And as she opened her massive mouth, deep voices mixed with shrill voices, cute voices, ethereal voices, whispery voices, guttural voices and all sorts of voices rang out at once in a fearsome cacophony!
“STOP IGNORING ME!!!” Her many vocal cords roared!
It was so creepy and all who heard it felt their bodies shiver uncontrollably for a little while.
All except Elliot, of course, who had the most powerful ear plugs in the entire universe safely protecting his eardrums from the abomination’s auditorial “attacks”.
Slash!
Its sword was so huge, moved so fast and across such a massive area that if Elliot didn’t have blink, he would definitely have been slashed to pieces!
But he did have blink, and so the abomination’s powerful attacks hit nothing but empty space.
The abomination whirled towards Elliot’s direction as soon as he appeared from his spell and chased after him with extreme prejudice.
“Stay still, little bug, and let me slash you to pieces!” The abomination roared and continued her tirade of unreasonable requests.
Elliot was still blissfully unaware and kept blinking away from her, extremely unwilling to get within striking distance of her sword.
His Ascendant Rune was still powering up because he was determined to unleash the most powerful sledgehammer ever created in the known universe. And to do that, he had to make sure that he stuff in as many basic “strengthen” runes as possible to his spell.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
For a full minute, all Elliot did was to blink away in random directions to avoid the abomination’s powerful attacks!
And for a full minute, he pumped literally millions of runes into his massive Ascendant Rune spell.
“You’re overdoing it.” Gilgamar said flatly. “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. There’s a reason why such things had never been done in battle.”
“Yes. And I know exactly why. It has never been done because nobody ever had such a massive Ascendant Rune as their spell framework. And very few had the luxury of a completely abusable blink spell like me. But since I have both, why should I not abuse the hell out of them?” Elliot said to Gilgamar with a satisfied grin.
“I am no energy expert, nor am I a physics expert, but my opinion is don’t go too far when using powers that are as yet completely unknown, like this Ascendant Rune. But it’s your call.” Gilgamar said calmly.
“Good. Thank you for your advice. I shall listen to you and not put in ten million runes as I intended. I shall put in nine million.” Elliot said with a chuckle. “And just to be safe, I will attack her from all six directions, just like a cube pressing in from all sides. That should minimize her energy fallout.”
Gilgamar shook his (mental) head helplessly and remained silent.
He had done his part. Whatever Elliot chose to do and whatever the consequences were, they would all be on him.
After another minute of cat and mouse chasing and dodging, Elliot was finally ready.
He blinked one final time to a spot slightly further than before and gave the Ascendant Rune its final rune.
And when that final rune fell into place, it was as though batteries were finally placed into a rocket that was already at full throttle!
The Ascendant Rune went from being completely inert to become a massive energy cube that completely covered the abomination.
Whoosh! ! ! ! ! !
The six sides of the cube connected and fell into place. Against the other sides of the cube, they were like ethereal gas. There was no collision as they were able to pass through each other.
However, the abomination could sense that it would not be the case with her.
“You wish to press me into pulp? Ha! You are dreaming! All I need to do is to smash one side and I will be free! Take this! Shadow Burst!” The abomination screeched with her myriad of voices and poured all of her power into her sword which shot towards one of the sides of the cube with overwhelming might!
Elliot didn’t hear anything and was able to focus on finally unleashing the full power of his Ascendant Rune.
“I shall call this attack… Cold Press Juice.” Elliot said solemnly before willing the cube to burst out towards each other powerfully!!
The abomination was still sneering at Elliot when her Shadow Burst collided against one side of the six cube sides speeding towards her, and then completely shattered into nothing.
Everything happened so fast that she merely had time to widen her eyes slightly before the six sides smashed into her and compressed her with irresistible force!
With all of Elliot’s increase in intelligence, the fact remained that he had NEVER gone to school to study the basics of atoms, energy and nuclear fusion.
Even though he was extremely smart and his brain had ridiculously quick processing power, it would be for naught if there was no material or data to process.
He had no idea that the forced fusion of atoms would create energy!
There were two types of nuclear reactions which would release an unimaginable amount of energy, and they were nuclear fission and nuclear fusion.
Nuclear fission is the splitting of heavy atoms like Plutonium or Uranium. The splitting of atoms would release a horrifying amount of energy that could obliterate cities or even, in large enough amounts, planets!
Nuclear fusion is the combination of atoms which would release a huge amount of energy as well.
What Elliot was doing, in essence, was nuclear fusion!
And to make it infinitely worse, the raw “material” Elliot was forcibly using in his impromptu nuclear fusion was an overpowered being with the strength of 50 Primals!
A modern 300-kiloton nuclear bomb could create a fireball one square kilometer in size that would heat up to temperatures hotter than the sun.
If a kilometer tall Primal with the strength of 50 Primals were to be turned into a nuclear fusion bomb…
