After that, I finished escorting Minami Shouko back to the conference room. I also used that opportunity to check on Shizu, Haruko and Komoe.
There was still a line of club presidents outside, waiting for their proposals to be evaluated. Although I thought of staying for a while to help them out, Haruko and Shizu themselves kicked me out of the room, saying I should stick to my plans.
I could only scratch the back of my head as they shooed me away after sneakily stealing a kiss.
When I finally reached the Literature Club room, I was met by Nami’s pout.
“Ruu, you know your sin, right?” She said, reaching for my collar before pulling me inside the clubroom. Behind her was Rumi, Chii, Mina, Mio, Sumire and Reira-senpai. Looking at them one by one, my lips curved up in a guilty smile. This is like facing each representative of everyone involved in our Cultural Festival booth: six clubs and the junior group.
Then, after that, I sensed multiple eyes falling on me coming from everyone in the clubroom. Given how crowded it was today, there was no way for me to evade their gazes at all, even the confused ones like Nikka-senpai or Mami. Meanwhile, An-rin found everything funny again. She raised a thumb when our eyes intersected.
“Yes. I’m late.” I eventually answered without offering any excuse.
At the moment, the Literature Club room felt like it was a whirlwind of organized chaos with papers strewn across the long table, colorful markers rolling precariously close to the edges, the whiteboard filled with bullet points and the whispers of the girls.
The air smelled faintly of ink and aromatic tea, clearly Mina’s doing, given the empty thermos and multiple teacups on the table. Nami’s grip on my collar loosened as she dragged me to the center of the room, her pout softening into a playful scowl that I knew was more for show than genuine anger.
“Correct, Ruu, you’re late,” She said along with a soft giggle, “And don’t think that guilty smile is gonna get you out of this. You might not need to explain anything since we could all guess what held you up, but do you have something to say for yourself?”
I tilted my head, letting my grin widen just enough to tease Nami and the other girls further. That earned me a pinch on my cheek and the girls’ stern gazes. Even Reira-senpai failed to hold back in stepping forward to reprimand me. Then, Mina handed me a cup of cold tea before saying, ‘Because you’re late. It has gone cold’.
I offered my head to Reira-senpai, which she declined to take. As for the tea, I downed it in one gulp before thanking Mina for such a refreshing drink. She also didn’t buy it, so she served me more cups before she got satisfied.
Once that was done, I took the opportunity to respond to Nami.
“Something to say for myself, huh? Well, can I scold myself? I deserved it, after all.”
“No, idiot Kii.” Chii swiftly answered as she put her arm around my shoulder, putting me in a headlock while ruffling my hair, “You know how you can satisfy everyone here, right? I’ll say it for everyone. We miss you, so go get to it.”
With that, she released me and the first thing I did was grab her wrist, pulling her to me. I lifted her chin, planting a kiss on her lips before whispering, “Mhm. Thank you for reminding me, Chii.”
After kissing her enough times until she got flustered, I switched to Nami, whose scowl had already softened completely.
With a playful smirk anticipating my next move, she spread her arms open as though welcoming me back into her embrace. In between our kisses, she said, “This is nice, but you’re not getting off that easy, Ruu. We’ve got a ton to do, and you’re gonna pull your weight. No slipping off to flirt with anyone else, got it?”
“Flirt? Me?” I feigned innocence despite my lips not letting up in showering her with kisses, “I’m just a hardworking club member, here to serve.”
“Really an idiot, Ruu.”
That earned a chorus of snickers from the room, but underneath it, the girls were already looking at me as they awaited their turn.
And with that, I started to go around.
Rumi bit my lips before saying, “That’s the penalty for flirting inside the clubroom again. I’ll let it pass today because I know what everyone feels… You bad guy.”
Mina remained quiet though but when I told her how delicious her tea was, she stomped on my foot and sucked on my tongue before pushing me to the next girl.
Sumire was startled and almost retreated. Since she’s still embarrassed about the intimacy we shared, my lovely junior just asked for a hug before passing me to her best friend, Umi.
However, unlike Sumire, the soft-spoken girl once again showed me that she could be bold if she wanted to. At first, she pointed at her cheek but after kissing her, she lightly tapped on my lips with her index finger then pressed it on hers, establishing an indirect kiss that turned her face crimson.
Mhm… The girl is dangerous. If we’re given the chance to be alone in a room, I may not be able to hold myself back from pampering her in the most intimate way possible.
When we separated, Nina tried to come next, but I gave the vampire fanatic a flick on her forehead instead, earning me a pout from her. That still didn’t discourage her though. Like yesterday, she acted like my minion. Looks like biting her last night fueled her fanaticism more.
Mio pulled me on a corner, right next to a shelf and told me to give her another lesson on deep kisses. I didn’t hold back from giving her what she wanted. She almost lost strength on her knees so I had to guide her back to her seat.
Then, before going to Kana and the others who remained in their seats, I turned to Reira-senpai, who had no idea whether to run away or hide somewhere.
“W-wait, Ruki-kun. I… I’m not asking for it.” The way she stuttered was adorable to say the least and paired that with her inherently seductive body, there’s no way a guy would be able to hold themselves back from it.
Luckily for her, I was not just some guy. Upon reaching her, I just held her hand and squeezed her palm, “I know, senpai. I’m not here to kiss you. I just want to say… I miss you, too.”
“I didn’t say that!”
“Oh, you didn’t? What a shame…” I shrugged and lowered my head, acting like I was crestfallen
That prompted her to squeeze my hand and pull me closer. And like last time, my head eventually landed on her bountiful chest as she put me in an embrace, “Don’t act so sullen, you shameless junior. That’s not what I meant. I do miss you, but…”
“But?”
“Don’t make me say it! Just be content with my embrace. You already have a lot of girls. Don’t make them jealous because of me.” Reira-senpai released me and pinched my cheek before turning around, most likely to hide her reddening face.
Nikka-senpai, who watched that happen, was giving me a thumbs up but at the same time glaring at me. Of course, she would do that. Seeing me flirt with the girls here was an eye-opener for her.
Well, explaining wouldn’t do anything, so I just smiled at her, reminding myself to explain to her if she ever asks me about the deal about what she’s going to witness in this clubroom today.
With that done, I continued with the remaining girls, not including Kikuchi, Mami, Anrin and Kushii, of course. Ah… With Kushii, she hid from me even though I wasn’t planning to push a kiss on her. After all, she’s not one of my girls. I appreciate her confession to me, but that won’t automatically change our relationship, right? And I know it might be troubling for her. That’s why, as much as possible, I also wanted to protect her from it. Alas, Anrin was too much of a handful. Always pushing her friend on me.
Should I deal with her tomorrow at our sleepover? But how would I deal with her? That’s the question.
