And then… splash!
Her body parts fell onto the ground in pieces.
The other Primals were in an uproar!
Primal Alexander had defeated a respectably strong Primal Kitsune who was ranked around the top twenty in the group of hundred, with extreme ease!
And what an impressive attack!!
Primal Kitsune’s body glowed for an instant before they slowly reformed into her original form.
Although she didn’t die, everyone present could sense that her strength had dipped, and that she looked much less alluring than before.
“As expected of a Primal. Your life saving measure is very powerful.” Primal Alexander chuckled dismissively.
Primal Kitsune grimaced and then disappeared from the room completely.
She had no more interest in participating in the meeting.
She left her underling in the room though. She would still be up to date with the happenings and decisions of the group.
“Primal Alexander, congratulations on such a decisive victory. Your attacks truly are as mysterious as they say!” Old Wabetto said warmly.
“Primal Alexander. What skill was that? I could not identify the method nor the energy behind it!”
“It’s nothing, it’s just a minor trick using time and space energy. Haha!” Primal Alexander replied modestly.
“Minor trick! Haha! Well said! Primal Kitsune just got one of her lives killed by a minor trick! Well done! Well done!”
“Hahaha! Primal Alexander! You hide your strength extremely well! You sneaky bastard!”
All the other Primals congratulated him in their own way and posed several questions about his skills to him.
“Thank you all for your kind words.” Primal Alexander said warmly in reply. “I was just doing what I had to do. I can’t stand people calling me a cheater, even when I am cheating, and especially when I am NOT cheating like today! I mean, how could I be cheating. Elliot is a human, and thus is in my faction is he not?”
“True! True! He is a human and he is in your faction! Hahaha!”
“Yes. And so, I believe that there are no more who disagree with me bringing Elliot in as a participant like Primal Kitsune?” Primal Alexander asked.
“Of course not! You did well in bringing him to us. It will be good to check his power personally too!”
“Yes, that’s true. It will be good to have a sample of his blood as well.” A Dragon Primal said eagerly.
“No.” Elliot said quietly. But it rang out throughout the room like a thunderstrike.
At his word, the entire room fell silent.
“Excuse me? Did you just say… no?” A burly, plant based Primal rumbled loudly.
“I believe he did.” Primal Alexander said pleasantly.
“I am here to defeat your participants. Not to be studied like a lab rat.” Elliot said in a lazy tone that was not at all dissimilar to Primal Alexander’s.
Primal Alexander’s smile widened when he heard Elliot’s tone of voice.
“What balls this punk has! To think he would dare to speak up that way in a room full of aggressive Primals. He truly thinks that I, his grand daddy, has the power to cover the heavens and block all these Primal’s attacks for him huh?” He thought to himself. “Smart kid. So he guessed that much already.”
“A mere King like you has no say over what we plan to do with you.” The plant Primal said with a deep chuckle of amusement.
Elliot merely pointed to Primal Alexander. “If you want to study me, ask permission from his sword.”
Primal Alexander rolled his eyes inwardly. “Bastard! Just because I am strong enough to do it doesn’t mean that I want to do it! I still have my agenda! Is he trying to get me to fight the entire room of Primals all by myself??”
“Your sponsor is but one man. You think he can resist the collective will of the members of this room?” The plant Primal guffawed as though he had just said the funniest joke ever.
“Of course. Why don’t you and a bunch of your weedy friends try him out?” Elliot chuckled with a sneer.
“Bastard! Bastard! He’s throwing me under the damn carriage!” Primal Alexander turned to glare at Elliot in what clearly was a warning look.
However Elliot merely smiled at his self-proclaimed “grandpa” and said “Gramps. Time to trim the garden and throw out some weeds.”
“HAHAHA! What a character! I like this young man! Primal Alexander! It appears that you won’t be able to maintain your shroud of mystery anymore. Come, my weedy brothers!! Let us do as the youngster say, and take a bite out of Primal Alexander to see if he truly can resist us!” The plant based Primal roared with laughter and jumped at the opportunity to challenge Primal Alexander.
As Primals, their self-confidence was completely rooted, and they all believed that they could defeat Primal Alexander despite his freakishly strong show of strength!
“Old Wabetto! Another fateless zone please! I, Green Lifetree, would like to have a taste of Primal Alexander’s wondrous sword!” Primal Green Lifetree shouted.
However, Primal Dul’Akharat spoke up at that moment.
“No. Leave your fights for another day. It is time to start the pre-tournament. Time is of the essence.”
At his words, the atmosphere finally calmed down. Primal Alexander may be a mysterious power, he may or may not be able to deal with five Primals at once.
But Primal Dul’Akharat clearly could. And none in that room wished to piss him off.
So they obeyed.
Wordlessly, all the Primals returned to their seats, and got their participants to enter the arena.
“There are ten of you. You will all fight against one of the rest once. Get into the rings with your names on it and fight.” Old Wabetto said loudly.
Instantly, five huge rings appeared, and the Kings immediately got into their respective rings.
“No killing. Start whenever you are ready.” Old Wabetto called out.
Instantly, all ten Kings burst into action and attacked their opponent with their most powerful moves!
