Spirit Vessel

Chapter 1235: Nether King Zheng He

Chapter 1235: Nether King Zheng He

“Bam!” The images of the ancestors released ten thousand beams, crushing the bestial diagram and soaring toward Thirteenth like meteors.

“Celestial Dragon Cauldron!” Thirteenth stomped on the ground with both feet and summoned an ancient cauldron with strands of saint energy.

The beams sent it flying for dozens of miles but were nullified. This was a saint vessel of the dragon race.

Since it could destroy the beast souls, Feiyun recalled them along and wore the leather pieces himself.

Now, he has become an embodiment of the World Destruction Tablet. Mystical runes flowed on the surface, granting him immense power.

“Bam!” The saint vessel floated above and descended with the force of a brilliant universe.

Feiyun unsheathed Nefarious and his sword intent surged, slashing through the saint strands. It only had twenty percent power but was enough to deal with a saint vessel.

“Rumble!” They were the strongest beneath the saint level. Untold casualties would have occurred in the outside world.

Meanwhile, a ripple formed in the blood lake's center, eventually forming an unstoppable maelstrom.

Feiyun recalled his sword defensively, the same for the prince with his cauldron. Alas, it sucked them in within two seconds.

Fortunately, they were alive due to their powerful treasures.

A while later, the lake became calm again. The rising stars landed on the shore with a serious expression.

“What is beneath the lake? Feng Feiyun and Thirteenth Prince couldn’t stop it.” Celestial Nightingale frowned.

“Riches await beyond perils, I will find out the truth.” Ox-dragon Sacred Descendant took out his green fan and jumped into the lake.

“Keke, this might be one of the great fortunes in the immemorial ruins.” Busi Butai used his saint vessel and jumped into the lake.

The others did the same with the exceptions being Stone Girl and Celestial Nightingale since they didn’t have a saint vessel.

Nefarious protected Feiyun from the river of blood. Each drop was priceless but he had no time to worry about them. An unknown power was pulling him into the bottom of the lake - something truly dreadful.

“So deep, more than one saint fell here.” Feiyun said.

Since resisting was impossible, he went with the flow. There was no bottom in sight and the blood became thicker.

He saw yang behemoths at the bottom, both large and small. Their bones weren’t refined by the blood.

One suddenly attacked but Feiyun repelled it.

The turtle peeked out of his pocket and looked around: “At least six saints here, so many yang behemoths too. Wait...”

“Do you know something?” Feiyun asked.

“Only the Yang Soul Holy Embryos can summon the portal to the Yang World. I told you about this a certain place.” The turtle said.

“What place?” He asked.

“Grave Palace.”

“This is Grave Palace?”

“Of course not, but it is certainly related.”

Grave Palace was mysterious and the Eight Immemorial Arts came from it. The nine gates of hell also listened to its orders.

Feiyun had asked the turtle several times but it never told him anything.

“Grave Palace has control over hell and passage to the Yang World, what kind of place is it?” He asked.

“I can’t tell you yet.” The turtle said.

“You didn’t tell me because of my cultivation in the past, am I still not strong enough now?”

“Yes.” The turtle nodded: “Don’t give me that look, each gate lord from hell is stronger than you, and they’re still external guards.”

“Fine, then what’s the connection between the Ji twins and Grave Palace?” Feiyun asked.

“They can be considered princesses, but something happened back then, I’ll tell you later.” The turtle paused before answering.

“Why did their mother flee to Jin?” He insisted on knowing.

“We’re at the bottom.” The turtle leaped out of Feiyun’s pocket.

Solid ice made of frozen saint blood layered the surface. Feiyun would have been frozen instantly without Nefarious’ protection.

He didn’t see Thirteenth due to the size of the lake and low visibility due to the saint blood.

The sucking force was nowhere in sight. As Feiyun and the turtle moved forward, they came across a bowl.

“Clank!” The turtle hit its head on it and cursed: “What is this, a beggar’s bowl?!”

The black bowl was larger than the turtle and let out a bell-like clank. It didn’t move an inch while the turtle’s head was swollen.

“Looks like a pseudo saint vessel, it’ll become one soon.” Feiyun saw blood runes and saint energy emanating from it.

“Nether Bowl! Damn, this is Nether King Zheng He’s bowl! It is not far from becoming a saint vessel.” The turtle took a look before shouting.

Saint vessels were exceedingly rare; only the rising stars were fortunate enough to have them.

Humans only had a total of seven known saint vessels. Some were missing, others damaged. Only two or three were left intact.

One example was Xuanyuan Blade - missing for eras now. Immeasurable Tower was damaged with one half being in the possession of the Evil Woman. Thus, Xuanyuan Yiyi obtaining World’s End was such a big deal.

Without Nefarious, Thirteenth could have defeated or killed Feiyun. Now, this bowl was on a similar level.

The turtle thought this was its lucky day, a pseudo saint vessel found just by walking around. It attributed this luck to having good morals.

Feiyun had heard of Nether King Zheng He before - a founder of the Yin World. King Yama and the others were merely juniors of his juniors.
