“There are so many of them.” Anubis muttered, looking at the thugs from behind the window.

Nidhogg and Fenrir were on the empty street two blocks away.

Meanwhile, Jinwu was standing next to Anubis. “You should be able to sense them, right? Mingling with normal people and blending their ena into the surroundings will definitely mask their presence. However…”

Anubis’ expression turned solemn. “The threat they’re giving can’t escape the sense of divine beasts.”

Anubis examined every single one of them, picking up all ten danger signs from the crowd.

“I have located all of them.” Anubis muttered.

“Get ready. Once our summoner makes his move, we’ll kidnap them. I’ll inform the dog and the lizard to get ready.” Jinwu then moved to the opposite side of the building and flew away.

Meanwhile, Ricky couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows. He looked left and right, feeling something was wrong. “Isn’t this place a little too quiet? Where are the people around here?”

“Sir. You might not know this, but there are a lot of people who die because of the ash cloud. Even in our place, there are a lot of empty streets like this where all the people living in it have died.”

“Hmm?” Ricky felt something was wrong. Even if this was something normal, the enemy should have realized this area as well. “Anyway, tell those people and their familiars to get ready. If the enemies are as tricky as we originally think they are, they might use this…”

Before he could finish his words, one guy suddenly pointed forward while shouting, “Look! There is a person in front!”

“!!!” Ricky raised his eyebrows and examined the person. Unlike them, who were mingling with other people, Ricky could sense this person’s ena easily.

“He’s a summoner. Everyone. Get ready!” Ricky shouted.

The one standing in front of them was none other than Nathan, who had covered his appearance with a cloak.

Nathan mysteriously lifted up both hands. He even released his ena as though he was going to release an ability.

Obviously, the summoners hurriedly sent forth their familiars to fight him.

However, Nathan simply clapped his hands. The crispy voice that echoed in the empty street felt like thunder reverberating in their ears.

Even Ricky couldn’t believe what he saw with his own eyes.

There were already seven familiars who passed him, so he could see them clearly. Their summoners were making their way to the front as well.

Yet, in the blink of an eye, the familiars disappeared. It was as if their existence had been erased.

“What? What’s going on? What happened to those familiars?” Ricky asked out loud while turning around, wanting to know whether those familiars had died or not from their respective summoners.

To his surprise, all nine summoners had disappeared.

“Sir Juan?”

“Riri?”

“Where is Mr. Harris?”

“What’s going on?”

“The summoner is gone.”

“No. The summoners are gone.”

The people panicked, not expecting to find their summoners just vanish.

Even Ricky was utterly shocked. Ricky hurriedly turned back, looking at Nathan. He couldn’t afford to have Nathan do something else.

‘No. Wait. That person might be releasing his ena, but he is not directing it toward us. I think there is another person that kidnaps them… A domain?’ Ricky widened his eyes in shock.

He hurriedly released all his ena from his body, trying to disrupt the ena that formed the domain. If he could bring them back here, the enemies would be at a disadvantage.

‘It’s no wonder why we don’t know anything. The enemies are using a domain.’ Ricky gritted his teeth. However, no matter how much ena he released, he couldn’t feel the flow of the domain. ‘What’s going on? I can’t find them.’

Little did he know, in the golden courtroom, Jinwu had already turned into his battle form. He spread his wings and remained stationary in the sky.

“Tsk.” Jinwu gritted his teeth. “I manage to hold out for now. Still, these guys will go on a rampage. I guess I will have to use my full power to stabilize this domain.”

Anubis was sitting on his throne, looking at the nine people along with their familiars he kidnapped.

“Welcome to the judgment room. Punishment: Death!” Anubis harrumphed and activated the giant scale to lower the enemies’ physical abilities.

“Where is this?” The summoners panicked, not understanding what happened.

“That’s…a wolf?”

“A dragon?!”

“Wait? Are they familiars?”

“There is only one person in this world who has a familiar that is not humanoid.”

“Don’t tell me. Our enemy is that beast summoner Nathan?!”

The people panicked, ignoring the fact that they could feel their bodies a bit weaker.

Fenrir used his Gigantification to the maximum while releasing his killing intent. “It’s time to crush our prey.”

Nidhogg was climbing the huge scale with his huge body. “I have been lazy because I have been eating things on the divine tree’s root, but I guess it’s fine to look around for prey once in a while.”

The people couldn’t help but grit their teeth. They wondered if they could actually escape from these beasts.

Meanwhile, Ricky was panicking outside. Regardless of his effort, he couldn’t find the nine summoners. And there was an enemy before him. If he didn’t focus on the enemy, these normal people would die.

Besides, the area here was densely packed with buildings, leaving only two ways to escape.

Ricky shouted, “Go back. This is a trap. Tell the boss to send reinforcements! Even one of you is fine. Escape!”

The thugs clenched their fists, planning to do the same thing. They turned around, but before they started running, a magic circle suddenly appeared on the ground as a massive wall emerged from the soil, blocking their path.

If they turned around, they would see the path behind Nathan was also blocked by a wall.

“This is…” Ricky gritted his teeth. “You guys! Hurry—!”

The most optimal action would be ordering the familiars to smash the buildings to make a new path, but there was no way Nathan and Flora would give him such a chance.

Multiple magic circles suddenly emerged from the buildings or the soil.

“Not good.”
