitude will be upgraded and it could make easy breakthroughs in the future.
As for the secondary spirit beasts, there would be no such thing; however, the beast tamer could use resources to evolve them or increase their strengths.
'I choose the Phantom eagle as my primary spirit beast.'
There was no hesitation as Lucas directly selected the primary spirit beast.
Actually, the winged white tiger would be a good choice as his first primary spirit beast; however, it is still young and only has two basic skills. So, he saved it for next time.
'Ding,
Phantom eagle has been chosen as the primary spirit beast.
'Ding,
Please choose a single skill from the list below.
'Ding,
1) Phantom slash
2) Dark heal
3) Shadow jump
4) Treasure halo
5) Phantom beam
'Holy heavens. I can choose a skill for this profession too?'
Even though Lucas knew he could get a skill from the primary spirit beast, it was randomly given to him; however, with the help of the system, he was able to pick the skill he wanted.
'I choose 'shadow jump'.'
Unlike the list of skills he had to choose from in his other professions, Lucas knew the complete information about these skills as these skills belonged to his pets.
So, without any hesitation, Lucas chose the skill that he was longing for a while now.
'Ding,
The skill 'Shadow jump' is added to the beast tamer's kill set.
'Ding,
Skill name:- Shadow jump (level 1)
Effect:- The user can instantly teleport between the two shadows of the living beings within a 10 meters radius.
Cost:- 100 units of bestial energy.
Cooldown:- Two minutes.
'Nice.'
After checking the skill information, Lucas nodded his head; however, just like always, the system once again surprised him.
'Ding,
The title 'Sovereign in process' is triggered, the host can choose another spirit beast as his primary spirit beast for each rank he progresses in the beast tamer's profession.
'I think I should stop surprising each time the title is triggered.'
After triggering the title for his three professions like 'Knight', 'Assassin' and 'Beast tamer, Lucas shook his head and at the same time, a thought flashed in his head, 'What if I learn other professions? Will the title help me get the double benefits?'
Even though he questioned himself, he could already guess the answer to it.
'However, if I learn two many professions, I might not focus on any one of them. But, it would be a waste of such a good benefit from the title.'
Soon, Lucas started thinking about it for a moment and muttered, 'Let's see. I will just focus on the professions I have high-level talent in. As I can always upgrade my other professions with the help of my strongest profession.'
Even though he had talents in various professions, Lucas didn't have a sovereign grade talent in any profession. Moreover, his 'Knight talent' was pitiful as he already caught up to his talent and he could not make progress in it unless he upgraded his talent in that profession.
So, Lucas felt he should go with the flow and focus on the professions in which he could increase his strength until they caught up to his talent.
'Anyway, I will choose my second primary spirit beast.'
While saying that, Lucas placed his hands on the blackwind panther that he was currently riding.
'Ding,
Blackwind Panther has been selected as the second primary spirit beast for the host's rank 1 beast tamer status.
'Ding,
Please pick one skill.
1) Darkwind blades
2) Enhanced speed (Passive)
3) Shadow fang
4) Panther strike.
'Even though this beast didn't have overpowered skills, I liked one of its skills.'
Why would he select the blackwind panther without thinking which skill he had to pick?
Without wasting any time, Lucas directly chose 'Darkwind blades'.
'Ding,
The skill 'Darkwind Blades' has been added to the beast tamer's skill set.
'Ding,
Skill name:- Darkwind Blades (level 1).
Effect:- Upon activation, the user can summon 10 wind blades that have dark elements in them to attack his targets.
Cost:- 100 units of bestial energy.
Cooldown:- 10 minutes.
'Even though both skills are level 1, the differences in their cooldown is a little too much.'
Lucas was surprised with the cooldown; however, he was not bothered about it because, in the future, he would have so many skills from various professions to use.
There was another skill that piqued Lucas' interest and it was 'Advanced speed'; however, he felt he needed a skill that could be useful to attack multiple targets like 'Darkwind Blades'.
'Swoosh'
'Huh? Did the panther's speed increase just now?'
As soon as he got the skill 'Darkwind Blades' skills from the Blackwind panther, Lucas felt the spirit beast's speed increase by another level and made him wonder, 'Is it because of becoming my primary spirit beast?'
'That might be it. Anyway, at this rate, I will reach the town in another twenty minutes. Please hang in there everyone.'
Soon, Lucas stopped playing with the system and focused on the route.
